This is a good upgrade to the standard wired analogue Scalextric power supply. The biggest benefit from our perspective is the wireless controllers - great to allow the kids to scramble around the track. It also interacts with an Android/IOS app that opens up a whole host of racing options, plus brings in concepts like having to do pit stops, racing against a pace car etc. To be honest, the app, whilst a great idea, was a bit of a disappointment to us in practice - it's not particularly user friendly and is a bit buggy. The only other thing to be careful with is that the ARC Air power supply seems a bit more sensitive than the standard one - it is much more prone to cutting power due to shorts/power surges etc - you just have to switch it off and on again to reset it,

So much better than the wired power / controllers. Cars felt faster going round the track. Definitely enhanced the fun with sound Fx, lap times and adding race details such as weather and pit times. Really happy with ourchase

This controller brings older sets into life once more. No more wires across the track...lap counting on your iPhone...you will need a converter for new to old track but that's a small price to pay to have a great product !

Excellent piece of kit, so nice not to have wires, the Bluetooth is superb enabling easy timed practice laps and quick races.Wished this had been around many years ago,

Great fun when lock down is over Scalextric grandprix weekends here we come wireless hand controllers brilliant.
