Needed to replace an aging TP Link router with a dual band one. I've used TP link routers and wireless extenders for years, read the reviews and bought it. Pretty easy to set up providing you remember to get all the login information and settings from your old router before you connect it up. It does NOT have an ADSL modem so you must already have one fitted or buy a combined ADSL modem/router.Pre ordered online, Argos texted me when it was ready for collection. Excellent service.

Before this router I used Virgin Media Hub2 as both modem and router, which gave me half the provided speed and my son complained about frequent disconnects. The router brought the speed up to the expected level but disconnects became even more frequent. If they are caused by the router, VM modem or at provider's end, I don't know. Everything else about the router is great: very easy to set up and configure, clear yet powerful user interface, excellent range and signal strength.

If was a novice, I wouldn’t have stood a chance setting this up on my own. it only took me three attempts. I was disappointed by the range. Other TP Link routers have had better ranges, but the signal is consistent and stable. I love the fact that you can schedule a daily reset to prevent IP loop issues. Excellent in a small space, love the Tether app that goes with it and a good little router, but don’t expect it to reach more than 15m.

Spent alot of time trying to improve WiFi, separating 2g and 5g networks, changing channels etc. Still WiFi from Hub3 poor.Put the Hub3 into modem mode (YouTube video)Attached 15m Lan cable to Archer C7 so that it could be installed at bottom of stairs in a 3 storey house. Now WiFi strong everywhere.I can even kick children off of the network from my phone via the C7 app lol.Very happy.

So far this has been a great replacement for my 7 year old NetGear Wireless router. We were having issues with speed and wifi connection of my Son's Xbox. This new TP-Link wifi router has been a great replacement. Better speed and range. The App you can install on your smart phone or pad is easy to use and has some great Parent control options to set times the kids can & can't use their pads.

I have FTTP fibre with a gigabit connection and the provided router wasn't throwing Internets far enough across my house. I bought this as a bit of an experiment really. Its excellent value at 65 quid, and my average wireless download speed is coming in at around 850 Mbps. Long distance coverage is good as well, the aerials are really good. Recommended if you have a wan input from a fibre modem.

A neat router that's really simple to set up. Connected it to my ISP's existing router to use as an access point at home to improve coverage and speed throughout the house. The instructions are VERY straightforward, the connection is smooth and simple. Everyone in the family is happily connected up and enjoying better internet access, and we all know that happy devices = happy family!

Works like a charm. Setup was easy. It has tons of configuration options and monitors all kinds of usage data that you might find interesting. Allows to manage your users on the network to the extent that makes possibilities nearly endless. The wifi range is also huge, but that is to be expected since its antennas are black. Great product, would buy again

Purchased this router to replace a failing Virgin Media router. Very easy to set up and an excellent compromise between performance and price. Particularly fast for price point making the router an excellent choice for improved performance over the standard routers supplied by the main service providers such as Virgin, BT, Talk Talk, etc.

After finding out the virgin hub3 is not very good at wifi, I was told about adding a new router to help with this problem. I chose this one after reviews on VM forums. Very easy to setup and configure. Just a note, you must change your settings on the hub3 to modem mode for this to work as it should. Plenty of help on the forums if needed.

Brilliant, no issues, very good for gaming and stronger signal than the standard virgin media home hub. Has some brilliant features for business customers and people who enjoy gaming. No down stream when connected with multiple devices over Wifi. Would recommend highly!

The item was not packaged as new and needed to be reset before I could use it.Once setup it works well, but I bought this from Argos as it was the version with 2 USB ports, but there's only one.That said, if one USB is enough, I would recommend this router.

Had to buy a replacement after smashing my Zxyel Router that was supplied by my broadband provider! What a difference this new router has made! I’ve had absolutely 0 drops in performance and broadband! The dual band also works seamlessly!

It is good for its priceThe range is fine but i was expecting a little bit betterThe 5G connection is worse than the 2G for some reason (probably because of the range)I recommend it to people who want to be youtubers

Good router with fine wifi performance and very configurable. I'm using it in conjunction with the standard BT router and so far not had to reset it once.
