Selected because I dual-boot between Windows and Ubuntu and wanted to be sure that drivers were available for both. Happy to confirm that it works well for both Windows 10 Professional and for Ubuntu 16.04LTS systems, both of which are able to use either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands.Windows 10 simply booted and loaded a driver that worked for the 2.4GHz band and then updated the driver to provide full dual band functionality.Ubuntu booted without a working driver so I had to drag an Ethernet cable connection across the house to get network access and to get the proprietary Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver downloaded and installed (Software & Updates app and go to Additional Drivers tab).Once loaded the WiFi connection was made and works well on both bands. This card uses the Broadcom BCM4360 chipset which seems to be well supported.Read full review...

Inserted it into a pce slot on my motherboard easily (pretty much all motherboards should have a couple small pce slots spare to just push this in I think, it doesn't use the same slot as graphics cards, it uses a smaller slot of the same type). The program it uses to connect to my wifi works well with windows 10, I'm in a different room that's downstairs from my router with a big old stone wall between, but still get full 2.4ghz signal with a single BT smarthub. TPlink hasn't lost signal yet after 2 months with consistent 1080p streaming amd weekly hours-long multiplayer gaming so I'd say it's pretty solid.

Well made product that connects to my ASUS router at fast WiFi speeds.I am used to Windows 10 recognizing WiFi adapters, but Windows Update was of no help. The driver CD did not contain Windows 10 drivers, but the TP-Link support site had them. I guess older drivers should work with Windows 10, but I connected via ethernet initially.

Not bad, but not had anywhere near 1300 Mbps out of it. I think I’ve had it up to 800-850, but won’t go above, despite no blocking of the antenna and in the Same room as a 2800 Mbps capable 5th gen Wi-fi router. It’s good enough to stream to my Occulus Rift 2 though.

No issues at all, does what it says however my internet can't reach over 60 MegaBytes so I can't say if it reaches max speed.1300 megabits is equivalent to something over 150 MegaBytes.

Does the job, has ok drivers windows 10 can detect it anyway, good signal range and speed.
