Liquid Games' `Sprint Car Challenge' is, surprisingly, perhaps the only racing game mainly focused on sprint cars to be released on the Sony Play-Station Two. The box-lid artwork looks exciting, and a major video game retail chain had priced a pre-owned copy of the game at just 49p. For a Sony Play-Station Two owner who is willing to give up 97kb of their memory card space for a game of dangerous and exciting pedal-to-the-metal racing, the purchase of this game would seem like a `no-brainer.' However, `extreme caution is advised' to any reader of this review.There is a combination of problems that make this game seem like a rip off, even if the cost is 49p!

Absolutely terrible. Was very excited about purchasing this title and was really let down. The designers of this game have clearly never been near a sprintcar nor has anyone involved in sprintcars been consulted in the games development. Game play is weak and physics are totally unlike a sprintcar.If you are looking for a realistic American style speedway game steer clear of this and purchase either World of Outlaws Sprintcars or Stock Car Speedway.
