When it comes to bottles there is not much to write about, but these bottles have a few nice features that I have not seen before.Out of the box the bottle looks sleek, stylish and comfortable to hold. It feels well made and whilst I am not ready to throw it around I feel confident that it won't shatter or crack if dropped onto a solid floor.A chunky thread on the neck ensures a quick assembly with a secure clamping of the teat. As expected teats are interchangeable and replacements can be sought as your child grows. The neck of the bottle is wide and easy to fill even with an unsteady hand. If you are holding the baby and need to fill the bottle one-handed the wide base means that it is lesslikely to topple over. The baby latched onto the teat as well as any other I have used and didn't seem to have any trouble getting a feed. Where this comes into its own is the air vent. As the baby was drawing milk air was being allowed to leak in without interfering with the feed. This means a vacuum doesn't build up making it harder for the baby to feed the longer they stay latched on. I didn't have to pull the bottle away to vent it and therefore I didn't have to interrupt the feed.I have a bottle steriliser which can take this bottle, so cleaning was no different to any other bottle I have, but I would think that the wide neck makes it a bit easier to manually clean and I would guess it would be a little quicker at drying out too, but I can't say for sure.A good buy.

In comparison to other brands of bottles these are a little more on the pricey side.But... They are soooo worth it!!We have used them for 9 months now and honestly I can count on my 1 finger how many times these bottled have leaked - And that was definitely his user error rather than the bottle. My baby has never suffered from colic from these bottles (although I'm not saying it's all because of these bottles -But I suppose every little helps)The writing is still in perfect condition - As I know other brands number markers scratch off easily so you can't see how much to fill etc.Compared to the older Avent bottles which were harder and started to have cracks on them - these newer Avent bottlesseem to have been made with a softer plastic - So when you put the hot kettle water into them they seem soft - But I haven't seen one crack in these bottles and I'm sure its to do with the design. All around - Brilliant bottle - Much better looking then other brands too!!Would definitely recommend

I have been using these honey coloured bottles for about 3 weeks now, 3 to 4 times a day and have never had any problems with leaking, I changed to these bottles from Tommee Tippee as I like how interchangeable the avent range is and I like that when the lid is on if you unscrew the teat and ring you can put in down on a surface on the lid, you cant do this with tommee tippee and I used to have my lids rolling over tables when adding the formula powder when out! I really like these bottles. I also like that you dont have an additional ring and they are easy to clean. I am updating this review as the very next day after writting it I noticed that some of the measuring scale on the bottles was beginning to rub off.I called avent's free customer service line and they are sending me out replacement bottles. If you do experience any problems with leaking etc call the line they are very helpful and will assist you.

Since my 2-year-old daughter was born we have used Dr Brown, Tommy Tippee, Avent Classic and these honey coloured Avent Advanced bottles. The Avent Advanced have been the best by far as they are durable, they do not discolour and you don't have to fiddle about with extra parts/rings. I have 6 of these bottles at home, bought 2 for my mum to use when she looks after my daughter and have just ordered 4 more and we have NEVER had a problem with leaking. I can only assume people aren't tightening them correctly, which I suppose could happen in the middle of the night when you are tired, although it certainly has never happened to me. You put the lid on and turn; simple as that.In my experience (of which I have a lot) these are the best bottles on the market.

We have always used avent so when i saw the new design i thought why not give it a go as i had brand new old style bottles from before.Firstly they look good which i know isn't important but i like good looking things so there. The main point of the new style is that it reduces Colic which i can say it really does. My first child had Colic issues on and off quite alot so thats the main reason i chose this bottle. The longer feel with the bigger bottles makes it a new shape to grip in the hand when feeding and gives the hand abit more comfort when does add up. Everthing else about it is the same great quality you would expect from avent.Every baby is different but after trying these new stylebottles i would highly recommend them.

I confess to not being that wild about Avent bottles. With both of my children I have automatically gone for the Tommee Tippe range as the Avent looked so big and clunky. So I was interested to try Avent's attempt at a more natural feeling bottle. The most important person in the equation, my baby daughter, took to them well, she seemed to like the shape of the teat and didn't struggle. I still found them heavy and awkward but an awful lot better than the regular style. They're on the right track so if you like Avent bottles but want something a little more natural for your child then you probably won't do better than this.

After buying three Avent classic ones by accident (they did not exist with my first child, so I assumed I was buying the same bottles) and two of these ones later, I lately upgraded all bottles to this quality, as it is much better. The valve is integrated into the teat, so no additional rings which can be forgotten or fall out (especially at night in the dark), resulting in a baby soaked in milk that needs changing all his clothes. The honey tinted material of the bottle is a much better quality as well than the classic ones, even after long use they look brand new. Would strongl recommend buying those over the Classic.

The bottles have a slight honey coloured tinge (due to no BPA no doubt). I have no problem with this and am pleased to think that I am protecting my baby. They work exactly the same as other AVENT bottles - very well. The slow flow teats (for 1m+ babies) were ideal and I plan to buy another two so that I only use the no BPA ones. Do be warned though that not many people are aware of the BPA issue and one of my ante natal class friends thought the bottles were second-hand. I wasn't bothered about this and explained the issue. I would definitely recommend buying these bottles.

These are rather good feeding bottles. The teat is apparently extra soft and flexible although to be honest I couldn't tell the different. What is good though is there is some type of twin valve design on the teat so that when the baby is sucking air can enter the bottle from the side. This helps reduce colic... I'd make the comparison to trying to drink a bottle of coke without letting air get into the mouth. There's not many parts to this making it easy to disassemble and clean.Overall, pretty good - and a company who are known to make good baby feeding products.

We started out with Tommi Tippee bottles but baby prefers these. We switched to Avent for everything as they have great valves to prevent burping and are easy to clean. These bottles are a different shape to other/older Avent bottles but are equally as good. The teat is a big "nipple" size for new born. My partner reckons you shouldnt mix bottle and breast as bottle becomes an easy habit, but I'm sure in reality it doesnt matter, as long a baby gets enough food then everyone's happy! Overall, these are great bottles and good value being a twin pack.

I don't know what all the fuss is about re leaking, if you do them up properly they do not leak, simple as that. I prefer these to the Classic bottles as you don't need to mess around with the extra valve ring, and they sink to the bottom of the cold water steriliser rather than floating to the surface which the Classic ones tend to do. My only gripe is that the volume markings on the bottle wore off within 4 months whereas I know people with Tommee Tippee bottles had no such problem. All in all, I find these bottles prefable to the Classic ones.

I think they are great and very attractive, my son loves them, as I combine feed I didn't seem to have any problem at all.I decided to breast feed my baby, but after six months I started to bottle feed as well and he got on so well because I was already feeding him just one bottle a day to introduce him with other milk in case if I decided to bottle feed, which helped me so much after six month to get him to bottle feed and from day one I use these bottles and never got rejected by him, could recommend for all babies to give them a try.

To be honest I haven't tried any other bottles but there's no need to with these. I decided on Avent because I have their new Free Comfort breast pump and I wanted the adapted bottles. My baby girl easily accepts these bottles with the number 1 nipple as well as the breast, she has never had any issue with nipple confusion. Easy to clean because of the wide neck. I prefer these PP bottles to glass because the glass in more than the 4oz size are annoyingly heavy.

brilliant bottle, the nipple shape teats makes it easy for baby to latch on , i really love how the lid is designed it screws on so well and closes perfectly with no leakage at all. The feeder is easy to hold for baby and also comfortable to hold while feeding babyThe little design on feeder is nice with clear plastic , the plastic quality is really good , it washs well in the boiling water and still look good as new.

These bottles seem to last well... it took me a while to figure out that you need to put the blue seal in or they'll leak. They wash up simply enough and my little lady had no problem taking to them. They will stain if you put them through the dishwasher with anything tomato based. You also need to remember to up the size of the teat as your little one grows. They do seem faster flowing than tommee tippee teats.
