I really like the Catwalk Hair Product range from Tigi and regularly use many of its products. I was excited to try this Blow Out Balm especially as my hair is thick, long and quite frizzy at times.At first glance this product appears to be a bit on the expensive side … even at the 55% discount that Amazon are offering at the time of this review (90ml for £7.60), however as you only need such a small amount (I use an amount about the size of a pea for my shoulder length thick hair), one bottle last a very long time.This opaque balm has the consistency of a thick cream and it can be used in two ways. First, on freshly washed towel dried hair … rub a tiny amount between two hands and apply throughout your hair.

I never blow dry my hair, i dont own a hairdryer, i always air dry my hair. As a result it can get frizzy and puffy.I used this and it made a massive difference to my hair, i live in the country and on a normal day my hair gets dried naturally by the wind on a walk with my dog, the only downside is that it gets full of knots. I used the tiniest amount of this after washing, id say about the size of a new pound coin. I rubbed it in my hands and warmed it a little and then smoothed it on my hair, keeping well away from the roots. I then used a detangling brush to brush it all the way through to the ends. My hair seemed to dry in long straight lines, it completely eliminated the knots in my hair,

This product is great for smoothness and shine and heat and humidity resistance. However it is derived from all the bad silicones that we are being told to avoid, avoid, avoid! These are hard, super sticky silicones that adhere to the hair and are not easily washed off, that's why they work so well. If you have coloured hair, or wish to colour it, and you fade quickly or cannot get root coverage, this and other products like it, may be the reason why. I know, I have this problem! I am trying to go silicone free, or harsh silicone free anyway. Some are good as they are water soluble and easier to remove. I do like this product the same as you guys! Just a shame we have to resort to some ingredients to get the desired effects isn't it.

I'm not big on hair and make up but try to look something resembling human when I venture out , this usually necessitates a few minutes of GHD wrangling as I have quite frizzy/wirey but very fragile hair. If I could make my hair look less like Catweazel without them, believe me I would but needs must sometimes.This stuff seems to help tame and smooth my hair and makes smoothing process less torturous, not sure if it's helping stop snapping so much yet but it can't be hurting when it means I spend less time applying 220 degree heat to it ...It definitely doesn't make my hair feel greasy or heavy as certain other well known Frizz control serums have.

I have hair that has been coloured for years and, inevitably, it can lose shine and texture. I showered and shampooed my hair yesterday and when it came to blow drying I applied this balm to my hair. I noted from another reviewer that only a small amount was needed so squeezed out a tiny bit and rubbed it in my hands and ran through my hair. In texture and smell it was very similar to Argan oil which I have used before on my hair. Then blow dried my hair and was delighted with the result. It really did feel smooth and soft and also much lighter and the friziness had vanished. I'm a big fan of Tigi products having tried many things over the years. This smoothes hair for a frizz free finish before blow drying. You only need the tiniest ammont though. I use a drop about the size of sweet corn kernel ( less than a pea, can't think how else to describe it) and rub the tips of my fingers together to warm it up a bit then simply run/ massage through my hair before blow drying. You really do only need a small amount so it lasts for ages. It can also work on dried hair to tame it if you need to smoothe or add shine but use even less than fir on wet hair. Not sure how such a small amount spreads through the hair but it seems to and I have medium length hair.

CATWALK Blow Out Balm is beautiful to use hair product which is a good purchase and one which will not only leave hair looking and feeling silky smooth but also has the added bonus it can be used both on wet and dry hair.I like to use it prior to blow drying my hair as it leaves my hair looking and feeling silky smooth. I love the fragrance as like all of this brands product they are fragranced of everything that is natural and sweetly fragranced.I would recommend to only use a small dot as it is very rich and a little goes a long, long way.CATWALK Blow Out Balm is a wonderful product and one which leaves hair looking and feeling its best.

I've been using a range of TIGI products for years - and it really is the very best hair product range on the market. The fragrance is fresh and appealing - not too strong but enough to make your hair small lovely.You only need a relatively small amount of the product - it spreads and covers the hair well. Longer and thicker her will obviously need more!If you use all the products in the range...i.e. the shampoo, conditioner, serum, spray etc.. you will have a great professional programme to ensure your hair is glossy, swishy and not frizzy. And best of all, the range is recommended by hairdressers.

It says on the bottle,"Apply product to hands and smooth through hair section by section" but I only used a small amount and I'm glad I did.I was amazed at how it separated every hair so that my hair flowed really smoothly;it's never felt like that before! I've been using a pre-shampoo treatment that you have to apply all over your hair and leave for 10 mins,then rinse off and shampoo.This achieved a better result almost instantly! I'm very impressed;the bottle's not big (90ml) but at the rate I'm using it it will last for ages.

For someone with thick wavy hair on the drier end of the spectrum I have found many products claiming to help tame and smooth your hair but most don't live up to the hype. For me, this did, and even with a large amount of hair I didn't need vast amounts, only a couple of fingertips. Even before I finished drying I could see my hair looked and felt smoother. Overall lovely product and my hair kept its straight for almost 3 days without looking heavy or dull. Oh and like all tigi it smells divine!

Having very thick and coarse hair and a lot of it also with a tendency to frizz, blowdrying my hair even at a salon would always result in finishing off with straighteners. I couldn't even find my nozzle for my hairdryer, so I just tried it out and I am quite blown away. My hair is soft, swishy and without and frizz - no need for straighteners! I cannot wait to experiment with a round brush, instead of a paddle brush, to get a bit of a curl at the ends. A wonder product!

I love this product a lot and I'm hard to please! I have very fine, long hair and it's a source of constant dissatisfaction to me how unhealthy it looks much of the time. However, this blow-out balm manages to control the frizz and retains my blow dry without adding weight. I don't even have to wash my hair every day now as this keeps it looking well styled and in good condition - I'm absolutely blown-away (see what I did there!)

In my opinion all Tigi products are fabulous - the hairdresser I have used for years swears by them too.This balm is perfect for heat protection - TIGI claim up to 450degrees - so if you regularly use straighteners or curling irons this product is a must.I have found that I only need a little - which is easy to work through to the ends - so quite economical in the long run too.Highly recommended product.

I don't have glossy hair as I bleach it, but it looked really good after blow drying with this product in a polished kind of a way. I often get flyaway hair after blow drying, but this calmed it right down. I just used a small amount and spread it through my towel dried hair before blow drying as usual. I also used a volumising product before hand and a spritz of hairspray afterwards just to keep it in place.

This balm looks super stylish in its classy packaging and smells amazing too. Tigi is well known to be a high end hair product and this little balm lives up to its expectations. It is silky smooth, like a serum and really helps tame frizzy locks. On top of this it has heat protection giving you peace of mind when using your hair dryer and straighteners.
