Great bulb with high light output. Finally got around to adding a small touch-activated dimming circuit to my desk lamp and the bulb dims as expected. Only downside with this bulb is the length. Unless you have quite a substantial lamp shade, the bulb can protrude, which in the case of my desk lamp, causes bright light within my line of sight unless angled just right.

They are nice quality and dim nice and smoothly although the range between full beam and full dim is nowhere near as broad as with the normal incandescent reflector bulbs. I also notice that the bulb still gets pretty hot....I like the thought of LEDs producing no heat at all. Maybe the technology isn't there yet...

I have tried several makes of led bulbs which claim to be suitable for use with a dimmer. These are the only ones that don't buzz or flicker or both. Expensive but there is not really any substitute. Highly recommended.

Excellent strong reading light whilst keeping the lamp shade and fittings cool. So much more efficient than the old halogen I had been using needlessly.

Doesn't buzz on dimmed as much as others, it's not silent but it's pretty quiet, which was the main reason for ordering this.

Very bright and good quality, just disappointed in the colour temperature which for me is a bit too yellowy.
