Playmobil create such detailed toys, and this Summer Fun camper van is another great example.Straight out of the box you get a few packs of parts, there isn't as much assembly to this, unlike some other sets. You just pop the wheels on, add a table, toilet seat, wing mirrors and roof bars and you're good to go. The most fiddly part is probably putting the ten stickers on the food containers and the camper van.A family of four (Mum, Dad, Son and Daughter) are supplied, complete with flip flops for the females. Then it's all about packing up the camper van ready for their first trip. As with all camper vans there is a place for everything and everything in its place.

I have to admit that I was sorely tempted to write a review at the point of opening the box. The 'Summer Fun' label doesn't seem to do justice to this set.You really do get exactly what it says on the box, with a fun-packed camper van and even the smallest accessories, that makes for great playability.Yes, smaller kids will need supervision (and a helping hand) in assembly, but there's nothing complicated. Fit the wheels, line up the stickers, then set about packing the family (two adults and two kids) on their mini-scale adventures. I think the lower age recommendation of 4 year old is spot on. Everything works or integrates as you might hope, with the figures and accessories,

This is classic play stuff that hasn't changed in decades because it's just so spot on! The camper is large and sturdy and cram packed full of stuff in the way a proper camper is, the roof comes off to open up the space and then you can take the layers of bedding off to get to the living spaces, bathroom, kitchen which all have places to store the things you need on holidays and you need these spaces to keep all your little bits and bobs that come with the set.Every inch of this van is playable with including the boot which has a buggy and surf board.The van takes only a few minutes to prepare with stickers and collecting all your little things together.

When I was little I was obsessed with camper vans and always wished I could have one. Well now I do, but for my daughter!There is minimal assembly for this set, you just a need to add stickers, the wheels and some accessories.The camper sits and sleeps all four family members. It comes with four beds, a table, four chairs, dishes, cutlery and food. The Mum and daughter have slip on sandals. There is a camera, surfboard and scooter for the family to use. There are some neat details such as a pull out faucet for the sink in the kitchen area, a toilet and shower in the bathroom and two fire extinguishers!

Playmobil have been around for as long as I can remember, my children still play with figures and toys from the range that have been handed down and are over 15 years old.This Playmobil Summer Camper van is easy to assemble and can provide hours of fun and play, stimulating young imaginations. The camper is a good size definitely robust and comes with a family of figures and camping accessories.When you sit back and consider the price and the longevity of the toy it is very good value. We have pirates manning ambulances, roman soldiers flying aircraft and knights driving police cars. These toys last and will give years of pleasure. My two children have never been disappointed with Playmobil toys.One minor point though,

After spending a summer in the US, my son was obsessed with motor homes. My 4 year-old son loves this. He is always putting daddy on the toilet, and mommy in the kitchen however. Daddy does dishes on occasion thought. The only fault after a few months of play is that when the cord from the sink is pulled out, it does not go back in. So, we have an extra-long dish-washing faucet. All of the silverware can't fit at the table, but if they were any smaller we'd never be able to find them. Product did require some assembly so be sure to do that before giving it to your impatient child. I liked all of the different sleeping and eating options.

There's something really satisfying, even for an adult, about this camper van. The way all the little accessories pack away under roof top box or beds is fun, and after minimal assembly if some wheels and stickers you are ready to hit the road. Like all playmobil, of which we have mryiad sets, the 4 figures can hold items and interact with the accessories. The surfboard, mini food, tiny sink, chairs and tables are all fun. The top lifts off to put everything away; everything has a place and there's even a fire extinguisher for safe camping!Some of the pieces are tiny, hence the age 4 guideline. 10 is probably the upper level. This is a great toy for imaginative play, either by itself or with other sets.

Grandson loved this lots of detail and even though the small parts had been removed as he's only 2 there was still plenty to play with each time he has visited you would think it was his first time of playing with it. I didn't even notice the shower but there he was giving all the family a pretend wash. The top of the camper can be a bit fiddly for him but he is only 2 so that will come in time and considering this was the first playmobile I had to put together I managed it quite easily. Can't wait until he's older when I can get the smaller parts out the detail is great

this is another great Playmobil set that is a family on holiday in there camper van. there is so much detail to this playset from the van itself which is fitted out with lots of extras such as kitchen area, sleeping area which you get to be removing the roof. then you have lots of small accessories such as crockery and cutlery, some food items, scooter, surf board and even a fire extinguisher! 93 pieces in total inc figures. my 6 year old niece really loves playing with this and her imagination runs wild! not suitable for younger children though due to the small parts.

This camping set is perfect for hours of fun and imaginative play. The camper sleeps four and comes with loads of accessories and furniture such as tables, chairs, dishes and food.There is minimal building, just wheels and stickers, which is a bonus in any parent's book!!There is a space for everything so you can pack all the accessories away and the roof removes to tidy up with ease!The attention to detail is fantastic and even includes a fire extinguisher.Small pieces mean choking hazards so mind little ones, it is recommended for ages four and up.

This is a brilliant Playmobil set that will allow for hours of imaginative play. As with most Playmobil there are some very small pieces included and for slightly younger children I would encourage some parental supervision to ensure that they aren’t eaten, put in noses or into ears. I find it an endless task to keep the various pieces contained effectively for some of the other collections we have, but as everything for the Camper is stored within it this means it not such a soul destroying task trying to remember what goes where!!

This Playmobil set has lots of detailed features, including many items of furniture and other accessories that all fit into places within the main camper van. As with all of this range, it's well made and durable, and should provide scope for much imaginative play. Setup is fairly minimal, mostly just applying a few stickers and fixing some wheels, so for children who enjoy the construction part most, it's perhaps not the most engaging, but for those who enjoy playing with the finished product, it's great.

My children have an ever expanding collection of playmobil and it's brilliant for using their imagination. It can absorb them for literally hours.This camper van is brilliant. It's a good size. It takes only minutes until it's ready to play with out of the box.It has lots of small pieces so be careful around younger children. There are loads of accessories making it a really good toy with lots of games to be created around it. The accessories can be tidied away within the van itself.Would recommend.

Bought this for my grandson's fourth birthday. As we (his Nanny and Grandad) have a motorhome he says we are the adults and he and his brother the children. There is so much detail in the set like crockery, cutlery, beds, fire extinguisher etc. They are both having great fun making up stories of their motorhome visits and amalgamating it with other Playmobil sets; treehouse, police van etc. There's even a bear in there somewhere which I hope we don't encounter on our real motorhome holidays!

Absolutely love this, My 4 year old sits and plays with the PlayMobil stuff for hours. All of them require some adult assembly which isn't too difficult. This one does have small bits and pieces and is definitely unsuitable for dinky people. The figures are well made, colourful and appealing. The realism of this is very cute and appeals to the imagination of my little girl. I think the only thing that could add to these toys would be a pouch to put all the bits in! Awesome!
