This is a brilliant toolkit, and it's even better value on a lightning deal. Every piece is 'Rolson' branded, unlike a previous reviewer's review, but I did buy directly from Amazon itself, not a marketplace seller. The tools feel heavy, with lovely rubberised grips and are of good quality even if they are coloured black and pink. The bag is also of good quality with several pocket compartments to fit each piece. (The bag however, in my set is hot pink and black, with grey straps, unlike the pastel pink bag shown in the pictures here and on the box, and my tools also have hot pink and black handles, which luckily I really like). It is rather patronisingly described on the box as a 'lady tool kit'though, which I think is a bit unnecessary. This kit has all the essentials most people need for some basic DIY. I did have all these bits in standard tools till I moved in with my partner and he stashed them all away with his tools as he seems to think he's the only one who can or should do DIY. Well now I feel like my old independent self once again and I don't need to ask him every time I need a screwdriver etc. One happy, independent girl!

Having read previous reviews, found a UK trader which advertised branded Rolson toolkit in box in their description, rather than the cheapest option. Very happy with this set, which arrived very quickly, it is compact and will be handy to keep in the house rather than garage, so a few more jobs should get done. For the money, the tools look good quality and the chunky little hammer and ratchet handle screwdriver feel particularly nice to handle. The bag isn't huge and looks different to the Amazon picture (cerise rather than bubblegum pink and squarer in shape). The tools aren't lost in the bottom of it as previous reviewers have talked about, but there is still room to add a few more small items.Would make a practical gift for independent woman - as long as the recipient likes pink.

As if carved from the Rib of Adam himself, this pink tool kit has literally made me the woman I am today!Hammers and screwdrivers simply used to slip through my fingers, but now, even though I bath daily in milk of magnolia, my talons are able to exert the tightest of grips onto these rugged pink and black shafts. It is staggering to believe that woman achieved anything with their hands until their tools were pink. How was Waterloo Bridge, the ‘Ladies Bridge’, ever erected? How were munitions ever made for the Great War? How did our sisters of engineering, Victoria Drummond, the first female marine engineer, and Sarah Guppy, patent of safe piling for bridges, ever achieve anything?Thank you Rolson!

Well, after years of complaining that I'm not able to find far-scattered man-filed tools, my husband bought me this kit (plus a few extra items to boost the tools). Since I tend to be the one that gets on with repairs pretty quickly, it has been an amazing addition to my life (sad or what!). I am a busy exhibiting artist and need tools frequently. I agree that the lack of spanners is a bad thing - but then, the set might have been selected by a man.....! With extras added, it is really great and the surprising envy of my friends....and my husband borrows it when his own (non) tool-filing system lets him down.

Bought this item for my daughter who has just moved in to a 2 bedroom flat and purchased various items of furniture that required assembly. The kit contains a good selection of tools which are more than adequate for the things she has bought. The girly pink bag is big enough for additional items and is fairly substantial and she loves the colour! Only real criticism - no spanners included, a small set say 8mm to 13mm would have been useful and a set of small allen keys, other than that I can recommend this item for anyone who needs the basic tools in their first home.

Useful little tool kit for bits and pieces of work around the house. The quality of the metal is not great so they won't survive a lot of use but if you only need them a couple of times a year they should last a long time. If they get wet dry them before storing away because the metal corrodes quite easily when wet. They bag is quite handy and has space for a few more tools if you have them. For general around the house maintenance I would add a water pump pliers, a junior hacksaw and a multi-meter (or at least a phase tester if you don't need a multi-meter).

Amazing value for money and actually very good quality tools which, if you are like me and prefer to destroy it yourself (!?), you will use again and again. Especially like the chubby little claw hammer and the ratchet screwdriver (with huge assortment of heads) which makes it so much easier to use if you don't have much strength in your hands. The handles are all rubber-coated which again helps with grip and are chunky enough for even the most delicate of paws to wield .Definately recommend - go on, you know you want to!!

I did not know us ladies could get involved in this DIY stuff until I saw this. Someone once suggested that I could do my own small practical jobs but I thought it couldn't be true as there were no 'lady tools' for sale. Just imagine using those man coloured tools - yuk!!Thank goodness I saw this when I did, I couldn't open my barbie nail varnish and these tools did just the job! If only my boobs didn't get in the way all the time, I could almost function as a human being! Got to go, my hubbywubby needs his bath running.

If only I could say that the Rolson 25 pc pink toolkit is like me! It's practical and good looking. I think it has more than the basic needs for most contingencies and is neat enough to keep in the house within handy range and not be buried at the back of the garage like my heavy tool kit. Though it's a snug size for storing, the bag is still roomy enough for adding one's own pieces of equipment.. I have put in my picture hanging kit. I really love it! I think it would make a very good present too.

I bought this bag with essentials just so I could always get my hands on a little hammer, tape measure or pliers rather than have to go and sort through my husband's boxes of tools. Found that everyone now comes to me first if they have a little job because I have all the essentials sitting in my pink bag that is small enough to tuck away somewhere handy. I wouldn't expect anyone to build an extension with it, but for the odd loose screw, picture hanging or lightweight job its absolutely perfect.

The product arrived in good time and the products within work alright. The tools where quite scuffed looking - but I think this was because of the lack of packaging Rolson had provided for them, the bag and box it came in looked new. (The tools where all loose within the bag, however the bag does come with some simple straps built inside for them) However, they work fine for basic DIY jobs and the bag has plenty of room if you wish to add to the collection.

This tool bag and all the tools inside feel well made and of good quality, especially for small jobs around the house.I ordered the pink set (can't remember if they come in other colors. I like the pink color so that they don't get mixed up with any other person's tools. Canvas zip bag seems strong and has plenty of room to add more tools if I decide to add more later. Great bag and happy I bought it. I will order one for my daughter, soon!

I ordered this item as one of my mothers christmas presents and it arrived 2 days later - very quick deliverThe tools are very good value for money. I purchased this 2 years ago now and they still work. They are very useful tools and my grandfather has also been sneakily using them! Very useful sturdy tools for DIY tasks around the home and garden.Worth every penny!10 out of 10

I bought this item as a prezzie for my sister who wanted a tool kit to just do some basic diy around the house. It is a really nice looking tool kit and the tools are good quality not cheap and plastic at all. The bag is also just the right size with plenty of room to add your own things. Overall was very pleased and it is pink what more could you ask for really. xx

Bought as a jokey birthday gift for my wife who can never find tools in the garage when she wants them. After ending up in a cupboard until she rang to ask where she would find a "criss-cross screwdriver". Now used by her and only her for many months. Well worth the money just for a peaceful life as she now has clean tools where they are easy to find.
