We have two small children who have both been breast fed, but whenever we have needed to provide a top up or bottle feed breast milk we have used Avent bottles and these do not disappoint. As with most Avent products they are designed to be as easy to use as possible. They come apart quickly and the wider neck means the interior of the bottle is easy to clean. The teats themselves are easy to remove and you can buy them in a variety of sizes to ensure you use the bottles right through the beginning months and beyond. There are no extra components to this bottle either, it is just the bottle, teat, screw on lid and the protective lid meaning you are less likely to end up rummaging around at 2.00am because you have lost part of the bottle. The teat supplied with this pack is a size 2 so not the smallest available and they are designed to be used from one month old. There are a further 3 sizes you can go up with these bottles giving them a great flexibility as your child gets older. The bottles themselves are a nice size, they hold up to 260ml or 9oz and they have clear markings on the side so you can easily measure the correct amount. As with other Avent bottles these markings are printed in a dark colour and so easy to see when the bottle is empty and full. I have found some bottles where the measurements are in raised plastic harder to read at speed so this is a nice plus for me. The bottles and teats are durable and well constructed - no leaks so far - and the anti colic system is fantastic.I'm not entirely sure why the bottles need to be pink (or indeed blue) as the idea gender coloured bottles doesn't sit that well with me, but that said from a practical point of view as the plastic is coloured it does make them easier to find in the cupboard and also easier to identify if you are out and about. If you are the person with the pink or blue bottle it will be harder for someone to pick up the wrong one or for it to get lost. Personally I would love Avent to produce a rainbow set of bottles as this would be practical and look amazing. As always these are great products that look good and function well, some of the best out there.

Life would be easy if it all came in two shades – pink or blue. For the new parent it sometimes feels like these are the only options if you want to get something with a little colour; blue for a boy, or pink for a girl. This is 2015 so the idea that one colour donates a particular gender should not really matter anymore, but it is nice to have a colour bottle like the ‘Philips Avent Classic+ Blue/Pink Feeding Bottle’. The different shades are identical in every way (apart from in colour) and actually mimic the clear ‘Classic+’ range; meaning that the quality is retained throughout.‘Classic+' is a great quality range of bottles. An individual bottle is not overly cheap, but they should easily last the lifespan they are required, including countless sterilisation cycles. You can easily change the teats on the bottle for when your baby gets older or when they break a little. These packs come with the second size as standard, which is suitable after the first month. If you have a new born it is worth thinking about picking up a number one teat, or buying a starter bottle or two. For those people who have bought different elements of the 'Avent' range, these ranges fit in with the rest very easily. This particular range of bottle is the + which means that they have a special teat that reduces colic. Having not really used a colic inducing bottle it is hard to say how well these work, but as an actual feeding bottle it works very well. There are simple measures on the side of the bottles and a short guide on how best to use them in the pack. The ‘Advent Classic +’ is a great range and these bottle fit in with that, the only real misgiving is whether you care about gender based colours. I for one will quite happily use a blue bottle with a pink girl.

This is a great set of 2 delicate blue shade, 9oz feeding bottles. The teats are soft and have a natural nipple shape. The teats are also clinically proven to reduce colic due to the design, which has a valve that flexes as baby suckles, meaning that air flows back into the bottle instead of into babies tummy. Teats are recommended to be replaced every 3 months, due to hygienic reasons. The teats on these have slow flow rate to suit young babies suckle rate, they have two holes in the end and are recommended for use from 1 month, you can buy extra teats that have a lower flow rate from birth and higher flow rates as your baby grows (extra teats are available separately). The teats are available in most shops that sell baby bottles in the Avent range and they are colour coded so you can easily identify the different teat flow rates and age for recommended use.The Avent range of bottles are really easy to assemble and lids are interchangeable between the classic range of bottles and sippy cup lids. You can even attach the Avent breast pump lid to these bottles and pump straight into the bottle, so there is no need for separate storage bottles for pumping breast milk. The bottle is comfortable to hold and the wide neck means it is easy to clean. I have used these bottles in a microwave steam sterilizer safely too.Avent is a trusted brand recommended by mums and I am a mum of 4 who has been using the Avent range for over 10 years and I am very happy to recommend their products.

The Philips Avent Classic and Pink Bottle set contains two 9oz/260ml bottles, with a light pink colour to them. I was quite excited to get these to try, because I have not long had a second daughter, and I feel like I can do away with neutral colours now that I had saved for 'in case we had a boy'. Not that I would have been massively adverse to trying the blue colour either, as gender stereotyping doesn't bother me either way. I just think that adding a splash of colour has livened up the standard look of the bottles.Included with the bottles are size 2 teats, which are suitable from roughly one month upwards. You can change teat sizes as baby grows, thus discouraging needless waste of entire bottles. The teats feature the anti colic system for which Avent have become renowned. This helps to prevent extra air getting into baby, and keeps baby feeling more comfortable than they might otherwise feel. The bottles and teats are tremendously easy to clean, and a quick swish with an Avent bottle brush end tip, will safely clean out the teat valve, without damaging it in any way.Overall, I cannot find anything to fault with these great bottles. I find that Avent bottles and teats are very durable, and I believe that these coloured version will be just as long-lasting as previous ones. Great quality for baby.

This classic plus bottle set consists of two 260ml/9oz bottles which are suitable from around one month old. They come with size 2 teats which are the second teat size that Philips Avent do and again are suitable from one month old. As your baby grows you can swap the teats for the next sizes up and so the bottles should last until your baby is fully weaned. The bottle's have both ml and fluid UK and USA oz measurements. The bottles also have an anti colic valve system on the teat to help reduce the chance of your little one becoming colicky. The valve is tiny in comparison to other brands valves and is built into the teat very discreetly.I always just gently squeeze the valve before use on a new bottle to make sure that the valve is open and not stuck closed from manufacturing and this valve is so tiny it is a little hard to do but can be squeezed. As with other Philips bottles the bottles are really easy to disassemble and assemble with the bottle part, teat ring, teat and lid making up the bottle. The bottles are BPA free, which is normal for the Philips Avent range and fit comfortably in your hand for when feeding your little one. Philips recommend changing the teat every three months or when the teat becomes damaged.Teats are available in:Size 1 - Newborn plus

Philips Avent Classic + Pink Feeding Bottle is one very nice babies bottle which is a good solid plastic bottle with a nice soft silicon teat which is also designed to prevent colic. The little one these are for has suffered mildly from colic and we have actually purchased this same bottle in the plain clear colour. The pink makes the actual bottle stand out from other baby bottles, which for our little princess it makes this a perfect bottle for her. The only thing which had to be changed was the teat as she is only a couple of weeks old. The actual bottle is well detailed in the description which Philips has marketed perfectly as they have shown everything a mother needs to know.ThankfullyPhilips have removed the dreaded rings as their bottles are all made with less parts needed especially those fiddly bits which were always lost or accidentally thrown out. Everything about this bottle is convenience and ease of use, with the comfortable grip for the person to hold when feeding the baby this truly is one excellent babies bottle.I am happy to recommend the Philips Avent Classic Pink feeding bottle especially because of the very clever filter which prevents air being swallowed by the baby which reduces the threat of the dreaded colic.

We’ve been using the Avent brand of bottles and cups for years and they are our first choice for quality. I must confess to being a little biased when it comes to testing out anything in their range, but these slightly tinted 9oz/260ml bottles are just lovely. Although the bottles are lightly coloured in pink or blue, the level of milk can be seen clearly against the darker markings of the graduation lines on the bottle. As with most Avent bottles, they feel really nice and fit smoothly and comfortably in your hand. The teats in this set of two bottles are clearly marked as size 2 – suitable for babies aged from one month - but different sized teats in the Avent+ range will also fit.The teats have been designed with a valve to help reduce colic and anyone who has seen a baby suffer with this painful, distressing condition will value this innovation. The bottle is easily and quickly assembled and the wide neck makes short work of cleaning out dried bits of milk.Once again, Avent have produced a very good quality feeding bottle that has baby’s welfare at the fore. Avent is a brand we trust and I have no hesitation in recommending all the bottles and cups in their range. Well worthy of five stars.

The name Avent is famous with many mothers of young babies. Its a name to be trusted as it truly works for all bottle fed babies. In the box you get 2 bottle for 9 oz formula. Perfect for a newborn who only takes a couple of oz per feed. Or the bottle can be used for cooled boiled water for the older baby. The bottles have measures in metric and oz so its perfect for grannies and new mums alike. Being a grandma i find the oz easier to use when mixing formula for the grandchildren. These bottles are perfect for the first 6 months of a babies life if they are bottle fed. They can then go on to the sip cubs by Avent which are brilliant for cooled boiled water or follow on milk. The bottles all have teats suitable for a newborn, and the bottle cups to keep the teat clean and sterile. All in all this a quality starter set for any new baby. The bottles are top quality and will last your baby for as long as you want to give it a bottle and teat.

Love the shape and love the new style teat and top so it no longer has the extra ring, so no more searching for a ring to insert. I like how I can use his sippy cup lid with these bottles and that all Advent bottles and sippy cup lids are interchangeable. This is a set of 2 x 260ml/9oz baby blue bottles. The colour is lovely, pale blue but clear, you can still see inside the bottle. My grandsons eyes lit up when he saw them and said 'oh wow' (his new word of the month). So when he no longer needs the teats on bottles (they are his comfort dummy), I can use them with his sippy cup lid.A truly attractive looking bottle, that looks rather special and classy, besides his penguin sippy cup this is by far his favourite set. They dont leak, are good against colic and will release milk/juice/water at the pace your baby or toddler sets. The teats in this set are from the age of 1 month.

Pretty much everything we have is Philips Avent, we had some Avent Classic bottles when our baby was born and they were a nuisance to use as if you didn't use the sealing disc, they would leak everywhere. So we switched to Avent Natural. These bottles however don't seem to need the sealing disc. The teats they come with are level 2 however they are easy to change (and cheap to buy), and the tops of other Philips Avent bottles / beakers can be used with the base of this. They are a bit chunkier than the Philips Avent Natural (which is taller but curvier) which even at 19 months our son finds a lot easier to hold which is why I have not given this product the full 5 stars.I can also only fit 4 of these in the electric steam steriliser (vs 5 or 6 or the Natural range).

This pack includes two Avent bottles, which hold 260ml/9oz. Like all Avent bottles, they are easy to assemble and clean. The wide neck means you can clean the bottles much easier than those with a narrow neck and the teats pull through snugly and fit well, with no milk dribbling from the sides and without the teat ‘pulling through’.These are suitable from 1m+, but you can, of course, change the teats as your baby grows and they should be replaced every three months anyway. These bottles are extremely cute as they have a pretty, pink tint, making them ideal for the little girl in your life. A blue version is also available for boys.Very pretty as well as being comfortable to hold and designed to reduce colic in babies.

I'm not quite sure why you would want these over the standard plain bottles - these Avent bottles last without cracking and you may find yourself feeding your next baby with a non gender stereotypical bottle. Which is fine of course but in all things baby it's perhaps better to go neutral so you can reuse, loan or resell them easily. The pink is very transparent so it's still easy to clean the bottle with no milky residue lurking where you can't see it.These are much improved without the internal rings which always got lost in our house and were just another thing to clean. There's just a simple pink bottle, teat, screw on lid and clear plastic lid.Strange Advent didn't go the whole hog and make the cap pink too.

As a standard bottle, you really can't go wrong with the Event Classic+ from Phillips. Available in clear, pink & blue & in two sizes, this one, the 9oz is the bigger of the two. With a range of teat sizes, the included one being a 2, this really is a bottle that will see baby through to weaning from newborn. Teats are strong enough to withstand new teeth, regular steam sterilising & scrubbing during washing up. This also applies to the body of the bottle itself, with no fading or scratching. All parts fit together nicely, with no leaks during shaking or mixing, unless you fail to seat the teat or lid correctly, as I have done occasionally. All in all though,an ideal bottle for day to day use.

At first I thought the blue colour would simply be purely aesthetic but I have realised that it will come in handy as a marker for many feeds baby has had or if you want to put something different in a bottle to differentiate between more than one child. Aside from that, the anti-colic feeding bottles means there is much less chance of baby having painful trapped wind so winding the baby is a lot less hassle and there's a lot less distress all round. The size of the bottle is about right to hold a big enough feed and fit snugly into your hand and the soft latex teat seems just right for baby. As an added bonus they are really easy to clean by hand or they can go through the dishwasher.

Avent bottles have been the best on the market for many years, these pink beauties will not loose them the ability to make that boast. They are made of the same good quality materials and again are the best for withstanding the stress of use and they do have a lot to put up with, what with the boiling water, steam sterilising and general bashing about either by a little one or in a baby bag swinging from the handle of a buggy. These are easy to clean and I have been known to rinse the bottle out and then pop it in the dishwasher before sterilising. They don't leak and the lid is a snug , good fit that doesn't come off when it is not supposed to.If only all bottles could be this good.
