This mouse mat is really great. It's extremely thin which means it doesn't catch on your wrist and the texture is incredibly smooth with a very fine weave. My mouse glides easier on this mouse mat than on any of the other gaming mouse mats I've owned including the previous Razer Goliath which had a much larger weave and was also much thicker than this. The texture is very smooth to the touch almost like neoprene fabric but due to the mouse mats thinness it feels much more solid with it taking on the rigidity of the tabletop you place it on. That is to say it doesn't feel spongy and doesn't depress at all when you apply pressure. This gives it the feeling of using your mouse directly on a tabletop surface while retaining the high degree of smoothness that the fabric texture provides. Before I received it I wondered if it would stick to a table top well enough to not slide around when used and I found not only does it stick brilliantly but even better than the much larger mouse mats I've owned in the past. This mouse mat is intended for mobile users who perhaps want to game with a dedicated mouse next to their laptop. And because of that it's a bit smaller than normal gamer mouse mats. For me it's about 7.5x the area of my mouse (Razer Mamba) which gives me full motion without needing to go off the mat. It's still a little bit larger than the generic mouse mats you'd find in most electronic stores though.I would not hesitate to recommend this mouse mat I think it's brilliant, best one I've tried yet. The combination of its 1.5mm thickness and ultra smooth top texture with grippy rubber underlay makes it essentially a perfect product, I wouldn't change anything about its design, it's faultless.

Bought two of the Razer Sphex V2 mini and one Standard and until now it's been doing the job just fine.Keep in mind this review is not directed to gamers. It is a very low profile mouse pad and extremely thin. My main idea was to have something that would be better than just the desk surface to use the mouse but did not require much space and / or block the movement of all my other accessories including the keyboard as I work with video editing / grading and photography and most of my time I have a Razer Tartarus V2 and a Elgato Stream deck to use with macros, and lens / sd cards etc around so I needed the extra space to move this stuff around without compromising the position of the mouse pador having it blocking the way.It stuck really nice on the desk and can easily be washed with water to remove the dust and get the adhesive base layer back. The surface is a bit rough compared to gaming or general mouse pads but I suppose it was necessary. Doesn't annoy me at all as it's not that rough to the point it would hurt my wrist. Can't speak for gamers as I don't play FPS games that can be very demand.Using with the Roccat Kiro and the Logitech G203 it worked just fine, didn't feel any struggle while adjusting sliders on Lightroom / DaVinci Resolve nor it ever get stuck suddenly or fail like it can happen with some low quality mouse pads.Just be aware if you drag anything on top of the Razer Logo on the right side of the mouse pad you might move it out of place as it's the only part of it that doesn't stick to the table. If you are a content creator like me and have lot's of stuff around your table (lens, sd cards etc) I strongly recommend it.

I took a risk buying this considering other reviewers were complaining that it wasn’t sitting flush on their table or that they had uneven lightning zones... however, mine arrived perfect! The two pictures you can see above were taken hours after taking it out the box. The mat sits completely flat on my desk and hasn’t developed any ripples. While the lighting zones do admittedly look dimmer towards the right of the mat, this honestly isn’t noticeable in person, and the whole thing looks great with my setup. Overall, I’m pretty happy. Is it good value for money? Well, it’s competitively priced compared to other mouse mats in this range, but perhaps you have to ask yourself is a mouse mat worth £50+.Personally, I’ve already spent a lot on my setups and I find aesthetics to be very important. So why 4/5 stars? This mat requires you to use Razer Synapse 3.0 for configuration. Problem is, Synapse 3 is still in beta and the app is a completely mess. Upon installing it, my Razer Deathadder Chroma stopped working completely and I then found out that the Deathadder isn’t even compatible with Syanpse 3! It screwed everything up so badly that I ended up having to remove all Razer drivers and programs and have gone back to Synapse 2 to keep my mouse working. So currently, my mat is unconfigurable, but it just so happens that I like the spectrum cycling anyway. It’s a shame, but it definitely hasn’t ruined this mouse mat for me.

OK, so I don't think this is quite as good (in terms of usage) as my steel series mouse mat, BUT it looks so much cooler that I'm going to stick with it.My fairly heavy mouse whizzes across it pretty well. Again, not as much as the steel series, but I actually think that for some people that will be favoured as you seem to have a bit more control over it. Using the Razer software, you can even select the mouse mat and have the software calibrate for it (amazing, eh?).It doesn't slip much on the desk, it has a rubber pad that means even with my laminate desk there is minimal movement. I reckon I may need to move it back half a centimetre into place every week or so,but that's not really anything to worry about. The size seems pretty good for my small desk (I ordered the standard/medium one). I think if it was much smaller you'd struggle with FPS gaming - larger would be fine if you've a big desk. For me, the thing that makes it a winner is the design! I'm a Destiny 2 fan and I think they've got it just right. It's subtle, but it's not boring and it certainly isn't over the top. It looks sleek and for me is just spot on! ;)

For £7.99, this product is an extremely good investment if you're looking for a mousemat that suits all tasks, without breaking the bank. The Chroma design is stylish, and will look superb in most desktop environments, especially with RGB-illuminated hardware like a gaming mouse. All mice that I have tried with this product glided effortlessly across it, making it feel premium. Being a fraction of a centimetre thick, it has an incline barely noticeable if you run your hand across your desk. Its bottom is sticky and doesn't slip whatsoever, but allows the mousemat to be peeled off a desk easily, for readjustment or replacement, should you feel the need to (which you probably won't).All in all, this mousemat does an amazing job of being a mousemat for productivity or gaming, and looks the part as well. If you're looking for a great mousemat at a great pricepoint, then look no further.I thank you for taking the time to read my review, and I hope that it has helped you come to a decision in your purchase.

Didn't realize I had much to say, but it'll be worth it if your into CSGOWay back I used to have the first version of this mat. I then went out to get a bigger Razer Goliathus Extended: Control version. I have to say this was the worst thing I ever did for my gaming. The Goliathus is a great mouse mat, but it created too much friction and resulted in a lot of wrist pain, which I only realised when I switched over to the Sphex v2.Now this isn't the mat for everyone. Your mouse will glide, like really easily! You'll be able to flick your mouse and it'll keep going. But if you're like me and you want less resistance with a low DPI (if you're an FPS gamer)then this might just be your mat!In CSGO I was averaging about 10-15 kills a game. Now I've got my Sphex v2 I'm back to where I used to be (nothing impressive) but 20-25 per game. It's a noticeable difference and I thought it was all down to getting older and reaching my 30s, but actually it was just that willing Goliathus.

This was one of the first razer products I had ever bought, (alongside the Razer Huntsman in Pink), and overall it works as a normal mouse mat the main difference being the leds surrounding the edge of the mat.The mat itself is a light grey colour, which matches the pink of the Quartz set very nicely. However, once you spill anything it is impossible to clean so watch out (i accidentally got moisturisor on it and it left a bit of a mark). The leds are nice, however the colour is not consistent through out the whole mat, I first thought it was a problem with my one; however after some digging online it turns out that other people also have this problem of the leds closer to the 'brick'on the top right being brighter than those on the far left. Although, this isn't as noticable in the dark as it is in the day time surprisingly.I would reccomend this for anyone who likes RGB like me, but if youre just looking for a regular mousemat something cheaper may be better for you!

I bought this to try with my Logitech MX Master mouse for an office environment. Note I do not game, I know it's a gaming mouse but this review is for an office use case situation. The Sphex V2 mini is amazing. The mouse glides along the surface with hardly any friction and it's so thin you don't feel the edge of it under your wrist. I passed one to one of my AutoCAD draughtsmen who agreed, perfect low profile, accurate tracking mouspad. It was so good I bought another 10x to roll out to all my CAD team and will be buying another 20 for non CAD staff as they've been such a hit.I can't comment on longevity this early but the mini is (in my opinion) cheap enough to be replaced every year.I was tempted to try the larger (original)size but the mini is enough for office use. I have a dual 27" 4k screen setup and can go from one edge to another without coming close to the edges. If you game you probably move the mouse larger distances so the mini might not be suitable.

As always, top quality stuff from Razer.Me and my girlfriend upgraded our desk and had a much large space, with my previous Razer XL Goliath mouse mat, my keyboard would intrude a little onto the mouse mat. With this, I no longer have a keyboard wobbling or intruding my mouse space. The surface of this mouse mat is control. This means it's got a little more resistance/friction against your mouse. It's a nice feel, and doesn't impose against general mouse usage/gaming. I preferred this material over the speed alternative.Reason for 4 stars? - Quality is 5* however for me, the height of the mouse mat is was shorter than I expected. This doesn't impact my gaming experience however for a personal preference,I'd of liked the mouse mat to have been an inch or two higher. This rating does not go against the seller, excellent service.Img provided, sorry no close ups - the mat closest in the image is the Corsair extended.

The Sphex v2 Standard is a noticeable improvement over the original Sphex, as it is larger and sturdier (slightly thicker, much better quality adhesive). The only complaints I have are minor, namely the pattern (I prefer plain black, like my soul) and the cloth tag on one edge that prevents that edge from adhering completely to the desk, neither of which affect it enough to lose points for my use case. While waiting for this to become available, I tried a couple of the Perixx DX 2100XL Ultra Thin Gaming Mouse Pads - while they are thinner and larger, they are also inferior in every other way. I have no concern about the Sphex v2 warping or becoming loose, which both of the Perixx pads did, rendering them useless. If your original Sphex is due for replacement (they do wear out, after all), and you want another product that will probably last for years, this is what you should be upgrading to.

So far, this has done what it's intended for and I'm happy with it. It covers a good area, so my mouse finally stays on the mat, that's a huge plus for me! So far the edges haven't frayed, but I've not had it long, so only time will tell how long that lasts. I thought it was quite expensive, but again, only time will tell if it's really VFM. I'm very happy with this so far and would recommend it to others who use their pc's all the time. My only bugbear is the massive amount of packaging it came in, this could be reduced hugely, which might reduce the price. Such a waste of materials to be throwing away so much of what my money paid for - All producers of all goods should be much more environmentally responsible and this was not remotely environmentally aware, which did make me cross. Please listen to consumers and REDUCE how much packaging you use when it's not necessary.

If you look up Razer Goliath's medium you'll generally find a price between 12-20 quid but for some reason the Destiny 2 version is selling here for 5.99. I mean even if you don't like Destiny 2 you're getting an amazing mouse mat for SIX QUID!Material quality is good, this is a really smooth and fast mouse mat, a bit scratchy at first because it's not perfectly flat but once it irons out its fantastic, it's probably a faster surface than my Hyperx speed mat.Design wise I really like it, a mixture of black and grey with an understated Destiny 2 moniker, plus I'm into Destiny anyway so it does appeal to me. Personally I think it looks better than the green fissure design they have on others with the massive Razer logo.Overall I'd say for this price it's too good to pass up.I've ended up buying a second one to go in my laptop bag.

I usually just buy a basic mouse mat but this time I thought I'd treat myself and get a premium one. Firstly, for a few more pounds premium doesn't mean expensive and the mini version is not expensive. The mini is just the right size, and I would imagine the standard size would be too large for my desk. This is a beautiful made mouse mat. Ultra fine, as advertised, but with a slight grain texture on the surface to aid precision without friction. No way is this mat just for gaming. The smooth mouse motion on this mat would reduce wrist action and therefore would help anyone with RSI. As for cost, this mouse mat looks like it would outlast a basic mouse mat by at least two replacements,so the extra few pounds in cost would be justified in the long term. This is a superb mouse mat. I should have gotten one ages ago.

This mousepad is incredible. What's not to like?It sticks to the desk, so it doesn't slide around. It's barely thicker than a couple of sheets of paper, so it barely protrudes from the desk, which means less extension of the user's wrist. It works well with both LED and laser mice, with no noticeable lags in mouse pointer movement.About the only thing I'm not keen on is the design; I'd have preferred a plain black pad. But that's a minor consideration; I spend my time gazing at the screen, not the mousepad.I'm utterly baffled by why more manufacturers don't make paper-thin, sticky mousepads like this one. Do people genuinely *like* mousepads which are half-a-centimetre thick or more, which force their hands further backwards and put pressure on the wrist? Ugh. No thanks. I'll stick with this one.

I’ve found it perfectly good in terms of what it’s meant to be and do, but I misunderstood what I was buying. I thought it was a sheet of hard plastic / polycarbonate. It’s a very thin and extremely flexible product with an actual adhesive backing. It’s more like a padded sticker than a hard sheet or a traditional foam mouse mat. I’ve stuck it to a glass desk and it’s held very firm.Mouse tracks well during gaming. I’ve had it a few weeks and no signs of wear. Surface is on the rough side but I don’t personally mind that as it makes for more positive feedback.I wouldn’t dream of sticking this to anything other than a glass / stone / plastic surface. I think in time it would rip paint, wax or other coatings from a surface. This isn’t something to keep moving around.
