This is a great PAL console, very accurate to the original gameplay, to the point where there is no difference other than maybe game sounds. The controllers included are very similar to NES controllers, a little cheaper, which is fair since they cost so little, I'd say they're still excellent value, the difference in quality between these and a NES controller is slight. I haven't tried the HDMI output, but the RCA output works perfectly like the original. for this price point, this is easily the best value NES clone I could find, and I actually prefer it overall to the analogue NT mini and the like, despite the fact that it costs 5x less.Several reviews say it plays NTSC cartridges, and it does,

Brilliant console for the low price. This doesn't use emulation so that comes with pros/cons.Pros: Plays NES games as you remember them. Beautiful clear picture via HDMI. Plays PAL and NTSC cartridges without any modification. Will play Famicom carts with a convertor. Looks neat and the controllers feel sturdy.Cons: As it's not emulated you can't have save states so those really hard games will remain really hard. You can't change the aspect ratio so the picture will fully fit your tv screen unless your set has the option to change it to 4:3. I dropped a star because of this.

I've used this every day for about two months to play classic NES Tetris, I absolutely love it, super easy to use and attach to the TV! Super good value for money for someone wanting to dip their toes into classic Tetris!one of the remotes seemed to stop working a few months ago but that wasn't an issue for me as i only need one remote at a time so i just plugged the spare one in! idk what i'd do if they both properly broke though, i wouldn't be able to survive without Tetris in my daily routine at this point!!!!

I love this NES console replacement.Works with 25 games that I have tested so far.I would 100% recommend it especially at low price.Nice to be able to play without the original power supply catching fire.Just one downside, one of the controllers that came with the console was dead.Not worth the effort to get replacement or send back.But I will use original controllers instead.Many thanks

This unit is a lot smaller than I expected it to be, but it definitely appears to be well made and I bought a couple of NES games to go in there. The games both play fine and the controllers are the same design as the original NES.The unit costs a lot less than buying a second hand NES but does the same job.Great product!

Really happy with this one, I bought the retro trio TWICE before sending them back as they were both faulty , I already had a megadrive and a SNES in the loft so bought this for my new games, the controllers are excellent and as this is a clone rather than an emulator the game reproduction is perfect even better using hdmi

It's a Nintendo Entertainment System - for modern Televisions.I Have Not Tested Light Gun Games ( have no light gun nor the games ).Takes all my carts and my controller - 2 supplied controllers work well.hours of trouble free gaming.. . . . ( so good I bought it's big brother )

Good piece of hardware. Plays my NES cards.Much cheaper than Retron HD.Works with my original NES controllers.It is not an emulator it is real hardware. Plays few sounds slightly different but not disturbing. Works with my PAL UK cartridges.

A very good version of an NES, the pads are OK, but if you can get some Original pads the better..... top loading is a godsend but if you have a low shelf, it night not fit.All in all well worth it, go and buy one and dont miss out.

this is a nice and compact nes that plays all the games i have chucked at it apart from the unofficial ones. not much more to say spot on would buy again

Really good as a replacement for my old NES console. Works well and I would say much better value than the Retron HD (which I also own).
