This is a very cool piece of kit for around age 8. If you don’t have the patience to sit and tie threads together to try and make friendship bracelets then you will love this.You can make really cool intricate bracelets and necklaces in minutes. Simply pick out your colours or use the enclosed booklet as a guide which has example photos of bracelets you can make to get you going. Pop in your threads and attach to the top arm, then spin the wheel.It can be a tiny bit fiddly to get the threads all in and set up but once everything is attached, you spin the wheel and the arm raises up to show the amazing friendship bracelet you are making.

I like to make bracelets, kumihimo and macrame, beaded with miyuki or wooden beads. Lately I decided to have a pass on the kumihimo ones as they took so much time to make and the other ones were faster. Now, I'm only making kumihimo with this gadget. I have finished the threads provided and now using my own. I think I made like 6 necklaces in one day until I stopped because my hand got tired from all the spinning. Even so, still worth it.Oh, almost forgot,at first the spinning thing would not go as smooth as you see in their video and it got stuck every few spins. The problem stopped once I started using my own thread(embroidery floss) and has not happened since, or perhaps the reason was other.

This is a great idea and extremely easy to use. The possibilities for different colours and designs are massive, given the wide range string sets available. Also unlike some, the additional string is quite reasonably priced. I initially thought this would get shoved at the back of the cupboard after all the strings had been used, but my daughter loves it and has already ordered more to keep her going! My only criticism is that you do get quite a bit of wasted string at the end depending on what size bracelet you're making - and as you have to unwind the remaining string to cut it to size there's no way of putting it back on the spools.

Overall, this is a great creative toy for young girls. You can let their colour mixing imagination go wild with the vast choice of threads the machine offers.Lauren is a little under the age 8 that they recommend and she did struggle on her own initially. A few goes at it and she was ok but couldn't do the terminations because they can be a fiddle.It keeps her entertained for about 30 mins at a time but she goes back to it a few days later. Overall, the amount of use you get for the cost of it is great. An ideal birthday/christmas gift.

I bought this for my daughter as she had mentioned months before Christmas that she would really like one. Really cool little item and she was thrilled to get it for Christmas. Quite solid construction albeit 99% plastic but it was easy to use and didn't require any assistance from an adult. For the money though I wish they had supplied for thread bobbin. The refills are around £13 So I'm hoping she saves her money to buy more bobbin in the future otherwise this will have been a one hit wonder.

Gave this to my 10yr old granddaughter and she loves it.We were impressed with the plastic case inside which folds in half to keep all the threads & little bits all safe.At first it seemed a bit fiddly getting the threads in the correct place.Once we had done it the first time then it was so much easier the next time.The stickers & clips need to be put on properly to keep the ends together before putting the finishing Clasps on.Great idea & you can buy extra threads etc at a reasonable price.

My 8 and 10 year old really enjoyed playing with this. Relatively simple to set up and get going although as with all toys of this type the first and second bracelets are more of a learning exercise than anything. Once you get going it kept them amused for hours making bracelets for mum, dad, little brother, grandparents and all their friends. There is a good selection of colours to choose from but once the favourites had disappeared interest started to die off. They definitely enjoyed it.

A great set which will inspire any young one to begin crafting, this set has everything you’ll need to get going, 60 spools of string in 5 colours, 2 design booklets, plus clasps and a lot more,The set will allow you to make 5 bracelets and 2 necklaces, but you can buy the string etc to make more.Its very easy to use, took a little while to set up and then we were off, with extra string you can make what ever colour and combination you want.A great gift, looks great in the box.

My daughters were very excited to get started making their bracelets with the Cool Maker Kumi Kreator set! We followed the clear instructions to set it up and once you have made one bracelet it becomes easier each time you do it. It’s great fun and I like the fact you don’t even need to use batteries! It’s a good quality product and I think any girls of this age group would love this set!! I would definitely recommend it to others thinking about buying it.

My girls are 8 and 10 and love creating things and using their imagination so this product is perfect for them. Relatively easy to set up (adult help required) clear and detailed instructions included. Nice colours to choose from and enough thread to make bracelets for their friends. Kept my girls busy and intrigued for longer than some other similar products we've had. All in all highly recommended by my girls who are now expert bracelet makers!

I love getting kids presents that involve them making things and using their creativity. This bracelet-making pack fits the bill perfectly. It is easy to use, with reasonable instructions and lots of thread to start you off (although we have found that we are already running out of some colours!)It seems quite reasonably priced for what you get in the pack, and my instinct is that it will have real longevity in our household. Recommended!

My 8 years old daughter bought it to herself from her Christmas money. Not just it is in a best price on the market ( toy shop has on self double price) but a very good creative toy. Easy to use. After a couple of bracelet you are just hooked. On the first day she used all of the yarn but after we found out we could replace it with strings and wools too. Very good set to make present, or just make for yourself. Best buy of the year for us.

This Kumikreator product arrived well packaged and promptly as expected by amazon.The product itself was immediately loved by my daughter. We took it out the box and it needed an adult to help setup and work out what and how to do things. Once I made a couple of attempts it was dead easy and helped my daughter work it out. She was soon off on her own make them!Lots of fun and nice girly creative item. Would recommend.

My daughter (11 years old) managed this mostly by herself with some supervision.Good quality well presented kit.Quite involved - my daughter took 20 minutes to set up the machine,15 mins making and removing and 10 mins to fix clasp and remove spool.Unless spares are available I don't know how useful the kit is once the thread/clasps have been used up - although there are enough for ten bracelets.

My 10 year old has had a lot of this kind of thing in the past and always ended up disappointed . Not this time! Easy to set up with clear instructions and everything you need to make a bracelet for all your friends. What she especially liked was that there are proper clasps to finish them off, all too often it's some kind of knot which seems to fail miserably! All in all she was very pleased .
