The best LED I have found for table lamps connected to dimmers. The bulb dims down to a dull glow and becomes warmer in colour too, although not as much as an old incandescent bulb. The undimmed light is a bit harsh, like a clear filament bulb. This does not work so well in an open lampshade, but I have not found a frosted equivalent as yet.

Really nice light. Compact and bright enough to replace an E27 filament candle bulb.Suits my glass enclosed fisherman's light really well.Bought to replace a lesser brand LED, which failed after just one year. Sticking with Philips from now on.

Nice lamp. I have a few of the larger lamps in this range and the good thing is the warming of the colour when they are dimmed. Originally one of the lamps in the pair I bought buzzed a lot but Amazon simply swapped it.

It is a best Philips Master Led bulbs ever, the smart design mimics the traditional light bulbs way of getting light from those metal threads inside. It's great and it's natural light.

I am very pleased with my led lights, they give a good light for my landing ,which is a lot a better than my previous one which i got when i bought the light.

These bulbs emit a very good warm light and are a good equivalent to our old bulbs for the dining room. Recommended.

Gives a lovely warm white light the only thing I don't have a dimmer switch so i don't no how it dimmer

I'd say the light output from this is closer to 60w, not 40w.
