Borrowed this from a friend, and then took way longer to give back, because this is so good. Underrated is the right word for this. Such a beautiful world. My 4 year old loved watching me play through this. It's a classic real time strategy, but unlike in a lot of the other RTS games, you really feel bad about losing any of your little Pikmin. The visuals are stunning, Nintendo have this amazing habit of creating phenomenal looking worlds. Pikmin feels like Honey I shrunk the kids). While there is a time limit, and all the pressure around that, it is such a mesmerising environment that it doesn't feel pressured in the same way. I felt like a small kid when playing through this.

I got this as a free download when I bought the the Wii U and what a refreshing game.I had not played any of the other Pikmin games so wasn't sure what to expect but this has been one of my favourite games on the Wii U.A quirky mix of kind of RTS, puzzle solving, exploration and a decent enough story line keep me coming back. The way the game is split up into days means you can take as long as you want (sort of) to work through it and can dip in and out as you have time. Players can take the game as their own pace and style and either rush through the story or spend time exploring and collecting all the hidden items as they wish.

One of the top 5 best games ever madeI have had all consoles since the NES over 26 years ago, I have played hundreds of games, and this one is in my top 5, definitely best strategy game ever made in all platforms including PCBeautiful graphics, beautiful sound, very immersive, fantastic gameplay, great challenges and most of all, a unique concept, this is what we need, new concepts, something different than the usual shooters.The wiiU is worth for this game alone. Better than any game released so far on the Ps4, xbox and switch.This game is one of the reasons I still prefer my wiiU over my switch

My son loves this game and the style of the graphics in particular. There is a degree of planning involved that belies the cute looking introduction and this in turn may catch out younger players who will have to wait for certain events to take place. Rather than a race to the end it encourages you to think about what you are doing and manage resources a little.My only worry is the replay value of the game as I suspect that once you have cleared the challenges there is not much left there to do.

Firstly the story mode is slow and frustrating for younger players but once you get to the missions and bingo battle modes the game is very playable and highly addictive. You will have to pay to unlock the further missions but we found it was well worth the extra as the game was a bargain price to start with from this listing. It’s had hours of game play but we still aren’t tired of it.

Birthday present for nephew having seen it played by ZacScottGames on Youtube.Never played a Pikmin game before, so cannot compare it to previous 2 or the new Hey Pikmin on 3/2DS.Overall pleased with this. Controls are easy enough, looks nice, plays great.

Good game bit tricky to start with getting used to buttons my daughter whos 5 can play it. Although it does say 3 years and up on the case there is alot of reading. I think pikmin on the game cube was the best

Fantastic game for all the family!Can’t seem to tear my son away (or my partner!). Also has some fun multiplayer mini games :)Was disappointed to see you couldn’t play the main game with two players though.

Most underrated franchise ever. Honestly this game is a must have for wii u owners. Beautiful game with beautiful art and superb concept. Lots of content and kind of addictive as wel. Really recommended

What an adorable game. I am hooked on it already, which means bad things for my university work... haha! But seriously, a well rounded, fun game that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Very basic game, simple puzzles, but decent fun and nice to look at, don't expect it to keep you going for weeks but it's a nice distraction from the dark and cold world outside.

I played nearly all the games produced by Nintendo for Wii u. If this isn't the best, it's in the top 2. Dripping in Nintendo magic. You can tell Miyamoto produced it.
