Glad to say it's a legit card and even outperformed it's guaranteed rating when benchmarked working well for filming and on my phone. Storage space is as claimed. As I appreciate this may be double-dutch to some I'll explain the claims on the card a little and attach the benchmarks I ran to check the card was genuine go the review (which will hopefully mean more if you understand what you're seeing). It does sometimes feel like all these standards just exist to confuse. Half the problem is overlapping claims. The card carries the following performance guarantees:C10 - write speed at least 10mb/s (almost all cards will prob have this these days).A2 - A1 is good for apps on phones,A2 is supposed to work well with phone apps (suspect this relates to read speed). This card is A2.U3 - This claims the write speed will be over 30mb/s (thus is as high as u numbers go).V30 - (also) guarantees a write speed over 30mb/s (the higher levels of this available are V60 And V90 and cost a lot more). Note though that when I benchmarked it this card outperformed its claimed specifications. In practical terms:If using on a phone like me A2 is likely desirable.Biggest issue really is for those recording video. 30mb/s will do you fine for 1080p and some 4k (at normal frame rates). For high frame rate 4k or 8k and you'll want V60 or V90.This card is working well in my phone and using an Omni pocket recorder at very high frame rates and filming in 4k. I haven't tested on my Nintendo switch but as that's easier than 4k video it should perform well. When I benchmarked the card it had an average write speed of over 60mb/s - which would likely even cope with 8k filming. This is great as if the test was typical that would even have made the grade for a V60 specification rather than the advertised V30. Not sure if I lucked out with my card or if those write speeds are typical.Note that I tried testing initially through an external adaptor and got a spurious low read and write reading. When I tested inside my phone I got better stats (and when I used a better Micro SD to USB C adaptor). So if you're not getting fast speeds try another micro SD card reader in case that's the bottleneck. All in all very pleased with this.It comes with a micro SD go SD adaptor which would be great but I have so many I'll likely just bin it. Packaging isn't the easiest to open without nails.I very much appreciate the lifetime guarantee from SanDisk which gives piece of mind.Benchmark stats on screenshot (last write on the histogram was this micro SD card).

Update: All the comments below the line are for a 400 GB version; I now have a 1 TB version. This is a great memory card. Everything is in working order, and I am using it to store my vast iTunes library so that I can have it all in one place. (It's backed up in the cloud too). But I find this so much easier than portable hard-drives. Anything that has no moving parts is better.1TB is a remarkable achievement. The packaging claims Read up to 160MB/s and Write 90 MB/s. And that's bytes, not bits (says the packaging). Good. It's unlikely you'll get those speeds because your own equipment might not be up to those speeds, but at least it's possible. There is an SanDisk Extreme Pro (it's black where this is gold)available, priced similarly, and which has v similar specs except it's Read is 170 MB/s; write is the same at 90MB/s.At the time of writing the Pro version is discounted down to £288. I got this one at a similar price. The pricing seems to be quite volatile. Bide your time over a month and watch for the 33 per cent or so price drop._________________________________I use this in my Drone, and I notice immediately how quickly the RAW pictures are put onto the thing so that the next photograph can be taken.400GB is a mind-blowing volume of data: and in such a small space!Anyway, this is a brand that can be trusted, and the speeds are amazing. This is well worth the money, and you get to keep everything on such a small memory card.I am very very impressed.

Loving this tiny little USB 3 SanDisk Micro SD card reader.Built well & seems as tough as can be expected while remaining so small.I have no clue regards a good few negative reviews that have been left for this item... I'm thinking that the negative reviews users should have bought a far bigger Reader as moaning about its size as a bad point defeats the purpose of the item as it's obviously supposed to be small which surprise surprise it is.Other negative feedback comments claimed cards were hard to get back out once inserted & again it's size related as in of course it's going to be figity & a little effort is required to get a tiny micro sd back out once inserted into this tiny low profile reader. The thing does exactly what it's designed to do & that's read / write to Micro SD cards at full USB 3 speeds. It's exactly what I wanted as I am using it in my Car's USB HiF input loaded up with Flac files & needed something very small & low profile that I could plug in, use & basically forget about it knowing it won't get in the way by being big & sticking out etc...It reads & writes as quickly as full sized SD card USB 3 readers do but since it is so small if you're needing a reader for heavy use then I suggest you buy a larger sized 1.Summing up = Great Little USB 3 Micro SD Card reader & Ideal for users requiring something with a Low profile or / & require it for a tight space ;)Highly Recommended :)

This is a great little micro SD Card Reader, which was bought with another, slightly cheaper; Integral Card Reader. After testing both for some time, each one easily producing close enough to the Manufacturer's claimed speeds, of all the Micro SD cards we used in testing, this, with not one speed drop off. Ace!This SanDisk item the smallest SD reader we have purchased to date. It really is an excellent product, all at a lowish price, that seems to be very well made, and robust enough for such a small reader. In fact; I can now add that its been stood on a couple of times - without any damage!Yes, pretty robust with great transfer speeds for such a small and compact size.We envisage that both Readers we've bought, will not quickly end up in the bin - like many others Card Readers we've purchased, that couldn't cut it, and ended up in the trash, it's true, that you get what you pay for!Yes, this device is easily worth the few quid, we have no problems in buying a 2nd Reader soon enough, yep, pretty ace product at a fab price. You get what you pay for with SanDisk, an excellent and reliable brand, that you can't go wrong with, thankfully, we've never had a single problem with any previous SanDisk purchases to date, they sure make some excellent products .Very happy with this purchase.

I love these micro SD cards; and have purchased at least 20 of them over the last several years. I only use them for my cameras. When full I keep them as back ups of the photos I've taken. Until now I've never had an issue with them, however on returning from a month long Camps International adventure my daughter asked me to download the images from her water camera. She'd been swimming with dolphins and done other underwater activities, which she'd videoed using the water camera. We've had 2 water cameras now and both have had a problem with respect to removing micro SD cards from the slot they usually reside in. It turned out that removing the card from the camera left the micro SD card (a 32 GB one)cracked. As it is a monolithic storage device, the data within the device has been lost forever. We took it to a reputable recovery service, who checked it over and announced that it was beyond recovery. If we had been able to recover it, it would have cost around £500. Large cards would cost significantly more.I'm happy with my cards, but never realised how fragile they were, which is why i've posted this here as a warning to anyone who uses micro SD cards. Keep them in proper storage cases and when removing them from your camera, be very careful.

I brought this primarily for my Go Pro 7 black and it works perfect for it,any owners of Go pro will know they are very picky when it comes to SD cards and not all brands go well inside them.I have tried other brands like Kingston among others and they did not go down well inside my Go pro, from huge lag to freezing the machine outright and i will also point out not all San-disk cards work flawless with Go Pros either!.I have however found that the extreme version works perfectly and as such i recommend this for Go Pro cameras.I also use this in my smart phones and tablets and it works flawlessly and fast for transferring between PC and other smart media devices,in fact anything that uses SDcards will work perfect with these version of Sandisk products.Price wise i got mine on offer on Amazon and it was great value, other sellers can overprice them i find but when i see sellers offer them at good prices i will always buy them even if not needed at the time.Value 8/10Productiveness 10/10

I've been buying these micro SD cards since I began using Android devices way back on 2.2. I stopped at 64GB cards as they were mainly for video. Now I store hi res photos from my SLR on my phone I need more.Card class and speed has always been tricky to define due to advertising mainly read speeds, not write speeds. Class 10 means nothing more than it can sustain a 10mb/s write speed, that's it!They have been getting better every few years and these A2 cards seem to be the best for speed v price. My last card had a write speed of 50mb/s which I though was pretty good. This one blitzes it. I transferred 78GB of data to the card (a mix of hi res SLR shots, full HD movies, music and pc programs, over 5000 files) in 18 minutes, the card maintained over 80mb/s for all but the last 4 minutes of the whole transfer. It averaged 72mb's in total.I've used Sandisk cards for over 20 years, I have never lost a single file from one yet (touch wood).HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I bought the SanDisk Extreme 64 GB Memory Card for my Nextbase Dashcam, as the 8gb card supplied with it is nowhere near enough capacity. I am incredibly impressed at the ease with which I was able to switch the cards over, format the new card and then after driving the first time, see that video had recorded perfectly. I also love the SD Adapter, as before, I had to attach the dashcam via a cable to my laptop, in order to review or save images. I rarely write Amazon reviews. When I was looking to get a larger capacity SD card for my Dashcam, if I had read my own review, I would buy. If that makes sense? I did pay particular attention to reviews of lesser quality SD cards.I am therefore very happy to declare that my choice of the SanDisk Extreme is the best decision I made. I strongly recommend it, (obviously) subject to specific needs of the job you need it to do for you.

Well what can i say, other than SanDisk is always been my memory brand choice. I brought three of these. First one at the time costing alot more than they are now. Ive always worried about getting fake ones etc. However ran the basic tests and everything was great, 2 years later and still going strong. And im constantly removing and adding files, putting it into different phone or tablet. I usually buy a new one every 2 years when i get a new phone and put existing one in a storage case and use when ever. However this isnt really because im concerned but more about the price drops, example you can now buy a 200gb for the price of a 64gb nearly 2-3 years ago. So for me ive always gone for more space when i can, more bang for the buck. Anyways great micro SD card, and havent brought myself around to trying samsungs own because i have never had issues with SanDisk

Another amazing item from Sandisk.I've had my eye on this for months and months to replace the 200GB Sandisk micro SD card I've had in my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for the last 2 years. As soon as it dropped to less than £90 I had to buy it.Transfer of data was done quickly and the card was seen with no problem by my phone. The size is 400GB but don't expect to get that as useable storage.Formed in Exfat I have 366.8GB.This is not a frault card it's due to the way the space is allocated accross sectors and clusters on the device. An explanation is way beyond this review but believe me when I say it's fine.Depending on the use such as using it on a linux system or if you know you won't have single files bigger than 4GB etc,you could increase the useable capacity slightly. If you're not sure then just leave it how it is.

I love my Tesla and the built in dashcam is fantastic but it’s specs are demanding for recording. I tried a USB3 stick that seemed to have write speeds that would be sufficient for recording video clips but it wasn’t up not the job and recordings often failed. The specs for USB sticks never provide details of sustained write speeds that video recording requires. I was struggling to find a USB stick with the capacity and performance I wanted, until I flipped the problem and thought about my camera and the micro sd cards that guarantee the continuous write performance needed for video recording. The Tesla only provides a USB connection so I needed a USB adaptor.I’ve been using this adaptor with a high speed micro sd card and no longer get warnings or failed dashcam recordings

The reader is very neat and protects the card i.e. it doesn’t stick out. I had no problem inserting and removing a variety of different brands of Micro-SD cards - no tools required. My Windows 7 PC recognised the card reader and installed any drivers. The PC informed me that it could work faster if I put it in a USB3 socket. I did this and was impressed with the performance.I tested a 256GB card and the reported speeds were 76MB/s write and 86MB/s read.I wanted this to be a source of media for a Plex installation on a Raspberry Pi. It was therefore important that it was tiny and that the card was protected and not sticking out of the side or rear. It perfectly fulfills these requirements.Delivery,as it often is, was incredibly fast from Amazon.

Search YouTube for: #livewellplaywell or Love Aria FavoritesI brought these to use them on my Canon M50 Camera as well as on my Apeman A77 Action Camera. They are great. The reading and writing speed are both good. I brought some other Sandisk cards in the past that had lower writing speed and I had issue with that card as the writing speed was too slow but not with these cards.I have had no issue with these cards. These work well for me when use with on my Canon M50 Camera and Apeman A77 action camera.I actually did a video using these cards on two different action cameras (two different action cameras at different price point)to show and compare the quality of the video taken.Search YouTube for: #livewellplaywell or Love Aria Favorites

I am showing two read/write testing results here, but beware that they came from the same micro sd card. FYI I'm testing my micro sd card on a UGreen usb 3.0 card reader. My initial test only gave me a read/write speed of around 40 MB/s like many others had here, which is way below my expectation. However, when I switched to the usb 3.0 port at the back of my desktop, the read/write speed significantly improved and met the SanDisk's claim of up to 90 MB/s. This makes me wonder whether everyone who thought he got the counterfeit was using the right port for testing, as many laptops have built-in card readers but not necessarily having the transfer capacity equivalent to usb 3.0 port (could be usb 2.0,which is around 40 MB/s).
