After reading other reviews of different shockmounts, I decided to buy this because I knew it would securely fit with my Shure microphone. The microphone screws nicely into this mount. However, other shockmounts are definitely cheaper and likely just as effective (as long as they can securely hold your Shure mic). One nice feature is that this mount interferes the least with access to the microphone. With my Shure USB mic, this allows me easy access to the headphone jack and gain controls, a definite plus.

I use this for my green bullet mic, and it works awesome. I use the GB for vocals to give it a dirty effect and this shock mount is the only thing that holds it decent. The price could be lower though, I feel that its pretty expensive. had I found another mount for cheaper I would have gone with that.

I bought this shock mount for my Shure KSM27 to replace my old, no-name brand shock mount. This one is way better and much sturdier. It does the job very well. Although I'm happy with my purchase, the price seems too high and that's why I give it 4 stars.

I needed one and it fit everything perfectly. I think the price is a bit much, but the Amazon price is about the best you get on this item. Since I had a KSM27 missing this shock mount, this put it back in action. Good unit for one of my favorite mikes.

If you check out Shure's page, there's a forum regarding the Green Bullet mic that has no place on it to truly mount it on a stand but this thing does the trick as you can see in the forum.

Great mount, works as advertized and keeps my mic shock free. Not that I move it around that often but it gives my mic setup a much more professional look.

Using this for my old PG-42 and works perfectly. Same type as the one you get when you buy the product itself. Packing was well bubble-wrapped.

Works as it should... but I hate paying such a premium to just be able to hold this mic in place.
