This item seems good. Found it annoying to open as it was completely covered in some kind of annoying sticky tape which I couldn't get off for ages to even open the lid. It tore the labelling at the front a little and completely removed the labelling at the back. The lead does seem strong and writes quite softly which is what I prefer. Sometimes when I'm writing or journalling I prefer to use a soft pencil which is why I ordered this lead to go in a mechanical pencil as they last much longer than standard pencils and don't break very easily at all. It also saves the messiness of pencil sharpening!! I recieved 13 pieces of lead in this pack and they all came complete with no breakages which I was pleased about.

I had a pack of the Papermate triangular mechanical pencils; however they did not come with any lead refills. After extensive searching, I found these. They are the right size for the Papermates. However I do feel the product is highly overpriced for what it is. For lack of choice, this is an adequate product, however in future, I shall probably ask any friends/family who are travelling from abroad to bring over a few packs of 1.3mm leads which are certainly available at much cheaper rates in the USA or the East.

I bought these to fit with my Staedler Mars micro pencil. All the leads were whole on receipt. These are 2B and produce an appropriate soft line that is relatively easy to erase. They don't appear especially fragile for 2B leads. I would purchase again.

Just what I needed. My elderly mother wanted an easy-to-grip pencil. We found the pencils on sale locally at a number of supermarkets, but nowhere round here sells replacement leads of this size. They arrived safely, in a little storage pot as shown.

Perfect! Nice smooth gliding on paper with stronger/darker ink mark than the scratchy AB. I only push enough of the lead out for one press of the mechanical pencil to minimise breakage. Works perfect for me. Definitely recommend!

I was advised that these hard pencil refills would tear the paper but actually, they are perfect. Nice and hard so that the 'lead' lasts a long time before you have to feed more. A bit difficult to erase but well worth it.

These are good leads. They seem to be quite strong and don't break too easily, which is an issue I have often had with other leads. They make a good bold line.

The refill came quickly, non of the leads were broken there were 6 in there and they fit perfectly in the mechanical pencils for my kids. Nice and thick leads.

Excellent product .Recommended to any professional or amateur draughtsman Consistent quality and density of tone.Smooth application. Found first in Australia.

I sketch a lot, this is an essential tool for that job. The leads survive the daily commute surprisingly well, but I also keep a box at work.

These leads are fine they work in the mechanical pencils I wanted them forQuite a nice little container easy to keep and keep things tidy

These are the best brand of mechanical pencil leads I have used, and in my opinion worth paying the extra for over cheap leads.

Good price and amount, but the lid doesn't stay on so well, had to use tape to secure it. Other than that all good.

What I expected, any more to be said on pencil leads? Nah, I think not. Alright, would buy again, Yay pencils
