Picked it up this morning. As with all memory cards the first thing I always do is to test the capacity, too many fakes around even on Amazon, but this is the full 128GB (well 119GB actual due to storage manufacturers GB being 10^9 and not the 2^30 reported in programs like Explorer) packaged in what is a genuine SANDisk bubble pack. Though unlike some it is fairly easy to open, just use a scissors or rip along the dotted line which even I could do with ease with my my arthritis. The card and adaptor are held internally in a form fitting transparent plastic half with an easy to pierce paper backing, a sharp fingernail would do it.Using my Dell XP laptop's memory card slot with the supplied adaptor on a laptop that was playing a video, encoding a video and intermittently downloading stuff it took between four and four and a half (4 - 4.5) hours, (I got distracted near the end so missed the actual end of copying) to copy over a full 119 GB of data at just under 10MBps, i.e. class 10. I don't know if it would have been quicker if I used one of my USB 3 memory card adaptors via an USB 3 port but I know on this laptop that when you have a lot of activity going on the laptop's memory card slot is quite slow so I would expect to easily exceed the above speed if I hadn't been hammering my laptop. However, as these are only usually written to/updated only occasionally as they are used as additional storage to plug into my tablets/mobiles to carry around music, video and my library files when away from home rather than carry even my 2.5" HDD around I don't mind the 10MBps write speed. In fact I just clicked the Buy Again button and will probably buy a few more over the.coming months.I haven't tested the read speed but on double clicking on one of the last videos I had uploaded to the card it opened within a couple of seconds in my usual media player (Potplayer), which is the time it normally takes to open files on any disk that isn't asleep or in standby and as it is to be mainly used for watching/listening to media files on my various devices I am more than happy with that.

This is too slow for daily use, so I really hope there will be a card that is at least twice as fast in daily use because I cannot afford to wait more than 3 seconds to see and check a photo or video I took on my phoneALTERNATIVE- Lexar 128GB microSDXCAlthough on paper it says up to 95MB/s reading, it is not noticeably faster than the SanDisk in real use. Initially, when i bought thid item it won't work on my samsung galaxy s4 so i planned to return it but then the next time i plugged it in, it started working and has been working fine ever since. Maybe it was my WMP that wont recognise it. I actually bought two, one for my mp3 as well, that one works fine. The question is i will have to come back in a year's time to see how we've fared cos i bought these because a Toshiba 32GB i bought 7mnths down the line, it packed up and all the nice moments i captured on it was gone. I was so devasted, yes i took it back to argos and got gift card to the value i purchased it but what about my photos that i will never recover again? Now i have to be very careful with these things, i dont think they're so reliable. I will always back up my stuff on samsung link n some other places to avoid this calamity happening again. So since I've been using sandisk mp3 player for years now and they're quite reliable, i thought i should give them a try on SD cards.

Bought this to use with my Sansa Clip+/4GB. When my iPod Video (80gb) died I replaced it with an 8gb Rio. Always wanted a card based mp3 player, but the capacity was either too small or the cost too high. Bought this and the Clip+ for about half the cost of an iPod Classic 160.I currently have over 90gb of music on the card. Using a USB3 card reader, it took approx 2 hours to transfer. To enable a card of this size to work with the Clip, I had to do a couple of things.1: re-format the card to FAT32. Not as efficient as the standard format, but it does work with the clip.2: Install a modified firmware. Search the sandisk forum for more information. So now I have an mp3 player with nearly 15000 tracks. The only way (currently) to have more storage in an mp3 player is to buy an iPod classic 160. And they've stopped making them. When sandisk make a larger card, I might give that a go instead.

When it comes to memory cards for use in cameras, computer tablets and the like, you need something totally reliable right? Right. Well years of experience have taught me to stick with the Sandisk range of memory and they've never let me down yet.I have only recently had a need for the tiny Micro SD form factor having bought a couple of Android tablets recently and new Canon Powershot cameras for myself and my wife. So again I turned to Sandisk and I have now bought four of these cards ... two 32GB Class 10 for the tablets, and two 16GB Class 10 for the cameras. All are performing faultlessly and at very acceptable speed levels. Now I can relax and concentrate on enjoying my devices safe in the knowledge that my photos, music files, video files etc. are secure.Dave.

It was working absolutely perfectly and I was very pleased. Then yesterday, 2 weeks after it arrived, I was unable to copy music files onto the card as it was in my computer's card reader. Said it was write protected.I then put it back into my phone to see if I'd changed the settings somehow but my phone didn't recognise it and it wouldn't mount.Back in the computer and then it wouldn't open and the only option I had was to formet the card. Luckily there wasn't too much data on it so that's what i did, but if I had filled it then this happened I'd have been incredibly irritated. It may be that I did something without realising but in my view, it shouldn't be irriversible. So I don't now what happened.Anyone had a similar experience?

The SD Card gets a 5 because the space is more than enough and the class 10 is fine, however on my phone after a few months I kept on receiving error messages regarding the card. Upon further investigation it turns out that my Android phone, and many other formats like Windows, do not require a class 10 speed but a 2 or 4. I did think that there was an actual problem with the card but there isn't and is working fine on my PC. It is the phone because phones only require and go up to a certain speed before the limit is reached and the card is not longer recognised. This card though is good for a camera with the photos and video, like HD videos, with the adapter that it comes with shall be good for those who need that higher speed.

It's amazing!! How so much stuff can fit on a card that size is incredible!!!When I was a lad we had cassettes for our commodore 64's and after 20 minutes of waiting a 640kb game would be loaded (If you were lucky!)With this Micro SD I can record HD video and watch it on my TV straight away! I can even put the car in my mobile phone!! (We didn't have mobile phones when I was a lad)What does the future hold? I think these things are going to get smaller, and the capacity even bigger, Maybe if we're lucky they will even have the technology to make them in different colours... "16 PetaByte ZeptoSD Card in Blue & Yellow" CAN'T WAIT!!

Excellent, got extra 119 Gb effective storage to my tablet out of 128 Gb memory card. Added to what I had, it makes my tablet storage capabilities almost as a laptop! My tablet description said I could add a memory card of up to 64 Gb. However looking at reviews on the internet found this 128 Gb memory card.If you want to check if your phone, tablet or other is compatible with this or other SanDisk memory card google "sandisk product compatibility tool", to find SanDisk compatibility website.SanDisk is the best memory card, and as to this date (March 2015) the ultra model (faster) and 128 Gb was the maximum available for my tablet.

I have bought two of these; one for my Galaxy S5 and one for my Galaxy Tab 12.2. They work perfectly, 'out of the box', without any formatting being required, and, as expected, give a massive boost to the storage capacity of any device that will accept them.A number of reviewers have expressed doubts about product from market place sellers, so I made sure I ordered from Amazon direct, and have had no problems whatsoever.Others have run benchmarks, but suffice it to say that speed is not an issue for playback or recording of 1080p videos, let alone lesser requirements.Highly recommended and definitely worth its 5 star rating

read the reviews on this and was a bit worried when people said it lost data, when I first took the data off my old card, it did appear to do just that, then when I read the old card properly, I noticed the music and photos where not all in the same place , they might be when you view them on your phone, but they are not in reality, so you have to make sure you've gone into every folder and checked you've got everything, once I'd done this and realised what was happening, there was no problems at all, excellent value and you get a card adapter to, yes I would recommend

Purchased for use in a Motorola Moto G (4G). Phone accepted immediately with no hiccups. Obviously this expanded the total storage to a much more useful size of about 36GB (about 4GB available on the new phone of the 8GB capacity + the 32GB added by the Sandisk card). Transferring media, photos, videos etc. from internal memory to this card was rapid. Accessing these files from the SD card was lag-free and no stuttering with videos. No sign of corrupted files after about 4 weeks use so I have no worries about file preservation (at least, not yet). Very happy

I bought this at the same time as the Canon Ixus 500 HS camera Canon IXUS 500 HS Digital Camera - Red (10.1MP, 12x Optical Zoom) 3.0 inch LCD. I am not a fan of the tiny memory card that has to be extracted and placed into the camera. i preferred the standard size memory card that fitted into my Canon Ixus 100 IS. But I needed this memory card, just very fiddly to remove as so small. You definitely need some nails on your finger. The memory card does what it needs to do which is fit in the camera and record the photos and videos.

Awesome! For all you complaining there's only 29GB or 58GB the SD card has to be formatted with FAT32 and that is basically the operating system for the SD card. Therefore only about 92% of the storage is available to the user. It's like GameCube memory cards. They all have 5 blocks of system files so a 64 block card has only 59 blocks useable. You would need more like a 70 GB card and that's not really possible because the total space should be a power of 2 (2,4,8,16, etc...) Since that's how modern technology runs sadly.
