Perfect gift for any tea lover and Star Wars fan, it's a lot bigger than I expected but that is a good thing other teapots only hold enough for one or two small cups this holds enough for three or four mugs, the size also makes it easier to clean, plenty of room with the lid off to give it a good wipe inside whereas a lot of teapots are too small and awkward to clean. It is also a good weight, not at all flimsy and feels very solid and sturdy without being too heavy to use. The pictures do make it look white but it is more of a grey finish but I think it looks better like that and while it does have a slightly glossy surface it's not as shiney as the pictures make it look.

A great little addition to the kitchen. I couldn't think of any reason not to give it a full 5 stars: it looks cool with a good print job, the lid has a stick-out tab to prevent it falling off when pouring with one hand and it pours very well regardless of the absence of an air hole in the lid.I'm the only hot beverage drinker in the home so I don't fill it to the brim, just two standard mugs worth are enough for me although you can easily get 3 or 4 out of it or even 5 if filled to the top. But as with any teapot, take care when pouring if it's full, and always pour slowly regardless of how full it is.It's easy to clean too, has a nice big handle and seems a quality build.

I adore my "R2-Tea-2", as do my geeky guests, when I pour him for them :-) He does roughly three standard sized mugs of tea, which is enough for me, plus two guests, which works perfectly. It is 1000ml aka one litre in capacity.However, I must urge that you all be very, very careful with the placement of your fingers, because there is very little protection from heat on this little android, for us humans! I have attached a very-bad-MSPaint-job diagram to demonstrate the danger zones, for those of us not One With The Force and unable to sense such things.Also, the price is a bit dear, unless you find it second-hand.

Not the best pour from this, but come on, it looks like R2-D2! Just don’t overfill; it comes out of the lid. (Although I quite like when this happens, as it reminds me of my favourite little astro droid spewing out swamp water in Return of the Jedi).I guess it’s working out where your priorities lie; if you want a perfectly functional teapot, move on. If you want a really cute looking teapot that leaves a few spots of tea on the worktop, but RESEMBLES R2-D2, well, BEEP BEEP BEEP CHIRP CHIRP!

A good sized traditional shaped teapot with R2D2 stylised decorations. Nice pourer (it hasn’t dribbled so far). Only complaint is the lid doesn’t have a vent hole as found on most teapots so with the flanged lid it can collect condensation.

The product was excellent, however there was nothing to suggest there was an £11 import/postage charge. In fairness Amazon did refund this for us.Lovely ceramic gift for a Star Wars adult fan.

As others have said, more pale grey than white but it is cute.The spout is narrow, and no air hole in it, so its a good idea to lift the lid slightly before pouring and pour slow.

Perfect gift for a Star Wars and cuppa loving friend. Looks great and high quality finish. Very pleased with this. Arrived promptly and well in time for a Christmas gift.

Awesome looking teapot, I have brought it as a gift so I can't say how good a cup of tea it makes, but it looks great, any fan of tea and Star Wars would love it!

Excellent quality . Vibrant colors . A solid teapot . Much bigger than I expected . Thought it would take 1 cup , takes approximately 3 .
