After spending a whole day using this pad I have to say that it is amazing. Anyone who owns a Sega Saturn with an original controller today will know that sitting 3ft from a large HD TV is far from ideal when playing Saturn games so this is was much needed and anticipated. Linking it up to my Japanese Sega Saturn was easy with the clear instructions and is simply a case of pressing a couple of buttons.The controller itself is a perfect clone of the original as you can see in my pictures. It feels identical, with the smooth face and textured exterior. I expect some people in the reviews to say that the buttons are wobbly and loose and that the dpad is floaty, but the fact is that,

I haven't actually used this controller yet but I wanted to write a review anyway because of how impressed I am with the product as received. The pad comes in a box that, as you can see in the pictures, feels like a really authentic Sega Saturn product from the time. I got a real nostalgia kick straight away. Then I was surprised to find that inside the box, the pad comes in a really nice display case that houses the pad, micro usb cable and the wireless receivers, which I wasn't at all expecting. The case is plastic with a kind of felt interior. It was a really nice surprise. The pad itself looks really nice. I definitely like the see through aesthetic and the coloured buttons (definite 90s vibe about it).

Just received this controller. Been waiting ages fir it and finally have it in my hands!Now, I have a Saturn system and games, but I don't have it hooked up to my tv. So I use Mednafen to play Saturn games. And with this controller, it's perfect!It feels like the original controller. No lag at all. Connects to my PC with the supplied USB dongle fast. But I do recommend reading the short manual on how to do this correctly.I was using my 8bitdo m30 previous to this controller and I have to say, I prefer this controller. I also use it for megadrive games On PC as it connects perfectly too.You can use this on the megadrive mini also, bit have not tried just yet.I'd highly recommend this controller.Great job Retro-bit.

I bought this as i was getting fed up with the short cable on my Japanese Sega Saturn.PROS:Connects without any problems.Never had a drop out or flaky connection.DPad and button inputs are responsiveExcellent build qualityConnects to loads of devices.(With dongles)CONS:D-PAD feels is a little too soft for me but not a deal breaker (I personally like the feel of the 8Bitdo M30 best)Battery life isnt fantastic as its quite small.Micro USB for charging. (Prefer a USB-C or Mini USB port as stronger)This came with the connectors required to use it on a REAL Sega Saturn JAPAN/USA/EUROPE machine as well as connect it over usb to a PC or Mister.

I am using this with my Saturn and am very happy with it. Build quality is A+. But more importantly the look, feel And function are superb. I have original controllers available to me and they are still one of the best controllers ever made but I am using this as it is just that wee bit better in my opinion. It’s really comfortable to hold the buttons and pad feel so close to the original it’s as near as damn it. Also no lag....not that I can tell so all round this is a great piece of kit....almost forgot it comes in a really nice storage case which is a really nice touch and help keep it in good condition.

I bought this primarily for the MD mini, and it works great. The buttons are very responsive, the d-pad works well for those quarter-circle turns in Street Fighter 2, and of course those additional buttons are crucial for that game, too.I also tried it on the Switch, and it’s great for Sonic Mania. In d-pad left analogue mode, it can reportedly be used with Zelda: Link’s Awakening, which is pretty neat. I used it to play a bit of Super Mario World (the A-B and X-Y can quickly and easily be swapped), but it’s too easy to accidentally spin jump when holding run and tapping jump, due to the close proximity of the buttons.This is a great controller, and absolutely worth the asking price.

A great value for the money. You get an awesome-quality wireless controller compatible with multiple platforms *and* the original Saturn. Includes a lovely plastic presentation case, USB cable, controller receivers. The sync did need multiple attempts to get on, but then worked perfectly. Really super recommended.

I love the controller, everything is perfect, feels very much like original Saturn Controller. The problems I have are the bumpers as they feel very shallow at first, but in time they got a bit better, don't know why. Also hopefully we can get a version with TYPE-C connector sometime in the future.

The first controller I got the C button was sticking, but sent it back and the 2nd pad I received has been working well and it's perfect for my beautiful sega Saturn the greatest sega console ever in my opinion, top notch and a must own product if you love your saturn

Works well and only slightly thicker than a standard Saturn gamepad. Works with all games except for Mortal Kombat 2, for some reason or another the button configuration gets corrupt and unusable

Great controller been waiting for years for a good 6 button wireless fight pad and sega simply blew the competion away with this. If your after a good fight pad look no further.

Very good controller! However it is recommended to update the firmware of the controller to reduce the lag that exists. Well built like the original sega controller.

It does what it says, excelent for retro and arcade games.There's a wired USB version for it but spending a little extra for the wireless feature is 100% worth it.

This works perfectly and looks great. used it on my PC, Saturn and megadrive mini and works very well. Its a wireless saturn controller, what more could you want!

Bought for someone as a gift. They said it was perfect for what they wanted it for and worked well and was good quality.
