Firstly, make sure you order the right product so that you get the correction required. The Green pen corrects redness ( redness and blemishes)The Pink pen corrects dullness ( dullness and sallowness)The Apricot pen correct dark spots (under eye circles and dark spots)I tested the green pen to correct redness around my nose. The idea is to correct flaws on your skin tone by using the opposite colour on the colour wheel. therefore the opposite of green is red.The products works very well, twist action base to reveal the product then dab onto skin where needed. there is no odour, looks a bit silly especially green but strangely it does work and minimises a red nose. You apply before makeup, then apply makeup in the usual way. There is a general lack of direction, the manufacture assumes you will know what to do and have used colour correction before. However, it worked, it sat well on the skin and didn't dry skin out.

I'm not as spritely as I used to be, and a couple of nights of interrupted sleep shows. I've got a pretty basic makeup regime, and tend to apply a little extra foundation to give a more thorough coverage of the dark circles beneath my eyes when required. I was attracted to the idea of this product, and I've got to say I'm happy with the results. I apply the primer beneath my eyes prior to moving on to my foundation, and feel that the primer helps even out my skin tone and hide my dark circles more effectively. Not sure about the eye brightener claim; probably because I apply this product before 7am and I'm somewhat bleary eyed for several hours before dosing up on an unhealthy amount of coffee. My only complaint; the twist action to extract the primer is quite crunchy and unpredictable. On several occasions I ended up twisting too much and losing amounts of primer that squirted out and landed on the bathroom floor.

I was sent the lavender colour corrector which is meant to lift dull and/or sallow skin. I've used applicators like this before (with a small brush) and prefer them over sponge end applicators, so big thumbs up for that. It's very easy to twist up the right amount (just go gently) and the brush allows for good dispersion of the product and light application onto the skin. It does dry very quickly so needs tapping into the skin quickly. It blends well with a light touch, and if left to absorb for a few moments before applying foundation, it appears to hold on well. It didn't make a vast amount of difference to my skin, but then what product for under a fiver will? If you're expecting a miracle you're not going to get it,but if you just want something to slightly lift the tone of the skin underneath foundation, when applied properly it achieves this.

I bought this on a lightening deal and intended to give it to my daughter but instead kept it for myself. I really like this and it did seem to make a difference by making my eyes look less tired. I put it around the bottom and sides of my eyes and left it to dry for a few minutes then applied my makeup as usual. It works by just turning the bottom around until the liquid shows up in the white brush tip at the top of the pen. It is quite a light shade and when applied to the skin it absorbs into your skin easily. I have only been using it for a week or so and I will definitely buy another one when this one is finished. It seems like it is going to last a long time and is very good value for money. It is also small enough to fit either in your pocket or in a small handbag. It seemed to help keep my makeup foundation on which is a bonus.

[Reviewed by Mrs O’] I love this new Revlon colour correcting pen and it’s such good value (£4.90 at time of review). The product is easy to use, with its twist up mechanism, and brush, which allows you to apply just the right amount of product for you (you have to twist it a lot at first use, but keep going it’s not broken!). The product on your skin comes out a mauve colour and you wonder what it will look like under your foundation, but it blends perfectly, brightening the skin and hiding imperfections. I used it particularly under my eye area and found it really did make a difference, and I looked less tired and had an overall brighter look.At this price it’s certainly with giving it a try and you may just love it like I do.

WHAT IS IT=========A concealer or correcting pen. It's green. You may think that you'd look like grotbags with this, but it's actually very effective at neutralising redness. The best concealers counteract discolourations, lighten shadowed areas, and are very effective at disguising blemishes.A really good one gives you an even skin tone working with your foundation.A bad one will highlight all those imperfections.THIS====It's specifically made for redness, so it won't cover blemishes but is very effective at covering redness.PROS=====Good BrandGlides onEasy to applyNot expensivenice even coverageCONS=====NoneOVERALL=======I had the green correcting pen which is great!

I surfer quite terribly from dark circles under my eyes and have used lots of products to minimise this in the past. However, I would say that this product has made the most difference to their appearance! The product is applied by twisting the ‘pen’ until the product is expelled from the nip. Purple in colour which once applies seems to adapt to your skin colour, taking away any dark areas (I find using my fingers or a sponge applicator works best, rather than a brush). Its amazing for the price and would say if you do suffer from dark sports then definitely give this a try before buying anything too costly.

This is not something I would have thought of buying because, luckily, I don't often have red skin. However, I do get the odd spot and those are red. I have been dotting this onto red breakouts and then using concealer on top and it really does take out the redness. Who'd've thought! I twisted too much to begin with, so be careful on first use. It really does go a long way, so be mean with it. A teeny tiny bit on your finger and take it from there. I don't use the brush directly on my skin, but it's a nice soft brush. I don't want to make it germy and I don't want to wash it. I like this and recommend it.

Revlon's PhotoReady Eye Primer and Brightener helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and creases under and around the eyes and goes on very smoothly with its built in applicator. This can also be used anywhere on the face to brighten it up.I found it help with the darker areas underneath my eyes and in the corners to help minimise my laughter lines. I used it with the BUFF colour Revlon ColorStay foundation for Normal/Dry Skin - 30 ml (which I have also reviewed) and they worked together without any problems. This is also oil, talc, fragrance and paraben-free, so kind to your skin.Recommended.

I decided to take a chance on this - this pen is suited for dull patches of skin, so I figured I'd try it out and see what it does! It comes as a pen, obviously, and you simply click the base until the purple concealer gel pops out. Then you use the attached brush to apply and blend it! I like it, it seems to sink in and dry quickly, it did sting my sensitive skin a little bit though. Then I blended with my fingers. It's good for under the eyes, I think it works best if you put it on before foundation and powder to really level out any dullness. I like it!

Applied with the soft brush and smooth bright tacky surface is soon achieved. This surface enhances the colour of any eye shadow used. The eye shadow is also retained better, not needing reapplication during the day in normal circumstances.Less impressive is the plastic container, which makes an unpleasant clicking noise as you twist it open. I feel sure that is something that can be improved upon. You can spend three times as much for a superior alternative, but I am happy enough to recommend this Revlon product for ordinary daily use.

This is quite a light product and won't fully cover dark circles on its own without foundation or concealer on top. It does reduce them though and means you need less concealer. The texture is excellent and it blends really well so it's easy to layer with other products. It can also be worn with no other makeup for a light coverage and doesn't look at all cakey so very natural. I also use it to highlight as it reflects the light. Excellent if you like a very natural look but wouldn't be good for those who like a full coverage look.

Mine arrived but the pen wouldn’t work. I literally had to prize off the brush area and use a make up brush to apply the corrector. I found you have to use the smallest amount. And when I say small amount I really mean it.The product works ok. I was pleased with the results. Sadly I put the opened pen in a airtight tin. Or what I thought was one. Over the next 4 days it dried up and I had to throw it away. But it is a great product that I recommend to a lot of people. I think I might buy one and see how I get along with it.

Originally I thought this wasn't going to be any good, but it just takes a wee while for the primer to come out the tube properly.Once it does though, it really is a quality eye primer and for the price, it's a dream.I have primer, colour corrector, eyeshadow, foundation and concealer on my eyes and it barely feels like I'm wearing any makeup at all.Usually I just use face primer on my eyes, but I can really notice the difference with this.Wonderful product, and highly recommended ?

This product has good coverage and definitely brightened up my under eye area. I like the applicator. It has a click click twist to load the brush with the amount you require. It goes on smoothly with the brush making it easy to target the areas you want and be very precise in your application. It also means you can control the amount you are using so I reckon it will last a long time. Just make sure you moisturise well first otherwise you will highlight any dry patches of skin.
