It seems to have become increasingly difficult in the past few years to get decent mouse mats. Perhaps because so many now use Laptop computers and track pads and not mice. The one I had been using prior to the purchase of this was actually a free promotional one from where I once worked but was rubber (not felt backed) and vinyl not cloth topped.It was great.But recently It began to deteriorate, and I must have gone through 10 or more replacements. From the cheap bought from a pound shop to ones I have got from a well known stationers to ones I have bought from Amazon.They all failed because the top service was terrible to use with an laser optical mouse,

I bought this mousepad in January of 2013 to go with my new iMac, as with a lot of these comments, i bought it as a novelty and enjoyed the concept. I am only now looking to replace it, and not due to any fault to it at all, only due to my own clumsiness at staining the mousepad in a move. The mousepad it comical but it is fantastic at its job. It is non slip and works very well with the magic mouse - as well as not letting dirt build up under the mouse which was a problem for me before i bought it. Mine has started fraying, but in all fairness it is 2 years old and has survived 4 house moves (university), countless cleanings and constant use.

excellent mouse pad,works very well but unfortunately its already starting to fray around the edges,don't think this makes much difference to its performance but it would be nice if edges were sealed to stop this happening.Overall,good value of money.

I bought this because the design made me smile the mat is very nice soft and works a treat with my new mouse. Although after only a few weeks it has started to fray around one edge. But at that price you could just get another.

Lovely mouse pad, very thin. The image is very clear and the mouse moves well on it. Will buy it again.

Practical size and non-slip. Looks good and is an interesting addition to the Mac set-up on the desk.
