Great hard drive, plenty of space. Some quick start guides etc on the drive itself, if you need them. Plugged into a USB 3.0 port and all works straight away, no setup is really needed. The design of the case lets it down a little with the bumpy texture on top of the case and there's no rubber feet so it may slide around a bit. But overall it's a great external drive. Recommended.

I bought this drive simply because of it's quality and reliability, used this make for years! (still have a working 1TB external drive from approx 10yrs ago, to which I removed the outer casing and placed it inside my old "Inspiron 530S" PC ) very happy Argos is selling these at a good price and next day delivery!

Hi just like to thank argos getting my order super fast thank you and the unit is just super fast 121 mb transfer speed good for backup for all my photos and would say get this item super easy to use and also very small you dont need a power unit from the mains to power it .Thanks Argos 5 Star service.

I needed to set some small changes to the BIOS on my system as, when connected, my computer wouldn't start, it stalled every time loading Windows. After I told the BIOS to ignore other 'Start-up' devices it worked fine. Can't fault the drive itself, loads of space :-)

Bought as a Christmas present for our son. Has a great capacity and is very easy to set up and use. It is small enough so fits tidily within his set up. Have bought these drives before and found them to be very reliable. Very happy with purchase.

Design - okay and functionally fineValue for money - okay BUT WD drive was cheaper than this and with more storage!Reliability - from previous experience, Seagate is as good as Western Digital

Only one thing the bottom of this hard drive is very slippery and hard drives being fragile, buy yourself some none slip matting cut out to size of and put it on it. I do it all hard drives

I already had one of these in a 2tb and wanted to upgrade the size and it’s just as great as the one I’ve got with a lot more space. I use it on my Xbox

I bought this hard drive for my daughter she already has the 2tb hard drive but wanted more storage she's really pleased with it was easy to set up.

A good price for a external HDD of this capacity. Ideal as a backup of a NAS box.
