This toolbox is ideal for the amateur DIY’er, it has enough room to house plenty of screwdrivers, spanners etc, as well as the odd bulkier tool such as a hammer & Mole Grips. When full (which mine is) it is very heavy, but its built well enough that you don’t think it will fall apart. The only annoying thing about this toolbox is the removable organisers which are located on the lid. When they are full of nuts, bolts & screws they become a little heavy and the small clips holding them in place aren’t really good enough, so when you open the lid, one or both fall off, sometimes scattering nuts & bolts all over the floor. To prevent this happening, I try to lean the lid against a wall or something to prevent the organisers fall off, hence the 4 stars. If this didn't happen, I would award 5 stars.Overall this is a good quality toolbox, I don’t have a massive amount of tools so suits my need perfectly and I would recommend it to most DIY’ers.

Delighted with this item, well made and fitted the space I had available in the cupboard perfectly. I got all the tools that were in my old toolbox in it, plus a few loose ones, with room for more if I should need it. I recommend this product for the occasional do it your selfer, keeps everything you need for those odd jobs neatly in the one place. . Somebody in one of the other reviews said they had saw this toolbox in Wilkins for a cheaper price but that is not the same design as this one. Tote tray is very secure and spacious, top compartments, slide out if you want to take just them to the job rather than the whole toolbox..The top is slightly wider than the bottom, which seems to have misled some people,as regards to how big this toolbox is but I think that is obvious from the images of it and the internal dimensions have been specified on here in another review by a thoughtful buyer, for those who want exact measurements...

Originally I ordered the 16" for my son as his first Tool Box. He loved it. For ideas for Christmas, my husband said a Tool box. As his name is Stanley I thought appropriate' Did not think the 22" would be much bigger but it is. I suppose I didn't think much about it really. Being a mans toy I suppose. I told my husband I ordered the wrong size BUT he loves it. He has lots of tools scattered all over the garage in little bags, plastic bags, boxes etc but now he can keep them all together. Very strong, sturdy and the colouring stands out to find it easier. Only advice, make sure you pick the correct size when ordering. Unless you have loads of tools or a handyman, this size too big for a beginner.Luckily for me it was perfect. My husband loves it and said it is the right size. Good product

Bought this to use for my day to day DIY equipment. Great removable sections in the lid for screws/nails and bits etc. Plenty of room inside for my cordless drill/driver screwdriver set, spare battery and the removable tray is great for those little items like a tape, spirit level, rawlplugs, knife etc. Would recommend for general DIY usage. I have loaded it up already, and the only downside is that when you take out the tray and some heavier gear to get to the drill etc in the bottom, the lid, (full of bits, screws and nails) is heavier than the base, so the box tends to tip over. But then again, what can you expect from a lightweight box. Oh and yes, I would buy another if I needed it.Great quality.

It's amazing how, over the years, tools and bits & bobs accumulate. I have a lovely leather clad attache-case style box, plus I have another deep plastic box into which all and sundry disappear with ease....seemingly never to be found again!Having had several tools just laying in my home office for some time to complete odd jobs I thought about time to resolve the storeage problem. This case is a good size and I like the little compartments for screws, nails and the like. One of the compartments also has the ability to accept screwdriver bits etc for power tools. The clasps to secure the lid are robust and secure and the inner tray will be useful for the smaller tools.

Tools box from Stanley for that price? Well...it's true! The box is big and really deep inside. There is a plenty of room for our stuff. And the little drawers on the top are really helpful too. But we need to be really careful as they like too fell off by itself. One thing that disappointed me a little was that the cover won't open to the end. It stops on 90 degrees and thats all, You can't open it wider. When to box is empty it just fell off, because the cover is heavy itself, but with stuff inside it, there is no chance for box to fell off.Great stuff for that price!

The toolbox is big and made from heavy duty plastic which looks resilient enough to scratches etc.The box offers multiple modular storage boxes for screws and small tools, these storage boxes can be slid out for convenience. One of these boxes actually started to split along the seem which I was quite disappointed about, hence the 4 stars and not the 5.A tray is also included inside the toolbox which offers plenty of space. The latches are very high quality and look strong enough to last.Overall its a great box with plenty of space and options.

A decent looking box for home use, solid build, sturdy handle for carrying, extra compartments for screws and nails on the lid, additional tray inside for more storage, nifty design that closes in securely, been using it for a while now & can't fault it, price is also reasonable, hence recommended. My unit has got scratches all around inside the box but can't be bothered to send it back albeit not very happy with the seller on this, or it could be an isolated incident, though product itself is a quality one.

A great size to take my 40cm long knitting needles and the 'bits ' boxes on top are great for accessories, pins, cabling needles, tape measures etc that you need to hand and can see where they are. Large stitch holders & crochet hooks need to go on the tray inside with my mini sewing kit, but there's still space for 7 balls of wool in there too. A bit annoying the formed screw bit holder top centre is integral, but I guess Stanley didn't really have knitting in mind when they designed this! ?

I bought this to keep all my knitting things together. Perfect. Big enough and long enough for all my knitting needles, thread, boxes used for buttons and beads, everything in one place. Bottom section big enough for all my embroidery thread boxes, and knitting needles, and everything organised. Sturdy box as you would expect, so a great alternative to an expensive sewing/knitting storage box.Arrived next day.Very happy customer as I now only have one box out when sewing and knitting.

I needed a couple of straight-forward toolboxes with no particular frills - one for some remote property renovation work & another for a few car maintenance tools, when fixing a friends car at another property. I have read some of the reviews & I did not expect my pet elephant to be able to stand on a lump of plastic that cost £10, or that the catches would not last out the next century or so, but these toolboxes are such great value for money I bought another two of them.

The Stanley toolbox is very robust and has plenty of storage space. The storage lids on the top of the box are useful for screws, nails and items like that and when you open the box to access any tools the lids don't seem as though they are about to spill all those screws and nails etc over the floor! Below the lift out shelf there is plenty of space to store a lot of tools. Compared to many other boxes I have looked at this is by far the best and at a very good price.

I have been looking round for a fishing box but all too expensive. When I got my eye on this I thought just the job at half the price. Its brilliant to put all my bits and bobs in hook, beads swivels and more in the top of the box.knife and other things in the next compartment all all the rest in the bottom. Its easy to clean, not heavy to carry and strong locks to keep it all safejust the job

26.5 x 49.5 x 26.5 cm plastic toolbox with with cantilever storage system. Well thought out tool box that maximizes storage and gives easy access to items stored on all levels. Additional storage compartments in the lid. Metal latches. Lightweight - weighs only 2.3kg. Not sure how durable the pivot system will be as it is only plastic, but am only using the cantilever shelves for light items

I don't have a lot of things, a set of screws a hammer and few other tools for DIY works. Well if you put all very carefully inside in perfect order the toolbox can accommodate all but to they call it jumbo and maybe is too much.Once is loaded the handle feel solid so, overall is a nice little tool box. If you have more sizes of hammers etc I think you should look for something bigger.
