I am surprised that no one makes a two stackable storage boxes that fit in a single IKEA KALLAX unit area. The IKEA single containers are not practical when they are just super deep storage bins - lots of wasted space. So I was looking for two containers that stack in this space. Sure there are many out there that would go in this area, but none really use the whole space to their advantage. Two of these 18l bins are perfect and they use up all the space of the KALLAX unit, so much so that you need to put them on top of each other before you slide it in, else there is no room.That is my only issue, but I can't complain as they are not made for the KALLAX, this just work.

40 x 33.5 x 17cmI bought a number of these to replace the Ikea CD storage boxes, to stack two in each 35x35cm shelf in a room divider. I've been looking for a storage solution for my CDs since the cardboard boxes aren't very deep so don't hold too much, and the plastic boxes are usually too wide to stack in the space.These fit perfectly. They are only lightweight, so I was initially concerned that the weight of the CDs might be too much but they appear to be fine. Each box can accommodate two rows of 34 jewel cases, facing up so the spines can be read. With room for the odd box set, or another half a dozen CDs expect to store up to 70 CDs in each box.I've now got plenty of room to buy more

The boxes arrived in good time each one in its own package. Rather surprisingly the credit card showed a separate debit for each of the 4 boxes. They are exactly the same as the boxes which have been owned for several years & are extremely robust.
