My PS4 1TB Firecuda drive died (don't ask) so I wanted something with similar space but and SSD. This Patriot wasn't the cheapest, although it almost was, but I had purchased the 480GB for my MAC and was really impressed by it so I thought why not take a punt on the 960GB for my PS4 and im glad I did. Everything on the PS4 is now done in a fraction of the time the Firecuda took even though that was a hybrid drive. Game installs take half as long and load times are greatly improved, so overall very pleased with this.

There is not a great deal to say about this drive other that its fast and reliable and ideal for speeding up a tired laptop or fast boot on a desktop. The only reason I knocked a star off was because of its rather cheap 'feeling' plastic case. Premium drives tend to use aluminium which helps with heat dissipation, not that heat is much of an issue on an SSD.

It was a toss up between a new laptop and a replacement drive, really happy I went down the ssd route as its given my laptop a new lease of life, boot up has gone from 2 mins to 15 seconds, photo viewing is super quick.Also purchased a USB adaptor so I could mirror my original drive, left it running over night all finished by breakfast

so cheap and has made my old workshop PC boot so fast I can barely sit down before its into windows and usable.Ok so yes its not as fast on large file transfers probably to to the lack of D-ram buffer ...but for every day use ....browsing the web , YouTube and amazon shopping/prime video its fast.

I used this with a Gigabyte H310M S2H motherboard installed in a PC I was putting together. Boot up time for me was about 25 secs. Note that boot-up was much longer if the system had to look for an absent second drive - my mistake! OS is Linux Mint 19.1. Using SSD's are definitely the way to go.

Really happy with this. Added to an older i5 desktop (using about of velcro as couldn't be bothered to buy a conversation bracket) and it breathed new life into it, giving another few years of life.Far better performance increase than just adding a bit more RAM for more money.

Very fast even on my old socket 754 system on windows 98, boots win98se in 2 seconds flat.Patriot make some of the best PC memory on the market, this drive is no slouch either.These are quality ssd's not to be confused with the cheap chinese tat drives.

For the price, the value is very good for an ssd like this. It surely is fast, looks durable and easy to install. After running some tests, the ssd performed just like any other big brand ssd. I am really happy with this product.

popped this into a caddy and used free program to "Clone" my old laptop drive which was slower and slower due to bad segments. took about 2 hours to clone the drive and 10 minutes to install and the difference in speed is huge!

Used this SSD to replace a HDD in my old laptop. Night and day. System boots in a fraction of the time and is more responsive. Only gave 4 stars for longevity, hopefully it will continue for sometime.

I use this in a Linux system so it has EXT4 filesystem. It reads and writes very quick e.g 15 seconds for a 2GB file and that's via a USB port as I use it for additional backup.

Best size and read/speed For the buck. A must for pc upgrade and performance improvement. 10x faster than old mechanical hdd drives. Highly recommended. Thanks to ebuyer.
