This is a toy submersible that actually works! You make it submerge by squeezing a hand pump to get all of the air out from the sub, when it's underwater you turn on the propeller to make it move around of it's own volition and then you press a red button to put air back in and the whole thing re-surfaces. Educational and fun so parents and kids are happy. As ever, with Playmobil, it comes with lots of tiny bits that will probably get lost along the way, but my son's only interested in the actual sub so he probably won't even notice. He's 4 and he loves it - as does his 7 year old sister, though she'd never admit it!

Our 4 year old son had been asking for a submarine for a while and has been a fan of Playmobile for the last year or so.At first the submarine seemed quite complicated to put together and operate, however with a bit of practice it was soon running backwards and forwards underwater collecting the sunken 'treasure'.The air tanks are a great idea, allowing the submarine to be raised and lowered underwater to give a true sense of how a real submarine operates.If your looking for a great fun toy to enteratain at bath times, and are happy to have the bath nice and deep, then this is the toy for you.

My grandson loves this. It is well made so that it submerges and floats on command, well balanced so it stays level. The hatch is watertight so no leaks. Some very happy bathtimes.
