I bought the AC1750 two pack to extend the wireless signal through out my house. My current tri-band router which is in the basement just wasn't giving good signal on the second floor and with two of us working from home it was becoming an issue. I installed one of these in the basement below the living room and the other in the hall on the second floor. I used the Omada software (free to download) on an existing media server. Setup was painless one time through to put in all of the SSID's, passwords and make a group. Then just add the AP's to the group and you are done. Very easy. They have been in use for two weeks now. Streaming video, WiFi calling, video conferencing, and your standard internet fare all work flawlessly. No bandwidth issues what so ever with two people using five device and streaming audio. Signal strength is very good. I get a connection in my garage which is over 50' away from the house. Granted the speed is slower but that's to be expected at that range with brick walls between. Speed within the house itself is stellar with device speeds coming higher than my better rated tri-band router. I have installed and supported AP's from Zyxel, Netgear, Ubiquiti, and Cisco. These TP-link Omada AP's are easily some of the best I have worked with to date. Highly recommend.

This controller is excellent. I did have one issue, which Caroline at tech support helped me with. All of us are involved in teaching, working or attending classes from home. My original all-in-one modem, router and access point was not doing the job. We made our own cat 6 cables, wired the home and used TPLink EAP 225 and 245 for access points in the bedrooms, living areas and outdoors. This was an easy and fun project. However, when it came to controller, I inadvertently downloaded the software controller and tried to manage the hardware controller with it. It did not work. The controller did not want ot bind to the clouds. Caroline figures out what I had done wrong and helped me resolved the conflict. She was extremely professional and very helpful. So if you have a hardware controller, do not download the software controller. Instead log into the controller using the IP address. Hope this helps someone.

I have a large multi-story home on a large lot. I have always had consumer grade WiFi equipment and it has always caused problems. Surrounding my property are fairly new tract homes which are packed in like sardines. Each home having their own WiFi network taking up valuable space on the WiFi spectrum. The TP-Link solution of APs is great I installed four AP, two in the house, one in the yard and one in my separate office studio. I can now walk the property and get WiFi everywhere.Because of the rich feature set and management capabilities of this solution, I don’t have to worry about which band to use,I always get the best AP and each AP uses the best WiFi band.I am a total fan of this solution and would recommend it to anyone who wants to blanket their large home and property with WiFi.

We have been using a Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router AC1750 for almost 2 years. I have had to fight it weekly. Weak signal, the only way I could get it stable was to turn off the 5G radio. Install the TP link access point and turned off the Wifi in the the Linksys and it has been amazing. This unit is the real deal. Great performance, easy to month, the POE is great, and simple to configure. I am in networking and this thing had me saying "That's it" I am doing a stand alone install because I only have the one unit but it covers my whole house easily. It also covers the yard but the 5G signal does not do well through the stucco, but that is not the TP's fault.I was thinking about going the mesh Wifi route but with this device and the fact that I could easily install it, its an no brainer.

Easy setup works flawlessly, item comes with POE adapter so nothing else required to buy. I had many devices over the years and always had deadspots and issues in a small 1 floor home with basement. I purchased the TPLINK AC1750 and its been over 2 years problem free. Wifi is solid and fast. I only required 1 but have setup multiple in a customers business using the omada controller. I reached out to TPLINK to ask what could help me resolve my deadsport, they recommended this 1750 AP and the omada if I plan on using multiple AP's I only have 1 in my home and I will never use another item again, perfect and flawless install. Mounted on a wall in the middle of my home, run the wire inside the wall to my basement where my modem/router is located and connected the POE adapter up, easy setup.

Wow, I am really impressed by the performance of this device. I just upgraded from a TP-Link EAP115 to this and the boost in speed is huge.I'm consistently hitting top speed on my Wifi when I run speed tests. I'm on a 250/25 internet plan and I'm actually getting more like 260/24 every time due to overprovisioning from my ISP on the download side.I think I must have been getting some interference on the 2.4Ghz band previously because now this thing is FLYING.So glad I spent the money and upgraded. Also great that I have some future-proofing for when I eventually upgrade to a 1Gbps plan. Having a gigabit LAN port on this device means that it is no longer the bottleneck on my home network.

For my setup 1x OC200, 1x EAP225, 1x EAP245This is what you would expect from a pro-sumer / small business controller.Functionality is based on the software which has periodic updates. I use it in an apartment to control two access points and it works fine. Supposed to be able to go up to 50 access points. Now I know people can download the software on their PC or have it on an SBC, but this just seems much easier and worth the price (to me at least).Total price for my setup is cheaper than the high end consumer routers but I suspect the performance is much better (no drop outs, more access points with roaming so better coverage etc). While this isnt Cisco, its a significant step up.

These are great and were easy to setup and configure. I bought 4 of these and wasn't able to get one of them to adopt because the username / password was changed and it had newer firmware than the others. I pulled it off the wall and saw that this was actually a used item. Clearly not refurbished because it wasn't even reset to factory defaults and it had some sticky mounting tape attached and the labels were worn down. That said, I just reset it to factory defaults and it's working fine, but this shouldn't have happened. I don't feel like dealing with returning it.Other than the used one, these are working perfectly and couldn't be happier.

This is a nice looking unit that also lends itself to unobtrusive installation. I've repurposed a TV + ethernet plate into a dedicated wifi access point with this. It is unobtrusive, but also low profile enough that I can conceal it behind a painting hung on the wall. Setup of the wifi was a breeze, taking only a couple of minutes and I now get a strong signal throughout my house. My only warning is that it does require POE and despite some answers in the Q/A section, it does not come with its own POE injector. TP-Link makes a very affordable gigabit POE injector, so that's a good option that adds just a bit to the price of the access point.

After purchasing just about every consumer wireless extender for our home and failing to reduce all issues, someone suggested I try one of these. Once it came I installed it in the center of my main floor, installed an app to my phone, connected and set it up in 2 minutes and since then no one has complained about drop outs or weak signal. Just to ensure we wouldn't have issues I just purchased another and when it comes I intend on putting on the highest level of our house to ensure it's covered top to bottom. It took 12:24 seconds to install this from opening the box to connecting to the configured access point. Anyone can do it.

Great little AP. Bought it to provide wifi to the other side of the house and it's surprising powerful. It alone can cover the entire house and the yard. $400 router that looks like an upsidedown robot spider couldn't even provide coverage across the house. SMH.For the price this is perfect. It does have 3 LAN ports one of which passes through POE, however the unit connects back to your router at 100mbps vs gigabit.Nice little button on top if you don't want the led light on.The mounting plate does not have slotted screw holes so if the box your mounting it on isn't square there's no play to adjust it straight.

These guys are bad@$$, I put a couple of these in my house and also purchased their outdoor counterpart which I have yet to install. The Omada controller is sweet af. WiFi has never been better in my household, previously I had frankentsteined a few router together but that was goitching our. Finally I bit the bullet and got a couple of these puppies on sale and holy $hiz are they fantastic. I’m a network engineer by trade so there was no real learning curve but tbh if you utilize the Omada controller these guys couldn’t be easier to set up, and my WiFi speed tests were maxing out the capabilities of all my devices.

I use it with an OC200 and one other Omada access point.Total price for my setup is cheaper than the high end consumer routers but I suspect the performance is much better (no drop outs, more access points with roaming so better coverage etc). As the Net Tech for local Insurance agencies I often get called to install devices that are aesthetically pleasing and unnoticeable. This AP fits the bill perfectly. Once installed the Agent did not see the AP until I pointed it out and he noticed how neatly it blended in with the decor and the ceiling color. Range of signal is surprisingly far. While inside the conference room the other agents are still able to receive a strong signal in their offices and even outside. Furthest distance was about 100 ft thru 3 walls.

Bought 2 of these, to make sure I have good coverage in my house, replacing my old RT-N66U (AP mode). All I can say is that TP_link have great product. These AP can be configure standalone, without the controller, which is really attractive compared to Ubiquity. They might not have all the feature on standalone, but they are perfect for home usage. As for the Signal, it has a very good coverage. Performance, I get get my 450mbps out for the 5ghz, and around 100mbps with the 2.4ghz, depending of the signal.
