A great functional bag. This is a functional practical commuter bag. I use it for walking not commuting. It is not a waterproof bag in the sense of those with roll-top lids and clasps. It has a flap lid, and the top of the bag folds in a specific way to provide a shingle type effect with the folds and lid. Consequently in actual wet weather do not expect this to keep contents dry if you overfill and cannot fold the top of the bag properly, if you do not fold the top of the bag properly for other reasons. The internal bottle holder is great, I wish there were two. The laptop pocket I do not use for laptop, but I think it is a bit light on actual protection if you were using it for a laptop.
