I use it as a bath thermometer and it works quickly to assess the temperature. It seems to work well when it's just sitting in the bathroom as a room thermometer too but I don't know how accurate that is.Knocked off 1 star because I think the price is a bit high considering it is rather basic

Good bit to have for a baby kit to assure the bath isn't too hot or cold. Lists cool, warm and hot on the thermometer, but its in German. Kids are never to young to learn a second language though!
