I bought this from a high street supplier, significantly more expensive but needed it immediately. Been using it for a few months now and had to leave a review. I am doing an engineering course at Uni and have a module in engineering drawing. Imagine my surprise when we started off by hand drawing. I don't like pens because I make mistakes, I'm a bit clumsy in the writing/drawing department and I don't get on with pencils because of the constant need to sharpen and the fact they always seem to break and do the double point thing. I decided seeing as I knew nothing about mechanical pencils to buy a cheaper one and I knew parker to be a good manufacturer of fountain pens so when I saw this product I thought it would be a good starting point.

lovely item, elegant pencil, engravable, it is a fantastic gift even for yourself as well. i am really satisfied with it. i bought it together with the same type of pen and the pencase as a gift. he loved that and not going without them to work. the prize is really worth to buy it. this brand never gonna let you down. i can suggest to anyone. the delivery was quick and arrived on time. i did not wondering about sending this product back to the seller because it looks exactly the same on the picture like in real.

This is a super pencil, I wanted something to replace an earlier "button" pencil I lost and I searched extensively for a it. I found some very helpful reviews on Amazon, which assisted my decision. I agree with one commentator that the only drawback is the sharp point which is present even when the lead is retracted. However, I can live with that as the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. A great pencil.

not the one I was looking for but it is ok, does the job.The one I was looking for has the grip part of the pencil made with plastic or rubber material which I can hold better than the smoothpencil, I don't know if the one I would prefer is an old model or out of stock, if it comes available in the future I will buy one but inthe mean time I can manage with this one I have just received.Regard JF

The Parker Jotter Mechanical Pencil was used extensively by my Grandson, particularly for Kumon.When it was stolen - he requested another Parker.. All I had to do was place the order with Amazon - no comparing with other makes, just the same. A good advert for Parker from my Grandson !Unfortunatey having his Name engraved did not protect it from being stolen.Ricky Cooper.

I have always loved the Parker products, and when my old stainless steel Pencil was no longer useable I bought another right away, I was very pleased with the service I received during the transaction, I use it every day. Thank you for being so prompt with the order. A very satisfied customer.

I had one of these pencils for over 20 years and used it extensively almost every day. It survived being dropped on many occasions and also survived a full cycle in a washing machine. What went wrong? I lost it! So when it came to buying a replacement there was only one choice.

What can I say, it's a Jotter! :PGood everyday-carry kind of pen, works well and can take lots of abuse too! Does not look fancy, but this is a cheap pen so never expected it too look fancy. Nevertheless it's a well made pen for everyday life! I have both the pen and pencil!

I bought this to keep with my script to mark my directors changes in drama group, as I kept losing my regular pencil! Now everyone knows which is my pencil, and I haven't lost it yet :o) Its a nice looking pencil, and comfortable to hold and write with.

Finally a pencil that allows me to still look professional in meetings. I am not a fan of pens so I have had to use those brighlty coloured pencils in meetings. It always made me feel like a child with a crayon. This is beautiful like all things Parker.

This is a sturdy and reliable pencil, which looks great too. It is not expensive either, which, as a teacher (and one who looses pens and pencils too often), makes it ideal.Was delivered quickly and packaged well.

I have used it on smooth paper and it feels wonderful. It's also very comfortable to hold, with a nice weight to it, and the eraser is decent too. Overall I really do like this pencil. Recommend.

I have bought a lot of mechanical pencils in the past and this is the best so far. The last one cracked as it was part plastic but this is solid metal and I am expecting it to last a long time.

I use this pencil everyday - it feels comfortable, weighted and looks good. The clicking mechanism still works, a few months on, and the refills seem to be fairly cheap, for when it runs out.

What more can I say? I liked my first one so much I bought another! One lives on my desk, one stays in my coat pocket. Really nice balance, great to write and draw with and very pro looking.
