I was bought RL Live 2 for my birthday and have really enjoyed how challenging it is to get use to.The controls arent easy, a lot of muli-tap buttons at any one time, to carry out a specific action but I am really impressed with the dynamic passing system, it does really make you think about who to pass too, what run they will make etc. So from this point of view decision making on the field is important and as a big rugby fan, this is as near as I will get to playing!!Some of the commentary gets a little bit tedius, not a massive range of phrases so gets a bit repetitive at times, and its aussie commentators which is a bit surreal. Player likenesses are a bit poor,each player is basically the same face with different hair and body size. But I can over look this by the authentic kits, stadiums and player names, and the game includes a wide range of teams from Super league, NRL and right down to national league 1.Really enjoy the challenge the game gives, there is quite a bit of difference between the skill levels but am very happy with the game and would certainly recommend it to anyone who has even a modest interest in rugby league.

I played this game on the easiest level and it was too easy, so I went up a level and it's too tough.But I stuck with it, lost 8 games on the spin, but then finally got to grips with it and now have won some games.The controls are tricky and sometimes frustrating. Interceptions seem too common.The game is an improvement on last times. There's loads of leagues, including Championship and Champ 1 in England and you can mix teams around to your liking.So, stick with this and you'll like this game. It's good fun. I recommend playing at least 10 games before you form your view, cos to start with, you'll pull your hair out!

I'm new to rugby league. I've always been a football fan and buy Fifa games. Buy i"m getting sick of football and all the money these stupid players get!! So I got this game and I'm loving it!! Although I'm finding it very hard....Have not won a game yet :) But I'm sure I'll get there. It's looks good...Not like Fifa, but still great. If you like rugby league or want something a bit different, then get this!! :)

Great Rugby League game at last! Much improved game play from earlier attempts, only critism is that on the harder settings the opposition intercept too often and the player likeness of the Superleague players isn't accurate. I was that hooked that when my PS3 started freezing on this game I bought another console to continue my career

This is a good game and has moved on since the last versions however there are so many controls to master at any one time that me and friends have often found ourselves making slight mistakes which gift possession to the other team. With rugby league being so complex I guess this is to be expected to some degree.

my son has played the last rugby cup game that came out a few years back and has commented on the excellent graphics this game provides.... Good Xmas pressie and hopefully my son wont wear the disc out the amount of times this game has been played.... Money well spent!

My husband is actually on this game as he is a professional rugby player so he thought it was fantastic when he opened this on Christmas Day. The graphics are good and the player actually looks like him too.
