I bought a pair of these mci stands so that I could have a acoustic recording set-up in my bedroom: an existing chord mic stand supporting my SE Electronics SE2200a mk2, one of these stands supporting a Rode NT-1A and the other supporting an SE Electronics SE-X1. It is by no means a fancy outfit but these two stands do the job admirably.As a designer, I appreciate the truly well-made things in life but I can be a tight-fisted a*se and it is fair to say that these are not particularly well-made. These are cheap, cheerful and useful in the studio when you just set it up and leave them alone. They even come with a cable clip each! For stage use, you're better off looking elsewhere.

This may be a case of you get what you pay for. The stand is exceptional for the price. I only have one small niggle in that it doesn't always stay exactly where I want it. Sometimes it will sink when mounted with a large diaphragm condenser mic no matter how much i adjust it. However, after messing with it's several adjustable fixtures, I can make it work. Perfect budget item but if you're looking for high spec this obviously isn't the product for you!

I've been using this stand for a few months now at home for my condenser microphone which weighs about a kilogram. It's brilliant value for money and does the job perfectly. It can reach very far and is perfect for recording in awkward angles and is also good for recording vocals when stood up. A great all-rounder and I recommend it for anyone using it live, in the studio or at home with their DAW

Very solid product, sturdy and obviously adjustable. The only bad thing i can find about this is that the adjusting screws are EXTREMELY tight, we had to use heavy tools to open them at first, and even now they are still a bit stuff (hurts your hands!). I'd reccommend Stagg, but look for something a bit more pricey with ergonomic adjusting screws.

I bought a new microphone to mic-up my amplifiers through a PA system and just needed an inexpensive stand - not weighted, not extra special; just a common or garden good value microphone stand that would sit behind me on stage and point the mic at the speaker cabinet..Why pay three times as much when you can get one like this??

Bought to replace broken stagg stand. On its own its a good stand but i feel it is not quite like the old one. In particular the folding legs keep working loose and swing everywhere when carrying. But generally a good stand

This item is excellent.I've bought many mic stands in the past. You know when you but a Stagg product that you're getting quality. Its solid, its ideal for varying the height, its a great price.Its all you'll ever need.

Bought this stand and it works perfectly. Its well balanced and packs up and assembles quickly. The mic holder is tight and secure and definitely trustworthy to hold an expensive mic. Overall great value and good quality.

This is an amazing microphone stand yet there is only one thing wrong with it. When every nut and bolt is as tight as it possibly can the stand will still swivel left or right. Other than that I rate this 4*.

just unpacked this and it's great for the money! even got 2 mike holders in the parcel and a carry bag all for under £10.00. Thanks for the item and it arrived a week earlier than expected as well!

This stand just arrived, quick delivery!It feels really sturdy and decent but the box cam with a rip in it and the stand has quite a few scratches down it, however.. It feels like a decent stand

This is a very solid stand for the price. Ok it isn't as well built as top line products but it is more than adequate for home use and should stand up well to gigging and doesn't cost the earth.

The stand was bought for my husband. It is well made and easy to use.The only thing is that he had to fix a mic attachment to the stand.Would recommend this product.

Would be better if the boom arm was a bit longer but can't complain; does its job and was good value. Would recommend for beginners and amateurs like me.
