I found these lights ( I purchased 2 ) to be of good quality. I found that having a separate wall bracket which you fit first & plug in connecter for the light unit made them much easier to fit so you are not trying to hang on to the light unit & connect the wires into the terminals whilst hanging on the ladder ( very good idea well thought out by the manufacturer, well done ) The sensor works very well, it is easy to adjust for dawn to dusk & time ( 10 secs to 35 mins ) & also completely directional ( I set my first light to sense as you open the back door & the other light to sense a much wider span, perfect for my needs )

Fantastic. Steinel are a top manufcaturer and you'll recognise this as soon as you open the box. The fitting is a good size, but not massive and is pleasing to look at (it's not an ugly monster like many are!). It's completely adjustable in height and angle for the light and the sensor. Plus it's a mid range kelvin value so it's not too stark (like a 6000k fitting would be) - 4000K is just right. It sheds good light and the switched input allows the fitting to switch other simialr lights also. I installed 3 the other week and they're great. I'd bought Steinel before due to the quality and will continue to do so. Also their UK customer support (Thanks Lee Martin!)

The light has been installed for 3-4 weeks and has worked as it should the whole time.My only complaint would be that the three controls for sensitivity, brightness etc, are very difficult to adjust since they are positioned underneath the unit, and once installed are very awkward to see clearly together with the fact that they do not have a suitable flange to enable minor hand adjustments.

The quality of the floodlight was first class, the adjustment the light, the daylight sensor and the timer were all simple and with an excellent range. The light output is very even and bright. Not cheap but I feel it was worth it.

I like the design which is very sleek. This replaced a Steinel spotlight that failed and when I researched I couldn't find anything that looks as good. Easy to fit. It's expensive but you nothing looks as neat. Recommended

ease of installation, ease of getting motion sensor to work. However, setting the dusk/daylight sensor takes more time as each time you move a little, it's not linear, so you find yourself going back and forth a lot.

Looks great and cast a good light. The only improvement would be the range of the sensor, I have a long drive and it doesn't pick up and approaching person/car until around 20 to 30 feet away.

I haven't actually installed this yet. However, I have installed other Steinel products and they have been flawless so I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Perfect. Could not decide between this one and the smart version. But this one was 20W, and a spotlight needs to be bright! The smart one was only 14W...

I brought these to replace the LAP lights from screwfix. these were a pleasure to install, look and feel top quality but you pay for that.

Replaced multiple cheaper units. This is great definitely recommend. Very bright and works well.
