I ordered the Chain Fence with Solar Lights Two LED Lamps Two Poles to border a wild section of the garden. The lights arrived promptly and on unpacking there were several sections requiring assembly but no instructions - not a big issue as relatively easy by looking at the product image. The sections are all made of reasonably strong plastic and slotted together easily, some parts seem a bit loose and flimsy, but when assembled look ok. The chains attach to the lights by a small hook located on either side of one of the poles and The solar light panels must be charged before the lights will work, to do this, turn the lamp upside down and turn the base until it opens, the switch is located underneath,turn this to on then replace the base and place it on top of a pole. Place the lights in a sunny location to charge.The earth in my garden is pretty compacted especially in the 'wild' section which hasn't been touched for years, so had to use a fair amount of pressure to get the stake sections of the fence and lights into the ground, as the poles feel quite flimsy and the posts wobble when doing this I was wary of putting too much pressure onto them, in hindsight, it would be better to set out the fence into position on it's side, then remove the stakes and push them in firmly before slotting the poles onto the stakes. If you have loose garden soil, this should not be required.Most solar lights take several hours to charge sufficiently to work, not sure if these had been pre-charged as did not check, but I set up the lights during an overcast late afternoon and was delighted to see them come on at dusk and lasted until 2am (no idea if they were still alight after that!). Only had them for a few days and they look lovely and work perfectly. My garden is very sheltered so no idea how they will stand up to a strong wind - am tempted to use a bit of black gaffa tape around the pole joints to strengthen them but will see how they fare on their own but nice as a garden ornament.21 Sept 2015 UpdateThese lights have received lots of attention and positive comments without anyone seeing them lit up at night! The only negative point is that one of the lights has failed - no matter where I put it to charge in the daytime, it does not light up in the evening. I have ordered a new battery for it so will update this again if that resolves the issue.

Well made lights that look great in the garden. Poor instructions regarding charging as they say switch lights to off until fully charged but it does not show where the switch is. Searched on internet and found how to locate switch. Single led that is quite bright but does not illuminate the surroundings. Time will tell how long they will last. Going to remove them from the Autumn and store them in garage until next spring.

i love these, they look lovely in my garden down the drive... but i did need to glue each joint which worked wonders, until the heavy snow fall this year. when the snow came off the roof it landed straight on them and broke them. i have now bought some 28mm broom handles cut them in half and painted them black. proper sturdy now. now i love them once again and everyone comments on how lovely they look

I just wanted this little set to separate my parking space from the neighbours and the little solar lights are perfect when he is parking at night. I put metal tubes through them which were cemented in when I had the block paving done, didn’t use the joints and taped each section with weather proof tape then popped them over the tubes. Fantastic value.

bought these just to see if they would do the job needed edging our lawn and path way to decking and we are absolutely delighted with them they are so bright that they light the entire path superb,they are good to look at and good quality, I must say I glued each piece of the shaft together once I placed them not moved ,five star AAAAA+++++.

This looks lovely in the garden, the lights are very bright, and were still lit in the morning.A lack of instructions is unimportant as it is so easy to assemble using just common sense.Yes, it’s a bit flimsy, but stood up to some fierce winds recently.I’m considering reordering for another part of my garden.

Lovely ehrn lit upbut the poles are flimsy and because the garden area is slopped the posts with the solar lantern bend over because of the weight so Im gojng to have to strengthen the poles. But light up great

We love this chain fencing with solar lights on but unfortunately we had 1 spike missing and 1 solar light doesn't work at all. Apart from that i would 100% recommend them

These were so nice. Such good quality as well. Sadly one piece was missing but has since been resolved. I wish now I had seen them earlier.. Thank you for a great product.

Great product but very wobbly. Assembled correctly but just need a bit of glue to strengthen. Lasts all night and not too bright to keep me awake.
