The box says 4+ years, it is too difficult for a child to build. The connecting lugs need strength to clip into the mouldings even with the tool provided. We, the grandparents, had to build the main building. The children, 9 & 6 yrs got bored. In lego the pieces for each stage are in numbered bags,Playmobil mix the pieces up and you can have to look in several bags to get the correct pieces for each building stage.So the model is great for children. The building stage is adult only.

I bought this at a low price and so it was worth it, I have to be honest I wouldn't have been happy if I had paid the price it usually is - it's not worth that much. We haven't got much room and so not easy to store - I had to take it apart as the enclosures don't have bases they're just fences and so you can't pick it up it will just fall apart. It does take a while to put together but instructions are easy to follow. There's lots of little bits with it, my kids enjoyed it

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it! It’s strong in construction and pretty simple to make. It is a little time consuming to construct but made simple with a really good illustrated booklet. I really have no bad points but I will say it comes with a lot of small assessories that will get lost when the kids are playing. This is a fantastic toy that’ll keep the kids entertained for hours

Got my son this for his 5th Birthday. He loves it, it did take some time to put together so an older child may enjoy that side a bit more but I enjoyed building it, instructions were easy to follow.The animals are great and all the pieces are lovely to playwith. We really like playmobil it is good quality and vibrant. It is worth the money we have all had lots of fun with it already ;)

This large zoo pack of Playmobil is superb. The only down side is that it takes quite a long time to build in the first instance even for adults. It’s classified as Age +4 but no 4 year old could ever assemble it However once it is built its very robust and full of lovely colourful detail. My grand kids love it.You will have to find somewhere to keep it set up though.

Brought this for my 3 year old autistic daughter. We got it for half price it was a right bargain! I would of happily payed full price if it wasn’t on offer. My daughter absolutely loves Lego duplo and this is very similar it’s a massive hit! Hours of entertainment has been spent on this toy. Will be adding more sets for Christmas and birthday presents!

This was a great present for my sons 4th birthday, although beware it took me about 2 hrs to put together. This has so many animals in it, was great value for money and he loves it. Keep the instructions close by though as he has pulled it apart to tidy it away twice and without the instructions you’d struggle to get it back together again

This is the first Playmobil product I’ve purchased for either my children or grandchildren and I never thought the quality was this good, the detail, the number of pieces and the overall quality is amazing to say the least. I only thought Lego were at this level but Playmobil is at the top of my list for future gifts for my grandchildren.

We absolutely love playing with this it's amazing and well worth the money. This is our first playmomobil play set and will definitely be buying more. Very good construction with easy to follow steps but if you are not good at assembling things then stay clear or have someone who is on standby... it has about one million pieces!!!

Little boy is really enjoying this playmobil. Plays with it everyday since he got it. Keeps his attention for more than 5 minutes which rarely happens. It's a large set lots of animals, figures, trees and props to play with. Only thing to keep in mind is it has small parts which might be unsuitable for small children.

You cannot go wrong with Playmobil! This must have been the most loved Christmas present for my grandson! He was so excited! It took a while to put together but well worth the effort. A fantastic buy and would thoroughly recommend it. Excellent quality. Bought the penguin set to go with it. He loved this too.

7 year old daughter got this as Christmas present from her grandparents and has spent the last 2 days building and playing with it with her two older brothers. Lots of pieces, pandas were popular as was the balloon. With the addition of the playmobil animals we already have this will be an extensive zoo

This set is incredible! It's huge, it had so many tiny details and it's perfect for my mini zoologist in the making. I cannot get over the value for money this toy represents and the amount of imaginative play it encourages is unreal. Very happy Mum and mind blown child!

This playmobil set is amazing!!!The zoo is really detailed. My daughter loves it already and we have only just set it up. Playmobil is always beautifully made and I love their products. I bought this is Argos Black Friday deals and I am chuffed with it. Total bargain

I've only looked inside of the box as it's a Christmas gift but the box is huge and there are loads of items included plenty to keep my 8 year old daughter entertained very pleased as brought it in the sale highly recommend for any Playmobil fan Big and small
