I'm not going to bother writing a detailed report; I just wanted to point out that this microphone stand is very useful for simple recording purposes. My microphone clip screwed on effortlessly and the stand is sturdy. One criticism I have, however, is that when tilting the microphone stand (at full stretch) to angles more extreme than in its upright position the legs of the stand can tend to hover off the ground very slightly. I suppose this is simply due to it being a budget stand, as with higher quality stands this is not an issue. Aside from this problem the item works well and arrived in perfect condition.

I like it. I really do. Very much though, this is a studio piece of equipment. Set it up, leave it alone, and it will do its job admirably. Take it on stage with you, and it will fall over like a drunk at last orders. This is because the legs don't fold out flat enough. It looks very good too - far better than the price tag would suggest. To be honest, I'm glad it wasn't any cheaper. This is just on the correct side of being as cheap as it can whilst still performing its "job" - much further the wrong way down the scale, and it wouldn't.I'd recommend this stand for anyone working with polite, studio musicians.

My daughter had been looking for a stand for her condenser microphone, I didn't want to spend too much so this was excellent value. You can probably buy better quality ones for more money but if you just want a basic stand, this should do the trick. My daughter plays the guitar (doesn't sing) and wanted an adjustable stand so she could sit or stand with the mike at the appropriate level. Delivery was fairly quick and although the box was a bit battered when it arrived, the stand wasn't damaged. All in all, very pleased with the purchase

I was skeptical from the low price, but when they arrived I had two chunky sturdy mic stands. Not the sort of thin metal ones we have broken so often in the rehearsal room that are £20 plus from a shop. I got my girlfriend a rode NT1 mic kit for christmas and this stand holds it perfectly. I like the metal bar adjustment in the middle, really tight. If you are in need of mic stands, why pay more. These fit the bill perfectly and are made to last. Nice details like the cable holder and tight adjusters.

This may be a case of you get what you pay for. The stand is exceptional for the price. I only have one small niggle in that it doesn't always stay exactly where I want it. Sometimes it will sink when mounted with a large diaphragm condenser mic no matter how much i adjust it. However, after messing with it's several adjustable fixtures, I can make it work. Perfect budget item but if you're looking for high spec this obviously isn't the product for you!

It arrived fast, complete with two microphone holders. NB This stand is VERY LIGHT - I'm used to heavier stands (which can take punishment and can be thrown around rock 'n roll stylee). However it doesn't fall down, the boom clamp is good and generally does the job. The bonus of lightweight is well, light weight - it remains to be seen if it is tough enough for gigging.

A pretty solid construction. I used this with my Samson CO1U mic with shock mount and pop filter. Mounting the mic upside down, and with all these attachments, I couldn't extend the boom much without it toppling over, with the final position having the boom pointing in an upwards direction. The only criticism would be to have a wider and heavier base.

This is generally a good quality microphone stand. However, my microphone is a bit too heavy for it, which causes it to topple over. If I weigh it down with some sandbags, there aren't any problems. It's more of a fault of my microphone, rather than the stand. However, beware if you do have quite a heavy microphone.

Not the sturdiest on this planet, but it does what it should: holds a mic. Now for this price is just great, I wish it was a bit taller to let me hang the mic from above while I'm standing with a mic booth in front of me, instead I have to keep the vertical rod just in front of me, not easy to set up that way.

Amazing stand, sturdy and made for heavy duty use. Holds microphone in place well and can be adjusted many ways to suit your needs. If you need a cheap stand but want a quality product, I recommend this. I will also add that I haven't had the problem where the microphone topples over because of the center.

I do have a liking for Stagg gear and this stand is no exception. With metal construction all through it feels solid and should last a long time, even with the abuse that these things get. Doesn't feel at all like it was one of the cheapest I could find anywhere. Bargain.

It does what its supposed to OK the only draw back is that it is quite a bit lighter than expected. A bag of sand may be needed to weight down in certain gigs, However it comes with good attachments that exceeded my expectations and its very low cost of course.

Perfect height for everything that isn't standing up.Easily adjustable and stable with all manner of microphones.Great for recording acoustic guitars or anything you play sitting down , slim profile to easily get out of the way when not in use.

Came way before expected and value for money. This microphone stand does not come with microphone clips that wasn't a problem for me I already had them with a previously purchased microphone kit. Would recommend this product.

Well built and sturdy as you would expect from a Stagg product. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use it, make sure to check the size of your microphone shock mount (for recording / studio mics). Does come with a holder though.
