An indsutry standard, with the same design and construction quality as the K&M "Topline" (210...) range, it's functional and well able to survive the usual studio and gig abuse. Tripod design and base weight give it great stability, even with the boom arm fully extended and carrying a range of mics including the usual Shure SM57,58, suspension mounts and various condensers. The boom hasn't distorted and the wing-nut joint has kept the boom in place in spite of heavy vibration.I've used it successfully to mic up my Marshall amp, both acoustic guitar and anglo-concertina when seated. The centre post on mine, looks a little shorter than the illustration, but you can easily position a mic, with it's centre 72cms off the ground when the boom is at an angle of 50 degrees from horizontal. And to about 85cms if you use the 130mm extenstion tube (part# 6-23200-3-55) from the table top mic stand (23200-300-55). Interchanging K&M parts can give quite a bit of flexibilty. And since the tripod base will easily fit into 40x40cms space you can also use this on a desktop or worktop.

I guess this is a fully fledged metal base for a standard height microphone stand.I bought this version (23320) to be used as an adjustable table mic stand for heavy mics. There is no way in hell that this stand could be knocked over by accident when used with the provided vertical screw in pole unless you try to mount something way too heavy.I’m using it with a Blue Reactor condenser mic (heavy mic) with no problems at all. The metal base has a rubber insert running around the circumference of the contact surface that works a treat.I might buy an ever shorter screw in pole to get the mic even lower (closer to the desk)If you want a tabletop mic stand or bass drum mic stand that isn’t going to fall over no matter what mic is attached to it,this is the one to getDiameter just under 25cm

Rugged, durable and fit for purpose; Available spare parts, interchangeable parts and a wide range of accessories; all make these stands a long term investment and so real value for money. And they keep their price second-handJust remember a mic clip is not usually included with a stand, and the mic clip fitting is a legacy/inherited 3/8" thread and not 5/8". If your mic clip/mic holder uses a 5/8" thread make sure it comes with a 3/8 thread adapter - or buy one. Finally I have stands with either 't-bar' and 'giant' wing-nut fittings to tighten the adjustable joint for the mic boom. The t-bar is just a tad easier to use if you have any kind of difficulty with your grip.Try them both before purchase if you can.

I’m a pro guitarist/vocalist and have just buggered up my second Hercules stand in the last 12 years.I did a quick internet search and decided on this telescopic boom , and telescopic stand. It arrived promptly and is robust. . Much thinner than my previous stands , but with these things it’s usually the fittings and adapters that eventually give up the ghost rather than the tubing.I haven’t gigged it yet , but it does seem to be a little bit more versatile, I’m really happy with the angles and fine adjustments . . .Time will tell . . .it also takes a Tc helicon performer quite easily on the tubing ?

I received this stand reasonably fast, coming at the start of its estimated time. I was pleasantly surprised with it when opened. After finally positioning it correctly, it proved to be very comfortable rested on the floor. My microphone (Rode NT-USB) screwed on nicely and it seems like a very good stand.PROSSturdy and strongLightweightCONSA bit confusing on how to position the mic at the right height. Maybe have a clear diagram/picture?

This is a good quality microphone stand. I did buy a cheap one as a 'get me by' , but the difference in stability and quality of construction of this stand is far superior. Yes it did cost a lot more but I think it was well worth the money. If you can afford to pay that bit extra , it would be money well spent. Konig and Meyer are a good make. I have been more than impressed with this stand so much so that I have purchased a second one.

This is the best mic stand I've ever had (and I've had quite a few!). K&M are always superb quality (all my old K&M stands are still working where other makes have failed). This one folds down nice and small but is rock solid when opened up. The adjustable boom gives great flexibility of use especially if you have limited space on stage. These stands are worth every penny.

I needed a new mic stand as the one i had previously ordered on ebay broke (quite easily). I wanted to ensure i had a good quality stand this time and this is exactly what I got. Cannot fault it. My advice - don't buy cheap alternatives - it is better in the long run. This is a very sturdy mic stand and very easy to adjust. I would definitely recommend this product.

Ordered this after reading some reviews because i do have a cheaper one but the problem i found was that the boom would drop with the weight of the microphone, now the new one might cost a lot more but the extra cost shows in this german built stand, well built, sturdy and will last a lifetime, you might pay more but this is worth every penny,

Definitely one of the best microphone stands that I own. Everything does what it should reliably, it is weighty and feels as if it won't break easily, the stability is excellent. I bought the chrome version to provide a bit of bling if using retro mics and being convertible means that it has many uses. All this at a reasonable price.

I used to buy the forerunner of these K&M stands about 20 years ago.. And they were always bulletproof. This is great value for money but seems cheaper and less sturdy. Granted for my purpose it is fine, bit not sure how long this modwl would last in a studio environment with daily use and heavy mics.

K&M are the gold standard for mic stands in my opinion. Solid German engineering, and should something break through abuse (can't see it happening in normal use), they sell all the component parts as spares! Cost a little more than other mic stands but worth it. They will last a lifetime.

K&M stands are very robust, easily adjusted and very stable. The fact that spare parts are available is a huge bonus meaning that even an old stand can be resurrected. They are more expensive than the cheapest but they will easily repay the extra cost in longevity.

I have had other products over the years but after buying this, I fell in love with it immediately. It is very well built (as expected from a german make). I am thinking of buying another one very soon. Love it!

You get what you pay for. These are really good value stands - they last forever basically! You can get cheaper stands but the quality is just not the same.
