Having changed jobs and surrendered my works Galaxy S4 I was looking for a new smart phone, I reviewed several options but few offered comparable functionality and performance at a price I was willing to pay. I selected this phone because it was, for me, a known quantity and hade the benefit of being unlocked, allowing me the freedom to select a SIM only contract that suited me while having a good quality, feature rich handset. I did look at some of the Motorola Moto E & G phones, my wife has one but, good as they are I like the screen size and graphics resolution of the S4, the less said about my new works Windows Phone the better! Overall I'm very happy with this phone,

Previously had S2 so was familiar with samsung and android..I like the fact you can expand memory and change the battery on these devices.Had to give up my work provided phone and either go contract with handset or buy sim free device and sim only deal.After searching/research I found S4 sold by this company as grade A used/refurbished sim free.Phone was delivered quickly and is in fantastic as new condtion apart from a few little scratches on the back case...as described/expected...phone is pretty impressive device..fast, great screen...battery better than S2 but I think that was on its way out...overall very satisfied.

Probably the best Samsung phone ever made, in my opinion. It's fast, fairly small, has an SD card slot, and most importantly it has a replaceable battery. There seem to be huge stocks still available in China, so you can now buy one for less than £100. Even better, official Samsung accessories such as the flip case can be bought for a small fraction of the original cost.Downsides: 1) it's three generations old, so if that matters to you buy an S7. 2) Unless you root it, the latest Android version you'll get is 5 (Lollipop). 6 (Marshmallow) would be nice as it integrates SD card storage seamlessly with the onboard storage, but Samsung are unlikely to push it out.I've bought several of these for people who wanted a reasonably priced smartphone,

Switched from Galaxy ACE 2 to S4. Was worried about managing bigger sized mobile but soon got used to it and see it as an advantage with more info on screen and easier to read. Noticeably faster processer than S2 and better internal memory (can be extended by a further 32 GB). Excellent array of features. For example, Adapt Sound adjusts output to each ear piece to compensate for any hearing anomaly - it confirmed loss of high frequencies in my R ear. Screen is bright (AMOLED) but can still be difficult in direct sunshine. Some remote features take a bit of getting used to such as eye controlled screen rolling - but they can be switched off if you find them a nuisance.

Bought this Samsung Galaxy S4 to make local call and free international call through Skype, Viber and Tango. Also I keep my diary and organize my daily tasks. I was really worry about the overheating problem. Fortunately, I haven't got any issue with that. Probably some people running too much applications at the background without their knowledge. I check my task manager frequently and shut down those application which are using my battery and resources. I hardly use the camera and need to master the camera. Because, sometime, I get blur picture due to the lack of practice. I noticed that there is a control to make sure your focus and aperture in order.

I got this phone as my iphone broke down. I've had this phone for a couple of months and I still love it! What I like about this phone is the RAM speed and screen size. Everything is better on a bigger screen! At first it was slightly confusing using an Android phone again but I got used to it after a couple of days. The good thing about the S4 apart from the large screen size is the battery life. In comparison to the Iphone, I had to charge it everyday and when it crashed, I couldn't do anything about it. Whereas, with the S4 the battery would last me a day and a half, sometimes a couple of days if I don't overuse it. Plus you can take the battery out! Also, there isn't much restriction on the S4 compared to an Iphone.

Bought it as a present for my brother. It was truly flawless as advertised. Original packaging and everything, same as new, most definitely. I ended up saving a whole lot of money getting a brand new phone.As for the review, I'm basing it on the smile on my brother's face and his annoying tendency to constantly brag about this or that feature.If you can get it like I did, with a significant discount, the Galaxy S4 is probably the best phone around right now and it doesn't attract the scorn/hate of the iPhone 5.I'm more than happy with the HTC One S that my brother kindly handed down to me but for that price I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Just my 2 cents, folks.

It's lightweight, more than most phones I would say and easy to carry. The touch controls are very responsive unlike some phones I've had in the past. I'm very pleased with the battery life as it lasts much longer than my old samsung phone. The size of the phone is perfect if you like your phones to be quite big, which I like very much. It also has brilliant internal phone features such as useful apps and the camera quality is excellent.The only downfall of the product is that it heats up quite quickly, within minutes of browsing. However, that can be solved with a case. Other than that, I am very happy with the phone and would recommend it.

This is my 3rd Samsung Galaxy S4. One is now 5 years old & is now a bit battered, though still working so is kept just as a standby mobile. I use the second one for listening to audio books and this new one as my main smartphone. It does everything - phone calls, emails, messages, going online in one compact mobile. Because of a severe back problem I need a mobile which is not too heavy and this is ideal. I use it constantly each day. The screen is a good size for watching Youtube videos and Netflix.The only downside is it only has 16GB of memory, but an SD card helps to expand that. I recommend this mobile wholeheartedly.

After all the hype about the S4 I decided to purchase one so I went on ebay as usual and have a look around. Within a matter of days I received the phone, open the box and the phone just look impressive.After using the phone for a couple of weeks I was totally blown away, it:s fast, responsive and reliable, just brilliant.My only complain would be the build quality. It felt cheap and plasticly and the back cover feels as it will break every time I took it off.The Camera is great to use, Apps are plentiful and mostly free,Andriod os is really user friendly and the software is very easy to operate even for the novice.

I had this phone for a few days now and I am absolutely amazed with it. Worthy of every penny and you will definitely not feel the need to change it for years.What does it do better than its competitors (iPhones or other Android devices):- You can switch the OS between the Samsung (as shipped) version, Google (vanilla) version or Cyanogenmod versions easily.- Full sensor array, including unusual gauges like temperature and humidity.- BEST IN CLASS display: you have to see it to believe it- very light and compact for a 5" displayYou really cannot go wrong with this phone. Get yourself a good deal and buy one.

great phone...just upgraded from an S3 mini i would highly recommend...if you had a previous Samsung this is for you.its a pocket PC..blistering speed great apps good size...wifi and mobile data, great all round phone 2ghz processor 'quad core'i have been using Samsung from the start and will use them again, they are high quality good camera 13mega pixel..5 inch diagonaly screen... to get a better battery life you may have to disable a few apps...but u can always pick what u need and keep them running...it is a good upgrade from a S3 or mini..good all round robust..second hand £100 is not a bad price when they AR

I thought it was going to be all scratched cracked but no it came today with out the original box and with no head phones but that was to be expected it also came with the micro usb charger with out the plug but I already have like 3 any way but what if this was someones first phone and they didn't have any charger plugs but on the other hand it's in very good condition but has a few chips on the side silver plastic but this happens after long use any way I can also use my ee sd card In it so yes it is unlocked any way that's about it I guess what can I say I got what I wanted.

Pros:brilliant display 445 ppi.Excellent touch screen.Gps is brilliant. Compass is accurate.Has Barometric and temperature measurment.Call quality is very good.Has 4G capability but most places only 3G signal available.Loads of free android apps available.Movie playback is excellent.Speaker quality reasonable.Battery can be exchanged by removing back cover.Memory expandable to 64Gbytes.Cons.Camera not too good in low light.Focos lock jittery otherwise colour and sharpness very good.Battery will last a day with normal use. Need to charge at night.
