I needed a fast and reliable micro SDXC card, and the decision fell on this model.Up to 170 MB / s in reading and 90MB / s in writing and in addition a convenient adapter, very useful to insert "on the fly" the micro SD card inside the PC, included in the price.Adapter that has a read / write protection lock on the side.It is not one of the most economical cards (even if the price at which it is offered, considering the quality / price ratio, is excellent), but if you have the need to record 4K videos at high bitrate you don't have much choice.Clearly this card will be too much, if you record videos in HD (720) or Full HD (1080), in fact in this case head for the "Extreme" versions of the same manufacturer, other performances and with much lower costs. In my specific case I will use it inside an INSTA360 ONE X, which records 360-degree video with resolutions up to 5.7K at 30fps, 4K at 50 and 30fps and 3K at 100fps for the more 'slow-motion' slow motion. The bitrate reaches up to 120Mbps so it takes a card with out-of-the-ordinary performance. The same manufacturer recommends cards with UHS-I V30 speed class. When you buy a micro SD card for your video devices, carefully read these specifications for an optimal choice, without spending too much for a card with high performance but you won't use it fully or, on the contrary, buy a card on offer but that will not allow you a speed of adequate acquisition and with consequent loss of frames and videos that are jerky.

I highly recommend you buy scandisk memory cards, I am not sponsored by them etc I wish I was. I have had a mix of Samsung SD cards before and scandisk, I've had the odd problems with a few of my Samsung SD cards, not reading or being recognised by devices or the pc. However I've never had any such problems with any of the scandisk SD cards I've purchased. I highly recommend spending the extra money and buying the scandisk extreme pro, because it's essential if you plan on shooting video especially 4K or slow motion 120fps! Any standard SD cards with a rating less then A2, U3, V30 will not work when trying to records 4K, 120fps slow motion of burst photo shooting as the memory of the SD card is just to slow. You definitely should buy direct from Amazon UK as always as if you have any problems they will immediately rectify it. Very good reliable SD card. P.s if you can hold on Amazon regularly puts these SD cards on daily deals with big discounts so unless you need it immediately hold off for an Amazon daily deal or prime day!

Fantastic MicroSD especially if you need a quick one for photography or 4K video recording.First of all I would like to say that I see a lot of faulty speed tests as some people don't understand that by connecting the MicroSD to PC trough whichever device they are using such as camera, limits the transfer speed to that devices port, so to measure true speed of the card you need to buy a MicroSD reader (preferably USB 3.0). So now when we figure out this lets get to the testing!I own two of these, one 64GB and one 128GB, for the testing I connected it using SanDisks USB 3.0 MicroSD reader to my USB 3.0 port and started Crystal Mark. Results are great!Read is at 178MB/s (128GB card hits 179MB/s,but the difference is minuscule)Write is at 101MB/s (128GB card hits 102MB/s, but the difference is minuscule)So far the cards are fantastic and just what I have been looking for.If they fail or something changes I will report back with an update!

Will try to make it short. Card itself is not faster as mine 3 years old sandisk extreme 128gb it's about the same or slower which im ok with that but i've expected faster write/read speed. From 400gb is available for use "only" 375gb i thought it will be something around 10-15gb less but it's 25gb's less for use. First i've run H2 test to check if card is ok and genuine with no faults before i put all files from older card to new one as with those cards is always tricky (many fakes around). For speed check i've used usb c reader and not sd case supplied as it's slower. Highes writting speed i gor 87mb/s but it was not stable so average for read 74 mb/s and for write 80 mb/s.This is only reason for 4 stars. One more thing , so far i did not locate Rescue Pro Deluxe software.- have to check sandisk website for more details

Sandisk are leaders in making memory cards. When it comes MicroSDs and SDs, i never stray away from buying from Sandisk. They are absolutely the most trustworthy digital memory company when i need storage in my drones, gopros and other cameras.I use this card for both my GoPro Hero 7 Black and the DJI Mavic Air and i have also tried this on a DJI Spark. The former two write at 4k, and I have never had any write issues or read issues with a Sandisk. Even better is that this is a Sandisk Extreme Pro which means the read write a peed is ultra fast.I have stored up to the full 32gb on this card, with no issues. Whereas in the past when i have used Toshiba or other brands, the memory card can get a bit glitchy when almost full. Sandisks are reliable, and will as long as they keep producing high quality products.

Although I have a fair few microSD cards, they are all 64GB or above. So when I bought a Zoom H5 field recorder that has a (pretty silly if you ask me) 32GB storage card limit I had to go shopping again. Some people have, apparently, had problems with certain cards in this device so I checked the manufacturer tested and recommended cards for the Zoom H5 and this one was the best value in my opinion. Not least as, and it's relatively unusual for a 32GB card, it supports a max write speed of 90Mb/s (and read of 100Mb/s). As I'm going to be using this primarily for digital audio recording and processing in the device, I wanted the fastest read/write speeds I could get. As for the brand,I have plenty of SanDisk cards here and the Extreme/Extreme Pro ones have yet to let me down in any way.

For a long time, I've been using Samsung EVO Plus micro SD cards in my small board computers, unaware that the advertised 100MB/s & 90MB/s speeds are for SEQUENTIAL read & write speed respectively. The thing is sequential access is common on devices like cameras, but for small board computers it's actually random access speed that counts, and on that, those cards are really bad...What one should be using is A1 or A2 cards that are optimized for random access, as with this specific card! After I put this SanDisk Extreme A1 card to use, there was a considerable speed improvement!Do note that as of writing (16/02/2020), Linux has no specific driver for A2 type cards,so you won't be able to take full advantage of those either and they will behave as A1 instead.

I bought two of these from e-bay. The first was an exceptionally low price but contained in the small print that the card might need formatting to realise its full capacity. It showed correct capacity and files saved. But next time I opened card, half files were not there. tried several times and failed. Quick format did not resolve. Full format would not complete.I bought a second card at moderate price (half what you would pay in shops) but which did not have warnings in small print. This card has full capacity, saves and retains files and works perfectly. So I recommend this high capacity card, but check small print, as you need a card correctly formatted to full capacity or you may loose your files or photos above a cheaper cards (lower)capacity.

Bought card to replace the one supplied with my Parrot Anafi ( 16gb) . The sandisk card was on the compatibility list . 16GB is not enough for good 4k video . So out with the 16 and in with the 128gb .. Tested the speed etc , and no faults , tested the capacity and no problems either . So inserted it into the drone , formatted and again , no problems . I use a lot of Sandisk cards from extreme to extreme plus and extreme pro . Never had a "duff" card that was sold by Amazon or an authorized retailer . As long as Sandisk produces awesome cards , I will support them . I would sooner pay more for a genuine card . If you think you have a counterfeit product .. Just google search and you tube ..You don't even have to open the packing

The card comes with the label of extreme pro with 170mb read and 90 write. I know it has astrix at the end of the speed level. But this card is far from perfect, upon testing on different phones, it seems the card can't write above 30MB and for read its 80MB.The devices I tested this memory card with are, galaxy note 8, galaxy s7 and i7 hp laptop with adapter and it seems the card is not as great as it is advertised.Compare to this extreme pro, my other extreme memory card is much faster, that can achieve 90MB read and 85MB write which is much better than what this card can achieved. For anyone interested in this memory card, avoid this and get the extreme memory card instead.

Whilst the SanDisk Extreme Pro is not the most expensive micro SD card on the market, there are alternatives that are less than half the cost. The difference between this memory card and cheaper alternatives is speed.I was able to get over 80 MB/s writing speed from this card on my laptop and PC and around 55MB/s on my phone. This makes it a great option for recording 4K video. I will be using mine to record 4K videos in my action cameras. If you just want a cheap micro SD card for your phone for storage and will not be recording 4K video, I would buy a cheaper alternative. However, if you need fast read and write speeds in order to record 4K video, this is a great choice.:)

brought this for my drone and it works. it does write a little but slower then the package says but it quick enough for my Zino with no stutter on 4KOnly issue is should come with a USB Adapter as i dont have a laptop and my pc doeant have a slot were i can put the adapter in to but wasnt excepting one as picture clearly shows the adapter you get and the 32GB Extreme Pro microSD + USB 3.0 Reader was out of stock so could not order one of them.I didnt see a anti-counterfeiting code on the packaging so unsure if you can check to see if it genuine or not. I hoping amazon are checking that before selling but like i say it doing the job i wanted it to do

Bought for use with a Pi3B+ to run RetroPie. Works perfectly and is fast. Incase anyone want's to try this the Raspberry Pi will default to only see 32GB. To gain the full capacity, then install Rapbian (full or lite) and then Google how to increase the size of an Ext4 partition. The alternative is to use a none standard Fat32 format which I wouldn't recommend unless you need to read the card under Windows.Anyway, back to the card.. an absolute bargain for the price. Not seeing anywhere near the speeds stated, but that was expected when using a Raspberry Pi. It is still signifacantly faster than an Ultra card and currently around the same price.

Unfortunately this memory card was not compatible with my camera a Nikon D40. I ordered a 128 GB SDXC Extreme Pro memory card not realising that the camera had a limitation of 32GB and could not handle the higher grade technology. As a result after formating the card I constanly received a message on my camera saying that the card was full. After much searching on web sites I was able to reduce the volume of memory on this card to 32 GB and this enabled the card to work. However, I could have purchased a 32 GB card at half the price of this one. The lesson is check the right type of card for your camera before purchasing.

SanDisk and Adata are the only two brands I have and ever will trust with my data storage as a professional videographer and photographer. I tend to sell my old cards and buy a complete set of new ones every 1 and half years just to really really avoid the chance of corruption of an old card but honestly I've only ever had two cards go corrupt on me and both of those were from freelancers I had hired for the day that weren't shooting onto SanDisk or Adata. I know there's cheaper brands but don't bother skimping out on memory please. It's the most important thing your camera needs to actually make you any money
