Was looking for a contemporary outdoor light that took a normal lamp (wanted to put a HUE lamp in it) but everything I looked at was already an LED Lamp - anything else that took a lamp was ugly or old fashioned. Found this on Philips Website first and thought I'd check out the prices. Its expensive, very expensive compared to other LED lights - especially as its all plastic, but the fact its 50% brighter than a normal HUE Lamp, looks classy and can be controlled suits me. Nice light.

Sleak, contemporary good looks and gives off a decent amount of light. I added an outdoor motion sensor to my setup also, so this light stays on all through the night at 30% brightness and then switches to full for 5 minutes when motion is detected. Does a good job of lighting most of the back garden. My first foray into Hue and so far so good.
