This is easily the best hard drive I’ve owned. I became a seagate user around 2 or 3 years ago and I’ve been nothing but impressed by their products. The sole purpose of getting this desktop hard drive for me was for it act as a centralised hub to back up all my work, as I do a lot of video and audio production and it delivers! It’s super fast, super reliable and has become my new favourite piece of tech in the studio. I cannot recommend it enough.

I originally bought the Seagate backup plus with USB ports for hubbys Christmas present but it did NOT work with the PS4 so I exchanged it for this one which works PERFECTLY with the PS4. Hubby is well happy to have so much space for his games and I also got the Seagate Rescue Plan to go with it - which I hope he never needs to use! Im a bit biased with the brand because Ive always bought Seagate but I do totally recommend this product.

Needed a larger hard drive to store digital photos and home videos.You literally plug it in to the usb port on your pc and it is recognised and ready to go.Even by todays standards, 6Gb is a good healthy size of external hard drive.No problems experienced so not too bad an investment.You can get some external drives cheaper but Seagate is a decent make and has never let me down in the past.

got this hdd for mass storage for my youtube videos and while it does this ok it is not the fastest of drives and at this level or storage it can be an issue i have seen videos where people have taken them out of the case and internally installed them . i may do this in the future too hopefully speed the drive up apart from the speed the drive is good and looks nice

Wanted an additional hard disk drive to store my media collection on, so opted for this 6TB model. Nice enough looking drive, with plenty of storage space and connected easily enough to my Apple Mac via one of the USB ports. All I had to do was format it in one of the Apple formats and it was good to go. I’d happily buy this again if I use up all of the 6TB of space.

Seagate is a reliable brand for external drive storage. This 6TB drive is easily to set up (the specs don't mention Macs but this connected fine. The cable fittings fit securely, it is fast, quiet and easy to access. Also, I could not find it at this price on any other site.

Simple plug in it downloads to laptop then you just transfer your items across. Small box roughly half of iPad size. No problems for my daughter she needs it for Art drawings 6TB plenty of space for all of her drawings. Price is not bad either would recommend to friends.

I wanted an external hard drive for sharing among the family for films photos etc. Its a good price for the storage size and my only real grumble is it makes a bit of noise when spinning up at start of use. That is however a minor grumble. Very happy with purchase

Bought this hard drive as I needed more space for my ever growing film collection,I have always bought HDD drives from Argos as they are of good quality and reasonably priced and you don't have to wait to get it as they have plenty of them to choose from.

Good quality as usual from Seagate, simple to setup and use as just plug and play from USB 3 port, takes a little while for large transfers but to be expected via USB. One down side is no software included but loads free online so no big issue.

Great for extending the memory on my PS4 Pro plenty of space now for all my games in an ever growing digital gaming world. Just plug in and play it’s so easy to set up and format. Definitely recommend.

Bought for my fiancé as he’d ran out of space on his PS4(typical). It has a super sleek design and blends in well. It doesn’t stick out. Easy set up and works really well!Highly recommend!

This is a good hdd, bought it as an expansion for my ps4 to free up the internal hdd and my 2tb external. Does exactly what I wanted and the price is much better than amazon.

This is my second seagate. I use them as back up maybe not the fastest but they work well and don't look so bad either I have no complaints previous one is lasting well
