Yet another great Philips Hue product that’s easy to setup and use.I replaced the filament lamp I purchased with my new floor mounted lamp as it just wasn’t bright enough for what we needed.The new Hue lamp works perfectly as it’s dimmable, I’ve taken it down to the minimum setting and up through the percentages without any flicker as mentioned by others. They may have fixed the issue or maybe i got lucky.At 100% my wife is able to continue her work while I watch a movie without the glare from the whole room lights.The packaging it comes in holds the lamp tight in the Centre of the box and secure.I have more Hue lighting around the house so setup was easy I just added another light in the app.

I've been waiting a while for Philips to give their take on a traditional filament bulb to fit into my hue setup and these lights don't disappoint.What I love about these is that Philips has been faithful to the aesthetics and tone of traditional filament bulbs. The power output is low in comparison to other hue bulbs, but this is part of the charm of a filament bulb. The tone is a steady warm white (they don't offer different colours or different white hues - only warm white) and when dimmed low the spiral filament is gorgeous.They are perfect for lamps, naked light fittings and feature lights but are unlikely to replace traditional ceiling lights due to their relatively low power output.

I will say that I was surprised at how expensive these bulbs were. However they are worth it! They look lovely and are a really nice size and shape - certainly make a statement. You download the Philips hue Bluetooth app and control them from your phone, and you can control them with Alexa. I wasn’t aware that they are dimmable but it’s a really lovely touch. You can manually change the brightness to your preferred setting or choose a nightlight, dimmed or bright option. We will be buying more Philips hue bulbs for the rest of our home.

I love the look of bulb. I do not really use it for a practical light to illuminate an area but rather a showcase light to add something behind me when I am recoding YouTube videos. I love that it can be dimmed down so low. Also I like the fact that Philips Hue give the option to restore last state the bulb was in when you have a power cut. However this would have been perfect if only it had the option to change colour temperature of the light from warm to cool white light?

These bulbs are absolutely beautiful, emiting lovely, warm light. Can be quite bridge at max brightness, so much so that it's difficult to look directly at them, but can be obviously dimmed.Can be controlled with your smartphone either via bluetooth, or if you have Philips Hue hub/Ikea gateway or Amazon echo plus (any Zigbyy compatible gateway) via wifi/internet. One thing: if you connect it with Ikea gateway the bulb won't be available in HomeKit, but it will in Alexa.

This was the perfect addition to my office/man-cave. I have an Alexa dot in there that I use as speaker too to watch movies and when I am using the computer. Now I can also control the light and adjust the brightness to set the mood. To me is bright enough, but I was never a fan of replicating the sun indoors, so this is personal preference I guess. Super easy to install just like a regular bulb, then download either the HUE app or use the Alexa app to connect to it.

Looks great and works well out of the box. It flickers from time to time and requires a change in brightness away from the current setting and back a few seconds later to cure.My brother has the same issues on the smaller version of these lights. He has nearly 50 hue bulbs around his home and only these new style ones have this flickering trait.

Wow these bulbs are amazing. I love the light emitted from them. They were really easy to set up and look fantastic. Not as bright as the other hue bulbs, more of a warm white which I love. They make the room very cozy. They are so nice that I purchased 2 more for the living room Definitely recommend

Although I sent this product back because I didn't read the description properly, I would like to say how good it looks and feels. I only sent it back because it was quite a bit bigger than I was anticipating. I was expecting a normal size lamp but this decorative one is about twice the size.

Extremely easy to set up and program. Additionally to this, the filament is bright and provides an adequate amount of light although to be able to see the filament the brightness has to be very low with can sometimes make the room to dark but overall very good product.

Nice designed Edison lamp within the Hue ecosystem. It is the first Hue lamp I bought with Bluetooth, but it also works with the older lamps and hub. The light is more a warm yellow then a warm white. The colour is maybe not suitable for every room.

Love this bulb. Lovely and bright when you need it to be, and dim enough to be comfortable at night.Even on full brightness you can see the spiral of the led's inside.Gave me the exact look that I wanted when fitted into a glass bowl style lamp.

I really like these bulbs, I was waiting for Hue to release a bulb like this for my dining room!Really easy to setup as you would expect from Hue. The only thing that could make this better would be to be a full colour bulb.

Fab. Looks amazing and works really well with my other Philips Hue lights.I’ve not experienced any of the flickering or buzzing that other users have reported on low light level with this bulb which is nice.

A great addition to my Hue system, looks perfect in a naked floor lamp creating a super look in a previously dark corner. I have it set to its lowest setting and I haven't noticed any flicker. Recommneded.
