Bought this to upgrade my Nintendo 3DS memory so I could download more games and the product has surpassed all my expectations. Not only have I now got over 100,000 free blocks (enough to download around 10 full sized games or 50 - 200 (size dependant) retro games) but I have also seen a remarkable improvement in load times. When first switching on my 3DS it used to take 4 or 5 seconds to load my downloaded software to the home screen. Now I am lucky if I even see it load when I switch my 3DS on. This advantage is seen in the DLC for games too. Usually DLC took a while to load but now maps for games like Fire Emblem and New Super Mario Bros. 2 appear almost as quick as those contained on the cartridge itself. This, paired with the brand reliability (SanDisk are considered quite high quality) and cheap price (you can get cheaper brands, but beware of slower load times and cards which are prone to corrupting) make this product a must buy!I just wish I had upgraded my 3DS memory sooner!!!Additonal note:Please realise that a good quality SD card (such as this one) will only improve load times for data contained on the SD card itself, it won't change the load times or improve the hardware of the 3DS itself! Pretty obvious note for most, but there are a lot of people out there who will be glad the distinction has been made! Hope this helps! ;)

Firstly, this is an SDXC card thus you need a card reader (whether built-in a laptop/desktop, etc.) or device (camera, music player, etc.) compatible with it. For some readers there may be a firmware update to bring SDXC support but that is rare. If it does not work - it's likely your hardware does not support SDXC.Performance Test: 38-40MB/s read (sequential, sustained), 10-12MB/s write (sequential, sustained) - thus meets Class 10 rating (10MB/s write sustained).Should this qualify for the "Ultra" name/moniker though? I would expect somewhat faster write speed for an "Ultra", there are many class 10 cards out there.(I do have an 32GB HP class 10 card that outperforms this one for example)I do have an issue with the "30MB/s* transfer speed" displayed on the card; some people might think it means 30MB/s for both read and write! I personally find that somewhat misleading, why not write "30MB/s read, 10MB/s write"? Transfer is not just read from but also write.OK, it does say "class 10" but since there are no higher SD speed classes even knowledgeable people may think it exceeds class 10 rating and writes far faster than 10MB/s.All being said, SanDisk have always been reliable for me, performance meets or exceeds rating and price is now competitive thus overall I think it still deserves top marks.

I only use Sandisk SD cards for all my photographic needs. I've never had any problems or disappointment with these products. It's the only brand I trust such that I would buy their products! Of course, one does occasionally get a free SD card, such as a Toshiba-made card that came with my Nikon DSLR, but when it comes to buying them, it has to be Sandisk. They come securely packed and you can choose a frustration-free packaging or standard packaging. I go for the standard packaging as it's not hard to use scissors and I know the product is very securely sealed. Totally recommended. It's always a good idea to check exactly which grade of SD card you need for your particular camera.Whilst it is tempting, if you have the money, to go for the highest performing model, the fact is the best card for your camera is the grade recommended by the manufacturer, as it is the camera's internal software performance in union with the ideal memory card, that produces the best results. Don't waste your money thinking you have to buy the highest grade card. As it happens, Sandisk offers several different grades - standard, ultra, extreme, extreme pro - you pick your capacity e.g. 32GB and your performance grade, e.g. 30 MB/S. As I said, look at your camera manual and then look at Amazon's current pricing and offerings!

I bought this as an upgrade for my 3DS XL to replace the standard 4gb (class 4) card that comes with it.I considered a lot of different SDHC cards from various brands, but settled on this one due to the large numbers of positive reviews and the good price/performance ratio. The card seems to work perfectly so far. I copied all the data from my old SD card to this one using the Kingston USB 3 Multi Card Reader and after putting it in my 3DS XL I could just pick up where I left off without issue. So far I haven't found any problems with reading from or writing to the card. The only thing that was a bit underwhelming was the speed. While the SanDisk Ultra is still faster than the class 4 Samsung card that is included with a 3DS XL on purchase, the difference is less noticeable than I was expecting from a Class 10 card, often only resulting in very minor reductions in loading times. That's only a minor gripe for me, as my main objectives were to increase storage space and get a card that works (and continues to work) and this card seems to have achieved both, though how durable and reliable the card will be in the long run is yet unknown. Given the warranty on these cards though, I'm reasonably positive.

After having to switch memory cards during the Olympic football final, I decided to invest in a larger capacity card to go with my shiny new Nikon S6200 compact camera. After looking in the local retailers, I realised that I could get more gigabytes online for roughly the same money as on the high street. Thus I bought the 32gb class 10 Sandisk Ultra, the best I could afford for around £15-£20. What I completely overlooked was the fact that while the card can easily store thousands of high resolution pictures, the rechargeable battery on the camera is only good for two or three hundred before exhausting itself. Yes, I admit it was a bit of a "DOH!" moment once it hit me! As such,I'm only likely to ever use one fifth - if that - of the card unless I decide to purchase and then carry several charged up spare batteries - which is highly unlikely for a casual snapper.Still, that's my own damn fault and transfer speeds are fast enough being a class 10 card. So my overall thoughts are yes, it's cheap for a high capacity, high speed card but make sure you're gonna need those 32 gigabytes. If not, I'd advise buying the same card but with a lower capacity and saving yourself the difference.

Not all SDHC cards are born equal and if you want your HD video built into your camera to work stutter Free, you are going to need a memory that can keep up with the pace. Most High Definition devices specify category 4 or 6 cards an a minimum...and until recently that has meant spending a fortune on cards costing two or even three times as much compared to basic entry level cards...that was UNTIL NOW!SanDisk has a terrific reputation for high quality, reliable memory and there is no acception here. It is fast, looks and feels well made, unlike some cards I have used, and you get the feeling you can trust it's reliability like a best friend at your wedding.Make sure you Format in camera before use, this is essential for reliable camera function and format each time it's full and you will have years of trouble free use.Works great with my Canon 60D's high definition video and writes quickly when taking multiple exposures.Personally, I can't see the need to pay twice as much for SanDisk's EXTREME version when this ULTRA card with it's category 10 HC1 spec, does the job with ease.Martin

I bought this card to use in my Nikon D3100 DSLR. Delivery was prompt and the card arrived in a blister pack containing the card inside a plastic case - I welcome the return to supplying these cases which protect the card well when not in use.Turning to the card itself - physically it's good to see it's waterproof/shockproof and X-Ray resistant, plus, it comes with a lifetime warranty. I have no reason to doubt the claimed 30Mb/s speed having tested the card on some fast moving wildlife shots, and, of course, this high speed reduces the risk of buffer overrun. The performance of this card should be adequate for most amateur photographic applications including HD video.I had to pinch myself to believe the quality, speed and value this card delivers for under a tenner. Add to that the fact that it comes from one of the premier names in flash memory, Sandisk, and it's hard to go wrong. Recommended.PS. I have also tried this card in my pocket camera - a Panasonic TZ-30 and it works very well indeed. I can also vouch for this card working well with the Nikon D90.

Moving from cumbersome DV Tapes to on-camera AVCHD file storage was never easier. The main question was whether one or two of these would be needed for a week's worth of shooting? DV tapes typically take 13Gb of hard drive space but I hadn't bargained with AVCHD's effective compression. Well, two week's of holiday shooting later and I have still not quite filled the card up. This pleasant surprise comes from someone who has routinely recorded up to 8 hours of video on a week's holiday before (and then has to edit the bloody thing...!)As the price of SD cards continues to (slowly) come down, they will become a more effective storage medium for finished HD edits which can be played almost anywhere.Far more convenient that tape but it took a while form me to compile all the necessary equipment with which to make this move to HD simple and effective. PC, then Camcorder, and finally this fast SD card completed the puzzle. Does exactly what it says in the packet...!

I bought 2 of these cards to take on holiday to record stills and video. In view of warnings about compatibility I borrowed a 32GB SDXC card before purchase. My camera recommends these cards and both desktop and laptop can read the them though the computers are several years old. I bought an Apple SD card reader just before leaving and discovered when I was away that my iPad 4 would not read the cards, despite being the newest item - though it would read other SD cards. I found out later that Apple had decided not to implement this in the iPad! This meant I could not view photographs (other than on the camera) whilst away. Not a fault of the cards which performed exactly as they should and I am very pleased with them (though 2 cards was over the top in view of the amount of data they hold). The cards are recommended but make sure that your kit can read them - the only problem so far as I am concerned is the iPad. Am I glad I bought them? Definitely 'Yes'.

I bought this for my canon 550d camera and this is my first experience with class 10 memory card. I must say I over use it have a habit of processing and posting the images immediately once taken. Based on my experience so far here are few points-- Took way too much additional time to be delivered. Ordered on 4th and delivered on 20th August.- Being a class 10 memory card delivers faster performance over class 6 memory cards.- Good for recording videos and helps a lot if you shoot raw.- Last two memory card of 4gb class 4 memory cards of same brand got broken on the corner and were not getting detected by card reader so I wonder if there is any better quality available in market.- One lastthing I love about this card it comes with a good small carrying case unlike Samsung cards which comes without carrying case.So far so good works very well as expected and at this price I don't expect any more then this.

This is a review of the product and the seller. The item arrived well packaged, securely in a cardboard sleeve and not that plastic that can only be undone with shard scissors or witchcraft. The packaging had an anti static backing to ensure its working when it reaches you. The card is of good quality and doesn't feel flimsy like cheap cards. The write speed is fantastic, noticeably quicker than the previous card I was using (class 6). For burst shots on a 20+ mb SLR the images were available to view immediately. The previous card would display the message that the images were being written. As for the seller. The item was ordered on Xmas Day, it arrived the following week. The price was unbelievable, even including postage it was cheaper than anywhere else by a long way. Fantastic seller that I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I suspect I'm in the minority in that I bought this as storage for music on a laptop with limited internal storage space. It's robust and has so far done its job in storing and playing back media, some of which is very large and requires good access times. Have used Sandisk products for their intended use in cameras before and not been disappointed.I do a full exhaustive format (un check "quick format" in Windows) to make sure all parts of the drive are there (weeds out the fakes); did with this one and got the full result and no errors.especially worth 5 stars because of price. Memory is cheap these days but 32GB is still pretty big for SD storage, so for under 20 quid I was impressed. This is the biggest size you will get in SDHC, which is great for compatibility on slightly older devices.

I have this SDXC card installed in a Lenovo X220 to provide extra storage for Oracle documentation and music rather than wasting space on my SSD drive. I was slightly worried my laptop might not recognise the SDXC card in the internal SD slot but had no problem there (I have all the latest Lenovo updates which may be relevant). The card seems quick enough and I've not had any reliability issues (though I don't expect any from SanDisk). The only thing to bear in mind is that the factory formatting is with an exFAT cluster size of 128kB I think so, if you're using the card like me for storage of lots (say, 100,000 or more) of smallish files, you probably want to reformat with a cluster size of 4kB - in my case the smaller cluster/allocation unit size saved 48% space.

Bought this to go with a Panasonic X16 Zoom point and shoot I bought for the wife and for that purpose it it perfect. And the 1000 plus photo capacity will keep her going for a long while. Its more than fast enough for constant frame shooting and as she doesn't do videos on this perhaps I could have got away with a slower alternative..But frankly at under £8 for 8GByte who cares...To explain that comment, I'm showing my age, but as an Electronics engineer whose first design job at GEC in the late 70's involved me designing with the latest greatest state of the art 2Kbyte memory chips that had come out on the market at >£50 each, paying under £1 a Gbyte fills me with wonder, although I appreciate anyone under the age of 30 will wonder what I'm going on about.....

I bought this card to insert into the SD slot in the side of my three year old HP Mini 110 1006TU netbook, just as another option to expand storage with no bulky external drives. My aim was to load the card with music and videos (re-sized to 1024x576) for the long-haul flight to New Zealand that I'll be making soon.No problems whatsoever. My test video, Game of Thrones s01e01, streams from this card flawlessly, which is all I wanted. I'd prefer the card to have a faster write speed, to make copying my media to it a little more rapid, but at this price point, you really can't ask for more, especially from one of my few trusted brands (the others being Transcend and Lexar).Oh and it also worksin my GoPro HD too:)£16 for 32gb......what's to complain about??
