Rogue Trooper is a character from the SF comic `2000AD' and the game is based on the early stories that outline the genesis of the GI (Genetic Infantryman). There are around 12 levels and the first two or three show Rogue's three buddies dying off and their biochips being incorporated into his kit. Thereafter we follow Rogue through various adventures as he pursues a traitor across NuEarth.There are good and bad points about the game, but overall it's a very satisfying experience. The controls can be tricky, but once you've adjusted the options and practiced a little it becomes a lot easier.Bad points:I found the radar and map too small to be of much use.

When I first saw this game a couple years ago on XBox and PC I wanted it, but missed to buy it. Now I had another chance - and I'm happy, that I took this chance. Rogue Trooper is a Actioner with a lot of tactical elements, such as self-shooting cannons, which you can drop, holographic clones of yourself to irritate enemies, time-based explosives and so on. As written in many professional reviews the guys behind Rogue Trooper polished the grafics a little. Water effects look really great, smoke an explosions are fine, but still the game is not really eyecandy. But - and thats the positive thing - the grafics create a wonderful dirty atmosphere, which makes in combination with the mean-machine character a great experience.

Played this for a bit on PC a couple of years ago, passed it on to my brother. Nice to see it re-surface on the Wii, and especially considering the good job done with the port. Presentation overall remain slick with crisp, clear movies, nicely laid-out menus and well-produced aural production. Graphics seem slightly washed-out, but still look good for Wii standards. Gameplay remains the interesting combination of shooting, stealth and resource management that made the original stand out above the rest. The weakest point for me is the controls, which do take a bit of getting used to, especially using the Wii IR pointer for mouse-look. Aiming remains easy and accurate, even without the auto-aim.

I bought this game about one month ago could not stop playing it, it's got lots of missions and the graphics are superb. Its like being in another world with this game and the scenes are great too, the weapons menu is great lots of choice there the only thing is that there seems to be no access to certain areas but this is not a problem. The game is easy to pick up it does take a few days to master it at first but once you know what your doing its the sort of game that is addictive. I like how it is hard to finish certain levels like the mission on the train is very hard but you can do it you just have to be good at aiming.

The game's storyline & graphics run true to the comic from which it comes, this to me adds to the excitement of playing the game after reading the comic asa kid. 3rd person player. Rogue Trooper can run & shoot unlike some other games. Good choice of weaponary. The only annoying problem I encountered was that sometimes I couldn't stop the Trooper throwing away all his grenades. but besides that I found the game exciting and once the controls were mastered it was fairly easy to use. I enjoyed every minute & wish they'd bring out further stories and by the way the game ended they could.

This game is fantastic and if you loved Resident Evil 4, this is certainly a game for you.The controlers are great and in the options menu, you can adjust most of them so that the camera angles, for instance, don't end up everywhere should you decide to click your wrist whilst holding the wiimote.The graphics are amazing, though the scenery is not as varied and as perfect as in Resident Evil 4. But then, it has more to do with the comic it is based on.I haven't found any downsides yet. Still on level 4 or 5...

I have found this game very playable, it has a bit of everything as a shoot em up.There is a good joice of weapons,and each level is different.I am of the older type of player (55)and find it quite easy to navigate around the game.I look forward to the next Rogue Trooper game which I would certainly purchase.The game has plenty of levels which keeps you playing for hours,the only annoying part is the repeating of, :come out coward :.Well done for an excellent game.John

I liked this game a lot, captures the look of the original comics very well. The plot and dialogue with poor, but I suspect in keeping with the comics as well.Action was fun however using some of the weapons was awkward, which was very annoying at times.

If you like Medal of Honour etc AND 2000AD then you'll like this game. The levels are mostly quite challenging with boss levels etc. There's enough variation to keep you pleased and enough shooting up to keep you busy. A good but at the price.

Very good game over all, the two player section is the most impressive.Graphics and game play are what you would expect of a game like COD so for this game to have it impressed me.

the only downside is that you cannot save during levels so you have to l complete level in one go
