Have been going around the houses trying to find a suitable pair of lifting shoes for what seems an age. I have tried the various older versions of the Power lift which when getting to size 11/12, or even some needing a 13, just look far too bulbous like with the toe box being rather round and large, almost like something Sideshow Bob or Crusty the clown should be wearing. The recent promo more or less making them half the cost just meant I had to give them a go, I liked them that much after buying some on behalf of a friend I just had to buy some myself. The design of these shoes resemble a decent pair of trainers but with the added support of the more sturdier sole and strapping.Size wise I normally flicker between an 11.5 and 12 on most specialised Adidas runners,or 11 on typical casual Adidas or other brands, with other Adidas lifting shoes often needing a size 12 or bigger which often had too much looseness all over for my liking. Going for just half a size up from my normal size these are perfect in every way without any tightness or looseness for my average width feet. The heel depth is just right for myself allowing a good range of motion whilst providing plenty of stability too with no rolling.Seeing that these will only be used for approx 3 sessions a week of a couple of hours at a time they will last a long time and no doubt even after the months of use so far should look as new too. I would happily buy them again but doubt I shall need to replace them anytime soon, or even in the next couple of years.

Shoe is perfect for squatting, heal height is just right to give enough ankle mobility and avoid the dreaded butt wink! Also great for oly lifting as the toe area is flexible allowing full extension onto the toes when snatching. Quality is as to be expected with Adidas 10/10, I’ve seen a few comments saying get a bigger size etc... please just buy your normal shoe size! I got a size 9, usually an 8.5 in Adidas but I was dubious of the width of the shoe, they’re perfectly wide enough and wish I’d got the 8.5 now, luckily the strap removes any movement so it’s not an issue really.SIDE NOTE: I’ve seen a lot of people talking about deadlifting in these shoes...you SHOULD NOT under any circumstance be deadlifting in lifting shoes!!! Bare foot / converse or extremely low profile shoes are all you should ever deadlift in, your asking for a world of lower back pain if your deadlifting in a shoe with a heel on!!

I train primarily powerlifting - have not tried this in more dynamic movements.Comfy, stylish, with a non-flexible wide sole that allows your feets to properly maitain contact with the ground during lifts. The shoe is also very comfy (on the warmer side too as it's well padded) and can be fastened really well as the laces are very wide across the top of your foot. The heel is 2.5 cm tall, with the heel-to-toe drop making the effective height marginally smaller (couldn't find this information on any official websites). These definitely feel "taller" than my last pair, the inov-8 fastlifts - amazing for any long-femured squatters as it improves your biomechanics significantly by shifting the load onto your quads more. The only issue is that my lagging quads have now been exposed lol.

These shoes are amazing!! My whole training has been upped a gear. Up until now id just been getting by, by only wearing trainers thinking that was enough but boy was i wrong!! Id thought about investing in some lifting shoes but always decided in the end what was the point its not going to make a difference but once again i was very wrong. In such a short time my leg work out and deadlifts have been given a boost.Just do it buy the shoes, you will not regret it at all. No need to go 1 size big or small just get the sozw you are.Have fun and enjoy the gains ?

I have somewhat large feet (i.e. high arch and wide front) for a US Men's size 9.5 so I don't use the upper holes when tightening the shoes for squats. Otherwise, the shoes fit as expected and make for a more stabile surface when doing heavy lifting. I felt it was quite easy adjusting to the raised heel and my foot doesn't slip inside the shoe. I usually wear standard sports socks and thus need to loosen the shoes after sets in order to avoid pain around my ankle.

These are my first pair of weightlifting boots and I have so far used them for shrug bar deadlifts and they were great. The fit across my feet is slightly snug, but making sure the laces are properly loose when putting them on helps. They probably need to feel slightly tight to give your feet enough support.I usually take a 10 and got these in size 10 and they are fine for me, and I have a slightly wider foot than average.

Great product. Comfortable shoes providing the needed support for the purpose designed. The image does not exactly portray the true colour. If I didn't know better I would swear they were pink. Call me old fashioned but pink is not a blokes colour. Had I know this, I would have thought hard about buying them. 4/5 dropped a star just because of the colour

Previously had used the Adidas Power lift 2. These have a taller heel which will help your squat. Would not recommend for deadlift as it will put you on your toes a bit. Wide toe box and feels solid. The strap helps reduce movement and provides a secure fit. If you only use these in the gym expect them to last many years.

Fantastic feel, it's more of a narrow fit, I'm size 9 and the 9 was perfect if not a tiny bit big (8.5 would have hurt my toes after a while) can't comment on durability as only had them a few days but used them a few times for squats and lunges and they gave enough flex for other exercises.Feet feel stable and secure

I'm usually 9 and I went for 9.5 as others have recommended so it's not too tight. It's perfect fit and I do full depth squats now. It doesn't say here but on the Adidas website it says the Heel height (shoe plus insole height): 25 mm. So it depends on your needs if you want a smaller or larger heel height.

Unlike some other reviews.:I ordered the exact size and they fitted perfectly..good grip on the floor..surprising as they looked smooth on the sole..definitely more stability during squats but just as good for foot placement when benching..all in all good value for money..

Good solid product. Perfect for improving my squats for powerlifting due to ankle mobility issues that needed improvement on short term basis. Very stable and very happy with them considering the price of the product compared to other shoes out there.

Since I'm normally between an 8.5UK and a 9UK shoe size. I ordered the 8.5UK and it is a little tight but not uncomfortable. In fact, it helps add to the security and planted feeling these shoes provide. I love them and they're fantastic.

I bought these for my daughter for weightlifting etc. She has told me that they are absolutely brilliant and make things a whole lot better for her balance. She loves them! With the choice of half sizes too, they are perfect fitting.

Fantastic shoe. Forefoot flexible. Wide toe-box. Heel height is just right. Some sites said they run small, some said they run big, not my experience. These fit me perfectly just like my everyday tennis shoes (Nike Zooms I think).
