Well what can I say? Having played the original Timesplitters game on the PS2, and playing TS2 on both the Gamecube and PS2, this by far exceeds all expectations. No matter the console, this game is brilliant, and is probably one of the best games to be made playable on the gamecube. It has a solid story incorporating comedy in the cut scenes, plenty of action packed levels with a variety of other fun twists such as having to deactivate bombs, hacking computers, sneaking into secret facilities, to killing huge monsters, lopping off zombie heads, and also on certain levels you can driving jeeps, futuristic tanks, and yes you even get to control A HUGE MASSIVE ROBOT!!!!There are so many characters to play as in arcade, there's also a variety of match types to choose from so you're bound to find one you and your friends like playing. And of course challenge mode makes its return again with some very difficult tasks to complete, but the trophies and unlockables always make it worththe time. If you're not happy with the levels provided in the game, map maker is there for you to create your own levels and even your own story for that level, which is all good fun, and satisfying when you trick your friends into little traps you set out on the map ;)Graphics wise this game delivers, it might not be as high tech as some of the most recent COD games released on the 360, but it was great for its time and still is; the music as always is well suited. The only thing I can criticise about this game is that it doesn't have any of the retro TS1 levels that in my opinion were awesome, and the TS2 levels that have been brought back in TS3 have had slight modifications. I also think this game relies heavily on comedy compared to the last 2 but it's not unbearable. All in all this game is still brilliant, and you'll have so much fun playing this solo or with your mates. I prefer this game on the gamecube as my ps2 control's analogue sticks were always a little busted so i could never aim properly, so i recommend you get this on gamecube, however it's your choice. No matter the console I highly recommend you buy this game =]

This is a bright, bolder, funnier sequel to Timesplitters2 and beats that game hands down. The balance of combat and plot, action and stealth is nicely pitched, the time-travel is imaginatively done and everything executed with a real zip and pizzaz, from the laugh-out-loud innuendo (the only time i've ever laughed at the jokes in a game, and clearly very british) to the genuinely spooky sub-resident evil haunted house. Having loved timesplitters2 i rushed out to buy this game and had a fantastic time playing co-operatively with a friend, we ripped through the game in 6 hours, loving every minute... and therin lies the rub, 2 gamers (one average, one awful) completed the whole story section in 6 hours, one blissful sunday. However that was playing on Easy, and as i am working my way through the single player on more difficult modes i am already getting more and more out of the game, and the few challenges i have tried have been fun, and the multi-player awaits. I am now reminded why i loved timesplitters2 so much, i completed that fairly quickly, but then returned to play it harder (i still can't complete the game on Hard), enjoyed every daft challenge and arcade league section, and was still playing multi-player a year after i had bought it. This promises to be even more fun and i can heartily recommend it.

The Timesplitters franchise has always been one of the best multiplayer games ever made. It's a combination of the sheer customization of the arcade matches, the fact you can make your own story maps (although it isn't easy), and that you can (and probably should, especially in TS2's case) progress through the story with a friend. It was Cortez and crew that managed to completely destroy the likes of Halo in a multiplayer aspect. It's very, very nearly as good as single player too. Praise doesn't get much higher than that.Downsides? Whilst Halo 1 is still a fairly easy game to get ahold of, Timesplitters isn't. Especially on the GameCube. This is why Halo 1 is worth about £8-12 for a mint condition copy, and Timesplitters is worth getting on for double that in mint condition.Do you own a ps2 or an original xbox? Then get Timesplitters on there, it's exactly the same game, but cheaper. For us Wii / GameCube owners, it may be fairly expensive, but it is well worth buying. Timesplitters Future Perfect? It's going to be a Future Classic. The Good Bits: All of it. There is not a weak link in the whole gameThe Bad Bits: Quite expensive, me saying this game will be a classic. Watch it get forgotten.

Firstly, I am the Greatest Zelda fan and love it when I get time to play it. I honeslty thought that the Windwaker was the greatest game on the planet, I really did. Then I bought Timesplitters 3. I had the 2nd timesplitters and it was very very good, so i was interested to see if they had made it any better! Well, they had, and even though the dark cloud of EA Games has started to develop it, its still standing! (Which is a first from EA Games that are actually good) There are many story levels, more than last time anyway. There is easy system of working the game and the controls are excellent (radical B all the way baby!) and the graphics are so good I felt sick when I first played. The weapons are better, so are characters, so are levels and WOW its just amazing. There are 149 characters to unlock for Mulitplayer and to do this you can do the single player missions, or do "Arcade Games" or "Challenges" which basically challenge your skills and you can get bronze, silver, gold, or the secret Platinum. Awesome.I can honestly say I have been on Timesplitters 3 Everyday since I got it with my brothers and sister. They all love it too! Its just amazing!

No buyers remorse here, it has aged very well. You do nonecessarily need to play the second title to enjoy this one (and the first really isnt connected anyway). This game is a bit of harmless fun, not as crazy brutal as DOOM or doesnt try to take itself a seriously as call of duty.Every level has side quests. The harder the setting of a level, the more is added to the level (new rooms accessable, more action, more puzzles). It has a great storyline, it could rival a good Doctor Who episode.Thousands of stuff to unlock and challanges to fulfill. Rememberable characters. It probably deserves a 5 stars but im not a BIG fan of egoshooters. That being said the adventure side of the game really makes upfor the shoot em up side.

shooters on the gamecube are a rare thing but shooters of this quailty on the gamecube are even rarer. this game has THE best mutiplayer ever and the longest single player game as well with story , arcade and challenge modes to keep u happy for ages ( some of which are soo hard its almost imposable)as if all this wasent enough i HAVE played this game and it has 4 diffrent types of monkeys including zombie and ninja monkeys. the game play is smooth and polished and the graphics are exerlent as well + this game has so many halirious one liners it will make you laught out loud. all in all a very polished + complete package

At last the new installation arrives! First of all i must say the 1 player can be a let down. It is great fun to do especially 2p but, come on, me and a few friends did in 1 day!(on easy). It's virtually impossible on some harder modes and the mansion is amazingly creepy(watch the videos in the mansion they're great!) but at the end of the day you only have arcade left. You do the easy challenges and thats that. You're then stuck until a friend comes over although it is great for a party!

Great game, lasts for at least as long as TimeSplitters2. Unfortunately there is no too much brand new on this game, and it has less unlockables than Ts2 which will cause that completing the game will take less time. It's also a bummer that Ts2 has lots of bugs and this one sometimes has very frequent crashes. Oh well... otherwise a really good game.

I used to have this game a few years ago, and having recently picked up a Game Cube cheap from a charity shop, I thought I'd re-invest. What RETRO GAMING UK fails to tell you is that although the game is brand new, unless you speak Italian, you're going to have a bad time. So in short, the game is great, terrible seller...

Seems to provide plenty of excitement/entertainment having bought this for my son for Christmas (at his request). There was initial concern when the packaging etc was in Spanish but there was an advisory given that this was the case and that the game itself was in English so all is well.
