SanDisk will confuse people with their description and Amazon doesn't make it any easier. This isn't truly a uhs1 card based on it's model number. There's two types of this card but the difference in appearance in very small. The SanDisk ultra plus is meant for higher end cameras with bigger lenses and wider aperture like the dslr cameras that are rated for uhs1 and gopro hero 4 newer cameras etc. Both cards are rated as class 10, but camera devices rated at uhs1 will demand more and that's where the uhs1 comes into the equation. This especially applies for newer devices nowadays that will throw as much data as fast as possible onto the sd card per second. This SanDisk ultra is for non demanding devices like the plastic Samsung galaxy phones all over the place,or pretty much any cellphone or tablet or older slr cameras. Check your specs! If you payed 2 grand for your slr camera, you probably shouldn't even be looking at this card. If you use regular class 10 card in a gopro newest cameras or expensive dslr cameras that can take so many pics per second or 1080p recording at 120 fps or higher or any 4k recording etc, then prepare to drop some frames and wont look the best. It will still work but prepare for a headache, even if gopro website specs say only class 10 is needed...... (They'll list minimum "recommend" specs like every other manufacturer does) Same idea in using only a crescent adjustable wrench to take apart a car engine; you'll do it but its gonna suck. You need the right tools so get the right card.

I bought this to go in a Raspberry pi, as part of following the thriftknology blog (google it ). Unfortunately it took six days to arrive, and in my impatience I bought a 64 gig SD XC card. I couldn't put the pi noobs (New Out Of Box Software) onto the card because neither my windows 10 desktop, nor my laptop running Ubuntu, could read it . No amount of trying to reformat it would work. What a waste of money! And completely contrary to the thriftknology ethos. So after a frustrating weekend, this card, 32 gig micro SD HC with adaptor, finally arrived. I put it into a USB card reader, and slotted in into the windows 10 machine. NOTHING! ! It didn't show atall. So I opened up the MiniTool Partition Wizard (free)fearing the worst, and it showed up as disk 2 and 32 gig. It also showed the card was formatted as FAT32, contrary to an earlier review which said that it was formatted as exFAT. This was good because FAT32 is what I needed for the Pi.But how could I put noobs on it if windows couldn't see it? On a whim, I tried to change the drive letter using partition wizard, and found I could change it from "none" to "E:" !! Now windows can see it, and noobs went on fairly quickly. The card seems perfect for the Pi, don't be tempted to buy higher spec. At least for starters.

I'm often buying these cards on behalf of friends for their tablets or phones. I always recommend SanDisk cards as they're reliable and reasonably priced, I paid more than double the price for a 32GB card when it first came out. I upgraded to a 64GB card when they became available, again, more than double the price than what you're paying now, and now I'm currently using a 128GB card in my phone. The 128GB card has mostly music stored on it and I've never had any playback issues. I have a 64GB in my tablet and another in my GoPro. I've never had any issues with recording or playback of video. The only issue I've encountered with video playback is with a 4K HD movie, and I think that is more an issue with my Galaxy Note 8 tablet than with the card. One other thing to check for with any SD card is whether it's genuine. I've bought cheap cards before which turned out to be fakes. You think you've bought a 64GB card, when in reality its actually a 4GB card. It will show that it's 64GB capacity in your device, but once you've added more than 4GB of data, nothing else will be written to it, except maybe empty folders. Make sure you test the card before relying on it for important stuff, like photos or videos.

With all the questionable MicroSD cards being produced today, it's important to gather all the information you can.The MicroSD I bought was the SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-I with adapter. It states that the speed can reach 80MB/S, but with a caveeat- the write speed is no where near this. Check the disclaimers:[16-128 GB] Up to 80 MB/s read speed; write speed lower.I just ran H2testw 1.4 (latest) to verify my MicroSD, as you should do when you receive any storage cards. The writing speed using a USB 3.0 MicroSD Adapter from KiWiBiRD reached a maximum of 28.5 MByte/s- I was hoping for better. The reading speed using the same adapter reached a maximum of 85.6 MByte/s (Great!)The test finished without errors and filled the full capacity of the card,so I can verify that it at least isn't a re-labelled fake.I contacted SanDisk about determining if my MicroSD card was a fake, and I provided them with some information and a number of photos. An excerpt of their response: "Based on the information that you have provided, it seems that your card is an authentic SanDisk product."Perfect! Totally recommended. Bought a second for a relative.

I ordered this to fit in my Samsung S7 Edge to store mp3 music. The micro SD card comes with an adapter so it can be used as a full size SD card, so I was able to transfer my mp3's directly onto the card via my laptop (by using the adapter) and then popping the card into my phone. When I bought the card I wasn't planning on using the adapter but it proved to be useful, and I'm sure it allowed data transfer quicker than using a USB 2.0 cable from laptop to phone, so if you're planning on using it for something similar I'd say the adapter is a big advantage. The card was immediately recognised and didn't need formatting. It's certainly quick enough for what I need, for my use the card was as quick as the internal phone memory.64gb isn't huge, but to expand my phone it'd more than enough for music. There are larger capacities available in the same Ultra range if you want to store video etc.I have only used the card for mp3's and a few pictures so can't comment on video etc, but I would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a memory card, and would be happy to buy one again.

Frustration free packaging is the best. So easy to open and get at quickly. The card is great. Just the amount of memory I needed to store films and tv shows.I bought this for my Lenovo tablet. I was apprehensive at first as most companies say their products can only use cards up to 64GB.But I loaded the card and it came up with the format option as it was blank. Formatted it and it was good to use. I've already transferred over 30GB of films and shows. Write speed was around 30MB/s. Pretty quick. The overall memory you get from the card is just under 120GB after the operating stuff is included. All in all its a good card and can't believe the memory you can get now for something that's smallerthan half the size of a stamp!!!Would recomend for anyone who needs more storage for phone or tablet.Make sure you buy a branded card when going this high capacity on a memory card, as I've bought one in the past which has been a generic card and it hasn't worked as it should have and corrupted my files. So I would always stick to a good branded card.

This card is in the wife's phone and is used for music albums, some TV (catch-up typically) and 1 or 2 films.Have loaded around 30Gigs of such at the moment and to be honest. Its a struggle finding good stuff to put on it. She has finicky taste at times! The lass commutes an hour each way for work on trains & such, and so the ability to take content with her on the move is pretty important. Most phones (including the Samsung S7 Edge) have pathetically poor internal storage. The 32Gb it came with is over 70% used with the OS and a handful of Apps??!!!Anyways, this card is perfect to upgrade the onboard memory and is a very good price for the storage density it delivers.I would have no hesitation in buying another 1.ONE Cautionary Note; Personally,I would only buy the SANDisk brand and only from Amazon direct, Because I know that I will be buying high quality original product. There are a great many fakes of these cards, so perhaps bear that in mind, when buying from 3rd party sources...

*UPDATE* - 2 months down the line, this is still working perfectly. With the Android 7 update I have moved a majority of my apps onto the card, no compatibility issues nor slow loading etc. Still plenty of space left after thousands of songs, 4000+ 16mp photos and apps/books/videos etc.Fantastic product. You pay more than cheaper alternatives but I will whole heartedly say it is worth doing so. I think it was around 110gb free for storage (as all memory cards etc have a percentage reserved for operation etc).Worked perfectly in my laptop with the provided adaptor, very quick transfer 60gb of music and 45gb of film! Then slotted into my new phone (LG G5) and works a treat, took some time for the phone to read and show all of the files but with it being such a large amount I expected this. All in all, you get what you pay for and this was cracking!(A genuine buyer, not a paid review...)

Picked up this card to go in my phone before a holiday to New Zealand last spring and it worked perfectly. I stored all my holiday snaps on it with room to spare - all six thousand - and took 60gb of video too. Everything worked swimmingly and I had absolutely no complaints. However when I returned to the UK and began playing around with the other record modes like 4K and 1080p at 60 frames per second I found errors start to creep into the video. Sound wouldn't be perfectly in sync, there'd be some digital artefacts on a few frames and it just generally wasn't working quite right. After research on the internet I found what you really need is card with "UHS Speed Class 3" certification to guarantee it will work at 4K without problems. This card just can't keep up with how fast the camera needs to record data.So I would absolutely recommend it to most users but with the warning about 4K.

First of all the item was packaged perfectly in it's own SanDisk sleeved envelope which kept it safe and secure. It was as simple as plug and play for me as I put it into my phone and hey presto it worked instantly on my Nokia Lumia 630 mobile phone. The transfer speeds are very quick and efficient allowing you to easily move one file to the other instantly. I can't say that I have tried the adapter yet as I didn't have a need for it as my phone can connect directly to my PC which brings me to my next pro of this item. There was no problems in reading the SD card from phone to PC via USB and the transfer speed was just as fast as on my phone which is just what I needed.Overall if you wish to buyan SD card that will last I would highly recommend this SanDisk one as for the price you know you are getting a great quality product.

I bought this to use in my wife's Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB, her previous I phone was only 16GB and with a newborn baby we were forever deleting media. With our 2nd child being born shortly after getting her new phone this was an essential purchase (after a tough childproof case!) This sd is fast at accessing content stored on it, seems to be great quality and makes sense that it has a lot of great reviews. I was contemplating going for the cheaper 64GB card for around £20 which would have been enough, however with her having a 2 year contract there was no point in having to risk it filling up for the sake of around a £14 difference. The phone is set to save all pics, videos and some apps to this sd card, leaving the phone memory as free as possible, Plus this huge card swallows up all the pics from her old as well!

I bought the 128GB model back in January of 2017 to use in my Motorola Moto G4. I put it in, and set it up as adoptable storage, and until now, it has worked great, with fast read and write speeds; the amount of storage on this thing was fantastic. But recently, the SD card just randomly stopped working correctly. The read and write speeds have slowed down so much to the point where playing music and opening apps stored on the SD card is practically impossible. Luckily the ~40kb/s speed has allowed me to salvage the files from the card and move the more important apps back onto the phone's internal storage.Would I recommend this SD card? Yes I will, but just make sure to make frequent backups of the contents, otherwise you'll end up having to spend hours or even days getting everything off the SD card.

After I paid much less for a 128gb card that wasn't a brand name, I felt the need to buy a branded card after catastrophic failures with the last one. After so many problems, this one literally slotted in, transferred VERY quickly, and worked. that's it! The transfer speed was actually way better than I expected. I got through nearly 60gb of video and music files in probably 8-10mins, which, while not using USB 3.0 was a huge transfer rate.I recommended buying known brands for large capacity SD cards, and I would highly recommend this one for anyone who needs one. This was fitted into a Samsung S7 Android phone, but with the SD adapter that it comes with you could easily slot this into a camera or any micro SD phone or device.

Great Product, arrived in super quick time with Amazon Prime, at first it didn't seem to recognise it as a 64gb SD card, instead it read as a 32gb SD card, which is the one i used at the time before purchasing this one. This obviously meant the android device i was using (Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.5") recognised it as my previous card with all its data on somehow even though this brand new one was inserted. I would just say be sure to close down all existing windows on the device, maybe even a restart before re-inserting the card a second time, this way it seemed to recognise it as a 64bg SD card. Obviously it was about 59gb as each card is always less its advertised capacity unfortunately, but still left plenty of space free.

Brilliant brand that works well. Purchased for Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus - I used it as internal memory so apps etc can be transferred to it. I didn't have much on the SD card only music copied from another device and some of the tablets apps.So when I did a factory reset I left it in and it wiped everything off, which is what i wanted and I was pleasantly surprised that i was able to use the SD card in another device ( this was a worry for me when I used it as internal memory for the tablet as it gives a warning that by doing so that you cannot use the SD card in any other device) I am not a techie person so while others may not be excited by this fact,I was and very happy that I can use the SD card in my phone.
