It is great, but we got sent one with scratched metal first time, which we returned. The second one came with smashed glass and the third one was a winner. If we didn't already have a matching one, might not have persevered but nice bright but not dazzling wall-light and a better option for us than an uplighter. All being said, the replacement process worked fine and happy with the light.

This is a lovely quality glass lampshade and does look wonderful on the wall - my only reservation is that the bulbs do not light up the whole of the glass and so there is a dull edge on each side when the light is switched on . I have mixed with brighter lights from the same range to use when more subdued lighting is required.

The light is larger than it looks and the build quality is excellent, but with twin 8 watt tubes the illumination is less than I personally expected. Well worth the price, I mounted ours horizontally and it looks stunning. Philips can make quality products and this is one of them.

Thin wall lights not in the way. I am satisfied. Would by again.Also color of light is great.-jack
